Er Xin asked, "You ntioned a swordsman before? Was your arm severed by a single strike?"

Alliou Giml nodded. "Yes, his Sword Qi is very similar to yours, possessing formidable Offensive Power. It’s as if his is the only sword in existence."

"That one sword strike is terrifying. If I hadn’t used my ti-space ability to alter the trajectory of the Sword Qi, I would have been killed instantly."

"This man might very well be like your master."

The others looked towards Er Xin.

This was Bai Yun’s second disciple. He had also inherited Bai Yun’s Heaven Cutting Swords Technique and commanded an invincible and mighty Sword Qi. Bai Yun had a total of eight disciples. Ba Jie was the youngest and weakest among them, while One Sword was the vice president of the Loyal Justice Association. The remaining disciples were not mbers of the Loyal Justice Association. Er Xin, as the second disciple, was also a Nineth-Stage Powerhouse, his strength no less than One Sword’s.

Hearing Alliou Giml’s words, Er Xin imdiately thought of his own master, Bai Yun, who had also once been a swordsman. In fact, the Swordsman Class itself was developed by Bai Yun, based on the Wanderer. Most of these skills were adaptations he made, based on The Fallen. Skills like Shifting Ti and Space, Dragon in the sky, Sword Qi Surging, and Wan Jian Gui Clan were all crafted from Ancient Martial Arts. By altering how these skills were used, Swordsn could learn them.

The Bai Yun of the past was not only a Nineth-Stage Powerhouse but had also cultivated the Swordsman Badge to its absolute pinnacle, becoming a Demigod on the Continent of All-Gods. Very few knew of this, but Er Xin, as his disciple, happened to be one of them.

"It seems that swordsman has received your master’s inheritance," one of the group said.

"It’s also possible he’s a pawn your master placed on the Continent of All-Gods," another added.

A third voice chid in, "This lad is quite interesting. Er Xin, why don’t you go et him? Persuade him to surrender to us. We of the Difiled God Continent also have the Swordsman Class, you know."

"I am indeed quite curious to et this swordsman," soone else mused.

Faced with their suggestions, Er Xin stated, "I’ll go take a look."

With that, he turned and departed, heading east...

At that mont, Jiang Chen and Delia had just returned to the city.

Jiang Chen stopped in his tracks.

He sensed an aura.

An aura of a Wanderer.

The powerful presence astonished Jiang Chen. He had only ever felt such an aura from One Sword, but it was clear this person was not him. However, their cultivation thods were the sa.

A Wanderer has co.

Delia, seeing Jiang Chen halt, asked, "What’s wrong?"

"Another enemy," Jiang Chen replied.

"Who? That Dark Lord from before?" Delia asked.

"No, soone else," Jiang Chen clarified.

Delia said, "It seems the Difiled God Continent is determined to annihilate our 200,000-strong army. I’ll go with you to check it out."

"I’m afraid you’re no match for him," Jiang Chen cautioned.

Delia retorted defiantly, "What are you talking about? If that Dark Lord hadn’t summoned the Ti-Space Beast, I would have killed him easily! That Ti-Space Beast just happens to be my Achilles’ heel."

What the [Photonic] Class feared most were skills involving spatial lockdowns. Once space was sealed, Delia faced certain death unless she could shatter the spatial lock with superior strength; speed made no difference. It was impossible to break through barriers made of spatial crystals.

Jiang Chen said, "Alright, let’s go take a look. Because this ti, it’s not just anyone. It’s a Wanderer, a powerful one—stronger than your brother-in-law."

"Really?" Delia scoffed. "Ever since I reached level 350 after my seventh-stage reincarnation, even my brother-in-law is no match for . The Wanderer may be strong, but compared to my speed, he’s a joke."

Jiang Chen was speechless.

You completely underestimate Wanderers. Their strength lies not in True Qi, but in their unparalleled Perception of danger. The mont you draw your sword, the opponent has already sensed it.

