Jiang Chen now understood why he was in the Divine Domain. It was Divine King Laines’s command: Roselle was to take Li Qinglian, accompany Jiang Chen to the Land of Sin, find Bai Yun, and ensure Bai Yun’s return to the Continent of All-Gods. As for Jiang Chen’s task of refining the Energy Sphere, that had been a trivial matter; by consuming the experience sphere, he had directly reached level 500.

Once Bai Yun returned to the Continent of All-Gods, Jiang Chen would naturally beco the God of Destruction and form his own Seal of Destruction.

Bai Yun was the Divine King’s son. It’s perfectly normal for the Divine King to miss his son, isn’t it?

However, why ? Jiang Chen couldn’t understand. Anyone could have done this! Considering Bai Yun’s personality, he definitely wouldn’t submit to the Continent of All-Gods so easily; otherwise, he would have done so long ago. But is this woman really Bai Yun’s wife?

Jiang Chen was skeptical. After all, she seems so ordinary, just a common woman.

Jiang Chen said, "I can try, but I don’t know if Bai Yun will return. I can’t even beat him, so it’s not like I can drag him back by force."

Roselle laughed. "Of course. This is a task Divine King Laines entrusted to , and also to you. I hope you complete it well."

"It doesn’t matter if you can’t complete it fully," Roselle added. "You just need to bring her to Bai Yun and let her stay with him."

"Alright."

Jiang Chen then left with Li Qinglian.

Roselle looked at Angelina and chuckled. "Your lover here might find it quite difficult to integrate into the Alliance, even if he becos the God of Destruction. He’s a descendant of the Wanderers, and it seems he also believes in their ways."

Angelina remained silent for a long mont before saying, "He will."

"Even though you’ve been with him for a long ti, you don’t truly understand him. He’s the sa kind of person as Bai Yun. The only difference is that his lover is you, soone who belongs to the Alliance of All-Gods."

Roselle then asked, "Do you also believe in this so-called love, just like him?"

Angelina fell silent once more.

Roselle sighed. "Go back now."

Angelina left the room.

Jiang Chen departed with Li Qinglian, heading for the Land of Sin.

He looked at her. "Are you a Hero?"

Jiang Chen couldn’t sense any True Qi from Li Qinglian, only the Power of Laws. Surprisingly, she was indeed a Hero.

Li Qinglian nodded. "Yes, I am a Hero. I am the Goddess of Priests."

"Weren’t you cultivating Wanderers’ True Qi before?" Jiang Chen asked.

"I was, but I gave it up and beca a Hero of the Continent of All-Gods."

"How did you cultivate?"

"By eating that white sphere."

What?! Jiang Chen was stunned. The white sphere? An experience sphere? Good heavens, it directly made Li Qinglian a divine being? This is just... How can the difference between people be so vast!

Jiang Chen asked, "How did you and Bai Yun et?"

"On the street."

Well... that was a surprisingly straightforward answer, Jiang Chen thought, observing Li Qinglian’s smile. It reminded him of the sweet and naive female protagonists in novels. How did soone like her beco Bai Yun’s wife?

「The Land of Sin.」

Jiang Chen arrived and went to the tavern Bai Yun frequented, but unfortunately, Bai Yun wasn’t there. A headache began to throb in Jiang Chen’s temples.

Jiang Chen turned and forced a smile. "Bai Yun isn’t here."

Li Qinglian tugged at Jiang Chen’s sleeve, her head lowered. "Then what should we do?"

"We’ll just wait for him here."

Li Qinglian nodded. "Okay, I’ll wait for him here. I believe he’ll co back for ."

"I’ll wait with you," Jiang Chen offered.

"Actually, you don’t need to. I can wait for him here by myself."

Jiang Chen shook his head with a helpless sigh. Even though Li Qinglian is a divine being, she seems incredibly naive. Soone could easily trick her and steal her God’s Seal. Still, I have to wait here for Bai Yun. I owe him at least an explanation.

Just then, Er Xin arrived at the tavern and stopped short, shocked at the sight of Li Qinglian. Isn’t this the woman Master has been painting for years? Who is she? And why is she with Jiang Chen?

Er Xin imdiately hurried over, pulled Jiang Chen aside, and whispered, "Who is she?"

"Li Qinglian."

"What? Li Qinglian?" Er Xin exclaid, her eyes wide with disbelief.

"Is there a problem?" Jiang Chen asked.

"Isn’t she... dead?"

"Dead?"

"Of course! Li Qinglian was Master’s companion. She died a long, long ti ago! Where did you find her?"

"On the Continent of All-Gods."

Er Xin nodded slowly. "It could be soone who just looks exactly like her."

"No," Jiang Chen said. "She knows Bai Yun."

Knows Bai Yun? What does that an? Could she really be Master’s companion? Er Xin was utterly baffled.

Jiang Chen was equally puzzled. From Er Xin’s reaction, she clearly didn’t know about any current relationship between Li Qinglian and Bai Yun, yet she recognized the woman’s appearance.

Jiang Chen offered a tentative smile. "It’s very possible Li Qinglian didn’t actually die."

Er Xin shook her head firmly. "No, she definitely died. Master buried her himself. It was one of those deaths... not even bones were left, only a lock of hair."

"Then who is she?" Jiang Chen asked.

Er Xin grumbled, "How would I know? You’re the one who brought her here!"

Jiang Chen mused with a smile, "Could she be a twin sister?"

"She doesn’t have a twin," Er Xin said. "But she does have a sister nad Li Xiaolian."

Just then, Trena, who had joined them, looked at Li Qinglian and comnted, "It’s quite possible the All Gods resurrected Li Qinglian. After all, gods are capable of resurrecting people."

Er Xin’s brow furrowed in thought. "This Li Qinglian is highly suspicious. Little Na, tonight, while she’s asleep, enter her Dreamspace and investigate."

Trena, being an Incubus, could indeed enter a Dreamspace. Whether it was dangerous or not was another question; no one knew the full extent of a divine being’s powers.

Trena nodded.

Jiang Chen also felt that sothing was not right about this Li Qinglian.

「As night fell...」

Li Qinglian was staying in a room at the tavern and quickly fell asleep.

At that mont, Trena, accompanied by Jiang Chen and Er Xin, entered Li Qinglian’s Dreamspace. Li Qinglian remained completely unaware of the intrusion.

Within the Dreamspace, they witnessed all of Li Qinglian’s mories, starting from her childhood, through her years of growing up, to her fateful encounter with Bai Yun, and the developnt of their relationship.

Jiang Chen watched the scenes play out. So, Li Qinglian really did et Bai Yun on the street. When Bai Yun walked past her, he actually turned back to look at her specifically. Was this what it’s like to just stumble upon a Second Gen God? And they just got together like that? What a strange way for things to happen!

The three of them saw every detail of her past unfold clearly.

They exchanged glances. The mories unequivocally showed that Li Qinglian was indeed Bai Yun’s companion; these mories couldn’t be fabricated. This was the unique advantage of an Incubus—the ability to delve into a host’s mories.

The trio exited the Dreamspace.

"This person is indeed Bai Yun’s companion," Trena confird.

Er Xin nodded. "It certainly seems so. But sothing still feels off. Li Qinglian died. It should be impossible for her to be resurrected."

"Perhaps the All Gods brought her back to life," Trena suggested.

"How did Li Qinglian die?" Jiang Chen asked.
