Worldwide Class Change: An Invincible Swordsman Chapter 216, The Deadliest Show-Off is Invisible1
It was a success; we’ve captured the leader of The Fallen.
Roy continued, "Carn Liu, I know you have unresolved issues with Jiang Chen, believing he killed mbers of your clan. If we can sit down and discuss this properly, that would be best. If not, then we’ll initiate a legion war."
"My Gregory Family is not afraid of your Carn Family."
Carn Liu’s expression turned grim. He hadn’t expected Roy to be so forceful, bringing their feud out into the open—this was a major taboo. From Roy’s tone, it was clear he was determined to protect Jiang Chen at all costs.
From the high platform, an Elder spoke, "That’s enough, Carn Liu. Do not bring personal vendettas into this eting. That is sothing the Alliance will absolutely not tolerate."
"This isn’t a personal vendetta, it’s..." Carn Liu started to say, but he was cut off.
"If this isn’t a personal vendetta, then what is? Roy already explained it. Jiang Chen killed one of The Fallen, which is a ritorious act. You claim he’s a traitor, but you need concrete evidence; otherwise, it’s slander."
Carn Liu sat down, fuming.
Roy couldn’t have cared less. Whether Jiang Chen was guilty or not wasn’t his concern. He was also aware that the Pettis Family was colluding with The Fallen! Of course, these matters weren’t brought into the open, but they were an open secret to everyone.
It was just that when Heroes discovered traces of The Fallen, the Pettis Family had no choice but to eliminate them, partly to protect their own interests. They just hadn’t expected this operation to reel in such a big fish.
A high-ranking mber announced, "Aside from this discussion, tomorrow is the great battle against the Corrupted God. I expect every clan to deploy its main forces to engage the enemy. We absolutely cannot afford to fail."
"Each clan must dispatch 10,000 troops to the battle. Any clan whose mbers achieve sufficient rit on the battlefield will be comnded, and their deeds duly recorded."
"Dismissed!"
「The next morning.」
Upon receiving Arlene’s orders, Jiang Chen took Angelina to the Secret Sword Legion, which consisted of eighty mbers in total.
Arlene was already well-prepared.
Arlene delivered the pre-battle pep talk, "This battle will be on an unprecedented scale. I expect every one of you to demonstrate your full strength and completely repel the Corrupted Heroes! We will prevail!"
The Heroes were fired up, shouting loudly,
"We will prevail!"
"We will prevail!"
"We will prevail!"
Is this the pre-battle pep talk? What a joke. Can’t she say sothing aningful? Like what equipnt will be rewarded, or what benefits can be gained? That’s what a pre-battle pep talk should involve, not so nonsense about hollow glory.
Arlene noticed Jiang Chen hadn’t spoken and thought to herself, puzzled, This kid is a bit aloof. Here I am, giving a pep talk, and he doesn’t utter a single word? He could at least pretend to be enthusiastic. Even if it’s just an act. This guy shows no consideration at all; it’s as if he doesn’t even acknowledge , the Legion Commander.
Sensing Arlene’s gaze, Jiang Chen raised his arm and shouted, "Down with imperialism! Down with the Defiled God Legion!"
Arlene coughed. "Alright, I understand your sentint."
Imperialism? What on earth is that?
"Everyone, follow out! Mount your Giant Dragons! We’re heading to the St. Nazaire Region!"
The group went outside and summoned their Giant Dragons.
All eighty mbers had Giant Dragons, and all of them were Flying Dragons. Arlene’s was also a rare Wind Attribute Dragon, possessing incredible speed.
Arlene looked back. "Jiang Chen, where’s your Covenant Beast?"
Jiang Chen summoned Olive. With a flash of white light, Olive appeared before everyone.
"Why did he summon a person?"
"Could his Covenant Beast be a human?"
"Impossible! Even if a Covenant Beast isn’t a dragon, it’s still so other kind of beast. I’ve never heard of a Covenant Beast being a little girl."
"Unless... it’s a shape-shifting Covenant Beast..."
"Could it be a dragon capable of shape-shifting?"
"Dragons capable of shape-shifting belong to the Royal Family of the Dragon Race! Could she be..."
At that mont, the entire Secret Sword Legion was stunned.
It was indeed a shape-shifting dragon! Within the Dragon Race, such beings were considered Kings. These Kings rarely beca soone’s Covenant Beast, as dragons are a proud and dignified species.
Arlene too was dumbfounded. A King among the Dragon Race—how was that possible? How on earth had Jiang Chen ford a covenant with her?
Olive looked at Jiang Chen with her large eyes. "Brother, why did you summon ?"
"Transform into a dragon. I need to ride you into battle."
"No."
"Why not?"
"It’s improper for n and won to be so close."
Jiang Chen was speechless.
What on earth? You’re a Covenant Beast! What do you an, ’improper for n and won to be so close’? Who taught you that? This cheeky girl certainly knows a lot.
Jiang Chen coughed. "Humor . Transform into a dragon. I’ll ride you into battle; everyone’s watching!"
"Oh, alright then!"
Olive transford instantly, becoming a small dragon about half a ter long.
"Co on then!"
Jiang Chen stared. Why is she so different from the others? How am I supposed to ride sothing so small? This is ridiculous! He then said to Olive, "Never mind. With those tiny limbs, I’m afraid I’d crush you. You need to grow up quickly, or how else will you fight alongside ?"
Olive nodded, then looked at the dumbfounded Giant Dragons.
She snorted. "What are you looking at? All of you, get down here!"
At Olive’s command, the Flying Dragons in the sky imdiately descended, bowing their heads before her. Then, with a flash, Olive re-entered the Covenant Space.
The others watched in envy.
"Dude, you’re incredible! You actually ford a covenant with a Royal of the Dragon Race!"
"That’s really one of the Royal Family! How could one of them possibly form a covenant with a human?"
"How did you manage it?"
"If that little girl fully matures, she’ll be incredibly formidable! Among dragons, their greatest strength is magic, especially Dragon Language Magic."
"I’m so jealous."
Jiang Chen looked back at Angelina. "What about yours?"
"Mine is like yours; it’s still small too!" Angelina replied, then summoned her Golden Dragon. The sight caused everyone’s jaws to drop in shock!
Everyone stared at the little dragon.
It was the legendary Giant Dragon of Destruction!
One had a Giant Dragon of Destruction, the other a Royal of the Dragon Race—this was just too outrageous!
At that mont, Arlene’s face twitched. These two are simply monstrous!
Arlene said, "Angelina, you can ride on my dragon’s back. Jiang Chen, you’ll ride with the Deputy Commander. Let’s head to the battlefield together."
Jiang Chen looked at the Deputy Commander. Hmm, she’s a girl. This could be good.
The Deputy Commander was nad Isabelle. Her Level was close to Arlene’s, and she also had a Wind Attribute Dragon. Isabelle smiled. "Co on up!"
"Alright."
Jiang Chen didn’t stand on ceremony. The group of Giant Dragons then flew towards the St. Nazaire Region.
「In the sky.」
Arlene asked, "Jiang Chen, how did you manage to subdue a Royal of the Dragon Race? Very few people can form a pact with the Royals, as they consider becoming a human’s mount the greatest humiliation."
"That little girl just shalessly latched onto ; I couldn’t do anything about it," Jiang Chen said with a helpless expression.
Arlene’s mouth twitched. That actually works? Why am I never that lucky?