Jiang Chen had encountered many powerful opponents. Each ti, he managed to escape pursuit thanks to his strong Perception, which allowed him to leave the area before an enemy could launch an attack. Dodging enemy attacks also stemd from this Perception.

Jiang Chen and Delia quickly headed back.

Returning to their previous location, they saw a man in a black robe standing under a tree on the opposite side. He glanced back at them.

It was confird: the man before them was the swordsman. As for the other figure, a woman floating in the air, she had to be of the [Photonic] Class.

Er Xin looked at Jiang Chen. "You are that swordsman."

"Yes," Jiang Chen affird.

"Very well. Take this!" Er Xin declared, drawing his sword first.

Jiang Chen felt the True Qi inside Er Xin rapidly condense. The instant Er Xin struck, a beam of Sword Qi slashed towards Jiang Chen.

Jiang Chen also unleashed his God Chopping Sword Drawing Technique!

ZZZRAK!

RUMBLE!

The two beams of Sword Qi collided, erupting with a powerful roar.

A single exchange. Just one move was enough to gauge the opponent’s strength.

Jiang Chen now understood: the man before him practiced the Heaven Cutting Swords Technique and was also a disciple of Bai Yun. What Jiang Chen couldn’t comprehend was why a disciple of Bai Yun would associate with people from the Difiled God Continent.

Could it be... he defected to the Difiled God Continent? Wouldn’t it be far better to join the Continent of All-Gods?!

Er Xin said, "So, you truly received Master’s legacy."

"You’re not bad yourself," Jiang Chen replied. "Your strength is about the sa as One Sword’s."

"You’ve t my Senior Brother?" Er Xin asked, surprised.

"I have," Jiang Chen replied. "He saved my life. Seeing as you’re his Junior Brother, you may leave!"

Er Xin laughed heartily. ", leave? Do you think you can kill ?"

"I can," Jiang Chen stated confidently.

"And what makes you so confident?" Er Xin challenged.

"You’re a Wanderer," Jiang Chen explained. "Your True Qi isn’t an infinite cycle; it needs ti to recover. I’m different. I’m a Hero, so I don’t need ti to recover."

Er Xin retorted, "You can’t fool . You can sense my True Qi depleting, and I can also sense your Magic Power fading. You have enough for two more of those attacks, at most."

Jiang Chen laughed. "Just kidding! Don’t take it so seriously."

Damn. He even saw through that. How did he sense my Magic Power was insufficient? Can he read my mind?

The God Chopping Sword Drawing Technique required imnse Magic Power. All told, Jiang Chen could only use it three tis before needing to wait for his Magic Power to recover. The other party, however, seed different; he could likely use his technique five or six tis.

Delia shot Jiang Chen a sidelong glance.

This guy just loves to posture.

"I’ll handle him," Delia declared.

"Handle him? Are you crazy?" Jiang Chen snapped. "We’re not enemies!"

"He’s one of The Fallen, from the Difiled God Continent! And you just said we’re not enemies?" Delia glared at Jiang Chen, exasperated. "Jiang Chen, you need to be clear about your position, your identity! You are a Hero of the Continent of All-Gods!"

What on earth is wrong with this guy? Getting involved with people from the Difiled God Continent. Doesn’t he know the Difiled God Continent and the Continent of All-Gods are mortal enemies?

Delia attacked imdiately. Extending her right hand, she shot a finger-beam at Er Xin. A powerful ray of light flashed, but in the next instant, Er Xin had already dodged out of the attack’s range. The beam pierced a large nearby tree but left him unhard.

Er Xin nodded. "A very strong class, but utterly useless against ."

"Is that so?" Delia shot back, then flew into the sky, extending her right hand. "Five-Finger Rapid Fire!" she yelled.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

Delia rapidly shot beams of light from her five fingers. Er Xin weaved swiftly across the ground, effortlessly evading each beam.

His Perception was exceptionally strong. Being able to sense danger—that was the true strength of a Wanderer.
