The Fortune Teller watched Jiang Chen draw his sword but wasn’t worried, continuing to eat leisurely.

"You’re not afraid I’ll kill you?"

The Fortune Teller laughed, "If you wanted to kill , why would you bother drawing your sword?"

"A Demigod wouldn’t need to draw a sword to kill . You’re just trying to scare an old man like . Have Demigods these days beco so impatient?"

The Fortune Teller sighed.

Jiang Chen sheathed his sword and smiled, "Interesting. How did you know I am a Demigod?"

"Great Destruction Demigod, your na is known throughout the entire Continent of All-Gods. Your fa has spread across countless realms; both the Alliance of All-Gods and the League of Difiled Gods know of you."

Jiang Chen was astonished. "You know who I am? Even after I changed my identity?"

"Don’t forget, I am a Fortune Teller, capable of predicting the future. Naturally, I foresaw your arrival. I am here specifically waiting for you."

"You knew I would co back?"

"Yes."

"For what purpose?"

"To discuss how one becos a Divine."

Jiang Chen looked at the Fortune Teller. He strongly suspects this man is a Divine, possessing a God’s Seal and the Prophecy Laws. Yet, he feels like an ordinary person, not a Divine at all. How could an ordinary man have such abilities? This piqued Jiang Chen’s curiosity.

Jiang Chen stepped forward and asked, "So, do you know how one can beco a Divine?"

"There’s only one way."

"What is that thod?"

"The Destiny Fruit."

Jiang Chen was puzzled. "How do you know about the Destiny Fruit?"

"I am a Fortune Teller; naturally, I know."

"Then make a prophecy: without the Destiny Fruit, can I find an opportunity to beco the God of Destruction?"

The Fortune Teller shook his head. "No. No one can beco a Divine without relying on the Destiny Fruit. Absolutely no one."

"Since ancient tis, everyone, whether Lord or Divine, has relied on the Destiny Fruit to forge their God’s Seal."

"There are no other thods."

Jiang Chen looked at the old man and chuckled, "The last ti you perford a divination for , I recall drawing a red coffin. Didn’t that signify I was already dead?"

"How co I’m still alive now? It seems your predictions are not always accurate."

The Fortune Teller shook his head. "No, that red coffin did not represent you; it represented the All Gods. You have killed many Divines."

"And you also claid I am a servant of the Divines! That’s false too."

"No. Are you not aware that the highest authority on the Continent of All-Gods is a woman? You joined the Continent of All-Gods and beca its God of Destruction. If you are not her servant, then whose are you?"

"The Alliance of All-Gods has thirteen Lords who manage the Continent of All-Gods in shifts," Jiang Chen retorted. "There’s no single highest one."

The Fortune Teller asked, "Who told you that?"

"I’m aware of it."

"What if the Lords are concealing sothing from you? Or perhaps even the All Gods are unaware, and only the Lords know!"

Jiang Chen was utterly bewildered.

There are thirteen Lords in total on the Continent of All-Gods. They manage the Alliance in shifts; one Lord takes charge while the others rest. If an issue arises, all Lords are summoned. Last ti it was Divine King Laines, this ti it’s Divine King Chris... Next, it will be another Lord.

Jiang Chen asked, "Then who do you say it is?"

"I cannot tell you."

"Why not?"

"It’s a secret. If I were to tell you, I would be discovered and erased. I cannot even speak the na. Trust ."

Jiang Chen said, "So, you stopped to offer another divination?"

"Yes. The last divination concerned you becoming a Divine."

"And now that you are on that path, I can divine what lies beyond becoming a Divine for you."

Jiang Chen laughed, "Well, I might as well trust you once more..."

The Fortune Teller produced his Tarot Cards.

Jiang Chen took them, shuffled them a bit, and handed them back.

The Fortune Teller said, "The sa old rules."

Jiang Chen drew five Tarot Cards.

The Fortune Teller flipped over the first card. It depicted a luminous, crystal-clear red fruit—a mysterious fruit radiating a dazzling light.

Jiang Chen vaguely felt that it was the Destiny Fruit.

Jiang Chen asked, "What is this?"

"It is as you suspect. This is a Destiny Fruit. In the days to co, you will journey to the Battlefield of the Gods to find this fruit and beco the God of Destruction."

Jiang Chen turned over the second card. It showed a large tree with three tiers. The first tier bore red fruits, the second blue fruits, and the third tier alone... held a single, multicolored fruit.

The Fortune Teller declared, "I believe you understand. This is the Destiny Tree, laden with fruit. The first tier holds Destiny Fruits; consuming one allows you to condense a God’s Seal."

"The fruits on the second tier are called Sovereign’s Fruits. The Lords of the Continent of All-Gods all consud one of these to attain their positions."

"As for the fruit at the very peak, that is the Supre Fruit."

"It represents a Realm beyond that of a Lord."

Jiang Chen was shocked. Is this the Destiny Tree? And to reach the Realm beyond Lord, which fruit is required?

Jiang Chen looked at the Fortune Teller. "How do you know this?"

"As I have told you, I am a Fortune Teller, so naturally, I know these things. You will advance step by step. Eat the fruit from the lower tier, then those from the tier above, and finally, consu the fruit at the pinnacle. Then, you will beco the supre being in the entire universe."

"At that ti, you will be the King of All-Gods, reigning supre over all Divines and Lords..."

Jiang Chen gazed at the Fortune Teller. He had to admit, this was incredibly tempting. First, beco a Divine, then a Lord, and finally, the Supre. Is this how the story is ant to unfold? Smooth sailing, ruling the entire universe, with all Divines and Lords bowing at his feet... It’s an undeniably irresistible lure, even for him.

Jiang Chen inquired, "Since you are a Fortune Teller, you must know about the Battlefield of the Gods. Divines and Lords are trapped there. I want to know why they cannot leave."

The Fortune Teller fell silent for a mont. "That is because the Master of Destiny unleashed the Power of Destiny, preventing any of them from leaving."

"And who is the Master of Destiny?"

"If there are Laws of Destruction, Ti Law, Space Law, and Prophecy Laws, then it stands to reason there must also be a Destiny Law."

That made perfect sense. Jiang Chen found himself believing it.

Jiang Chen, puzzled, asked, "Then why hasn’t the Master of Destiny left the Battlefield of the Gods?"

"That, I do not know. Perhaps he has his reasons."

Jiang Chen, looking at the Fortune Teller, chuckled, "Is it possible that you are, in fact, a clone of the Master of Destiny?"

The Fortune Teller looked at Jiang Chen. "Why would you think that?"

"I never believe in things like free lunches, especially since you were here waiting for . I don’t understand your motives."

"You claim to be a Fortune Teller, but an ordinary fortune teller couldn’t possibly know such secrets."

"Secrets unknown even to Divines, yet you, who are not a Divine, claim to know them."

"Furthermore, you’re guiding on the path to becoming a Divine?"

"What’s in it for you?"

Jiang Chen’s gaze sharpened as he stared at the Fortune Teller. He could only trust himself.
