Jiang Chen nodded. "Yes."

Baltasar looked at Jiang Chen, his gaze fixed intently on him. "You’re not Jassim. You are..."

Jiang Chen’s expression was one of utter shock. Has he figured it out?

Without hesitation, Baltasar attacked, launching a deadly pursuit against Jiang Chen.

Jiang Chen retreated rapidly, using the Door of Wonders to blink away, escaping far, far away.

The Lords of this Battlefield of the Gods were incredibly powerful, far stronger than the Lords on the Continent of All-Gods. Jiang Chen quickly turned his head. "How did you know I’m not him?"

Baltasar replied coldly, "Indeed, you aren’t him. The Engrave Fruit grows beside the Destiny Tree, and no one can pick the Engrave Fruit. If you were him, you would never have made such a request."

"I see," Jiang Chen murmured.

"It seems you’ve also cultivated Soul Power," Baltasar continued. "How about we cooperate?"

Jiang Chen smiled. "Cooperate? You were just trying to kill , and now you want to cooperate? Do you take for an idiot?"

Baltasar said, "Since I’m proposing cooperation, there are naturally benefits involved. You don’t understand the Battlefield of the Gods; it contains many things. So are crucial for Divine beings, and others are vital for Lords. You haven’t yet fused with a God’s Seal. If you try to do it on your own, it could take tens of thousands of years, or even longer. However, at the center of the Battlefield of the Gods, there’s a type of fruit. Consuming this fruit can help you fuse with the Seal of Destruction much faster."

Jiang Chen chuckled. "You don’t need to worry about that. I’ll fuse with the Seal of Destruction on my own."

Baltasar retorted coldly, "Oh, really? Why don’t you try? Attempt to fuse all the Laws of Destruction together and see if you succeed. Do you think simply rging all the Laws will form a seal? That’s impossible."

Baltasar wasn’t worried. Fusing with a God’s Seal was far from easy.

Jiang Chen gave it a try. He focused on rging all his Laws of Destruction. He could feel them coalescing, all the Laws of Destruction combining into one.

But... it didn’t form a tangible Seal of Destruction.

It was like bundling strands of hair together; they were bound, but not truly fused into a single, square-shaped God’s Seal. A God’s Seal was a square, solid object, roughly the size of a stamp.

It didn’t work? It really didn’t work?

Jiang Chen had initially assud that once he gathered enough Laws of Destruction, they would naturally fuse into a complete seal. However, when he actually attempted the fusion, he abruptly realized it wasn’t that straightforward at all. These Laws of Destruction had rely gathered together, not truly beco one.

Baltasar smirked. "Feeling it now, are you? A God’s Seal isn’t so easy to fuse."

At that mont, Jiang Chen finally understood why Divine beings from the outside world fought so fiercely over complete God’s Seals. Once a God’s Seal was shattered, reforming it was incredibly difficult. That was why Divine beings in the outer worlds all inherited existing God’s Seals—by killing a Divine and taking theirs.

Jiang Chen asked, "Why is that?"

"Didn’t I tell you?" Baltasar replied. "Fusing a God’s Seal isn’t simple. It requires sothing specific."

"What is it?"

"And you think I’d tell you now?"

Seriously? Jiang Chen was montarily speechless.

Jiang Chen considered for a mont, then smiled. "Alright, we can cooperate. But first, you have to tell what this is all about."

"There’s no harm in telling you," Baltasar conceded. "In the center of the Battlefield of the Gods stands an imnse tree, a gigantic fruit tree we call the Destiny Tree. On this tree grow many fruits, among which is a particular kind called the Destiny Fruit. This fruit enables a Divine to condense a God’s Seal. Only by obtaining this fruit can you succeed in the fusion. And only then will you be recognized by the cosmos as a true Divine."

"So, where is this fruit located?" Jiang Chen asked.

"In the very center of the entire Battlefield of the Gods."

"Obtaining this fruit must be dangerous, then?"

"Yes, extrely dangerous."

Jiang Chen pressed, "Alright. So, tell how to get this fruit."

"Kid, do you take for a fool?" Baltasar scoffed. "If I help you, allowing you to freely leave the Battlefield of the Gods, what’s in it for ?"

"What do you want?"

"The Ti-Space Lord."

Jiang Chen stared. The Ti-Space Lord? Is he insane? , deal with a Lord? I can’t possibly handle a Lord!

Baltasar clarified, "I don’t need you to *deal* with the Ti-Space Lord. I just need you to bring him here. I have my own ways to handle him. Once you bring him to , I will arrange for you to receive the Destiny Fruit, allowing you to attain the status of a Divine."

Baltasar’s condition was straightforward: he needed the Ti-Space Lord’s body for possession, intending to use it to escape the Battlefield of the Gods.

Jiang Chen chuckled. "Aren’t you making things difficult for ? How am I supposed to tell him? And why would he even co to the Battlefield of the Gods?"

"It’s quite simple," Baltasar replied. "You just need to tell him that at the center of the Battlefield of the Gods, there’s a Destiny Tree, and on that tree grows a unique fruit. This fruit can elevate a Lord to a higher realm."

"What kind of fruit?"

"I don’t know its na, but if you tell him, he will believe you. Trust , I wouldn’t deceive you."

Baltasar sounded extrely confident.

Jiang Chen frowned deeply, observing Baltasar’s unwavering confidence.

Could it be... he mused. Could their original purpose in coming here have been to vie for that fruit? To reach a realm beyond that of a Lord? But then they were subdued by so mysterious powerhouse on the Battlefield of the Gods, turned into Puppets, and have been desperately trying to escape ever since.

"You’ve guessed correctly," Baltasar affird. "In ages long past, we ca here seeking a path to a realm beyond that of a Lord. This place, the Battlefield of the Gods, wasn’t always known by this na. It was originally called the Continent of Destiny. It is also the most enigmatic continent in the entire cosmos. Countless Divine beings and Lords waged great wars here, all to claim the most prized fruit from the Destiny Tree. Consuming it would allow one to ascend to a realm surpassing that of a Lord.

"However, in the end, everyone failed. The Destiny Tree itself unleashed a formidable Strength, imprisoning all of us on the Continent of Destiny. We all beca its Puppets, with no ans of escape. And if you wish to beco a Divine, you must consu one of its Destiny Fruits."

Jiang Chen smiled. "Then what about the Engrave Fruit?"

"The Engraved Fruit also grows on the Destiny Tree, just on a lower tier," Baltasar explained.

Jiang Chen nodded. "Alright. Give an Engraved Fruit, and after I return, I’ll handle this matter for you."

Baltasar stared at Jiang Chen, hesitating.

Jiang Chen smiled again. "There must be give and take. Only if you give an Engraved Fruit will I choose to trust you. Of course, you can refuse. In that case, I’ll just leave directly."
