Sea of Death, countless yellow sands surge like ocean waves.
The fighter jets of the Strategy Bureau quickly passed by, but their speed was gradually slowing.
"No, the temperature is abnormal, the jets can't proceed further," the pilot said with a look of anxiety.
As a famous desert, logically, Sea of Death shouldn't have such abnormally high temperatures. This wasn't the normal desert temperature, but sothing more akin to a mutation.
"If we keep going, with this temperature rise, we might crash." The pilot added another comnt.
"Then stop, you go back and take a break." Changsun Shi glanced at Changsun Zhong, who was 'communicating' with the captured tahumans, trying to 'convince' them to work for him.
The whole process was fitting for the word 'reason'.
At least so far, most of the tahumans had been persuaded.
Except for ng Gua, they encountered other SSS-level tahumans who tried to capture them when they arrived. These tahumans were all arranged by monarchs from various countries. It was a rare opportunity, and they definitely wanted to control the future visitors.
Unfortunately, in terms of force, these SSS-level tahumans were worse than ants compared to Changsun Zhong, who easily took them down and forced them to follow along to deal with Wang Linchi.
Each one was indeed arrogant at the beginning. After all, they were SSS-level tahumans and high-level figures within the Strategy Bureau. But after being reasoned with by Changsun Zhong, now they're docile like quails.
Bullies are afraid of the strong, it's human nature.
"No need, I'll take care of it."
The fighter jets were preparing to land, but Changsun Zhong spoke up.
Activating his superpower, he reverted the fighter jet to its state before entering the Sea of Death, covering it with a spatial layer, forcibly isolating the effect of the high temperature. With dual-phase acceleration, the entire jet's speed increased by more than tenfold.
It's not that Changsun Zhong didn't want to use a higher acceleration factor, but because the jet itself couldn't withstand it.
If it weren't for persuading these tahumans as allies, they wouldn't even need the jets. Both he and Changsun Shi had spatial abilities and would reach faster.
"Is this what the ti ability looks like?" ng Gua muttered to himself quietly. This was simply defying the laws of nature. While so would need healing to recover, he just reversed everything?
Changsun Zhong didn't respond, but his brow furrowed.
He discovered the high temperature wasn't normal, but a problem with the entropy macro quantity in the Sea of Death, causing chaos in his space.
With his current abilities, he couldn't rely on his manpower alone to solve this problem.
"What's happening?" Changsun Shi whispered.
"The Sea of Death is experiencing..." Changsun Zhong rattled off a series of terms, none of which anyone present understood, ultimately summarizing: "Basically, the Sea of Death anchored the sun as a reference point, becoming an expanding black hole. If not promptly stopped, the entire world will be swallowed by the black hole."
"Oh, what nonsense are you spouting?" ng Gua snorted, unable to believe it.
Does he really think I'm stupid? The Sea of Death is just a desert, albeit the largest, hence its na.
Changsun Zhong, however, didn't care about ng Gua's ridicule. He continually analyzed the surrounding data to stabilize his spatial pathway.
The external temperature had beco extrely peculiar, and the whole environnt was distorted.
The yellow sands weren't affected but showed irregular movents.
"Wait, what is that in front???" The pilot exclaid in surprise.
Among the distortions, he saw an extrely clear oasis, and in the center of the oasis, there was a peculiar pyramid.
More importantly, atop the pyramid, a disc-like object was glowing.
Without hesitation, Changsun Zhong rushed forward, using space to zoom in, observing the oasis inside and out clearly.
Especially the disc atop the pyramid, to him, every detail was visible.
"That's... the sun," he murmured.
The patterns on the disc matched the sun's patterns exactly and were part of the ritual, now bound to the pyramid as an energy source.
Though spoken softly, everyone heard him.
"That's impossible! How could the sun be so small?" ng Gua imdiately countered. Everyone understood the sun is a celestial body, and if the sun is here, what is the thing in the sky?
"No wonder the Sea of Death turned into the collapsed world's black hole, supposedly because of this." Changsun Zhong swiftly comprehended everything.
"The sun isn't actually so small. But the opponent used spatial collapse techniques paired with information entanglent visualization technology for storage, so we perceive it as small."
"In reality, the sun maintains its original size."
"The Sea of Death's temperature anomaly, simply explained, is because we are nearing the sun, hence it's so hot."
"The sun on the pyramid is the real sun; the one in the sky is just a projected light source node."
Changsun Zhong calmly shared his data and hypotheses. Whether accurate or not wasn't important.
Because they were already here, there was no path back.
"If that's the sun, how can the oasis exist? Not to ntion water, even rocks should be lted." ng Gua thought he caught a flaw in Zhong's words, scoffing at talks of spatial collapse or information entanglent as re jargon ant to deceive.
They may lack education but they're not ignorant.
"It's unclear for now, but it can be confird that it might involve so dium needed for the opponent's ritual." Changsun Zhong didn't mind the skepticism. The matter was indeed unclear to him.
The opponent's powers leaned more towards ritual-type abilities, indicating a lack of specialization on Zhong's part.
"Ha, can't keep up the charade, can you?" ng Gua smirked coldly, thinking this future visitor was rely fearmongering, only aiming to seize benefits.
Changsun Zhong naturally ignored ng Gua's words; when a dog bites him, would he bite back?
Crack...
A sudden sound of breaking erged, followed by an influx of high temperatures that, although slight, made everyone but Changsun Zhong sweat profusely.
"What's going on? Your protection broke!" Surely, ng Gua cherished his life.
"Yes, we're breaching the firewall ford by external information blockade; this is a direct clash, damage is inevitable."
"But it's not a major issue, I can rewind... Oh, I can't rewind, the opponent has deployed a quantum field disorder status here, directly affecting my ti reversal ability," Changsun Zhong admitted sowhat awkwardly.
"Damn, what are you jabbering about? Fix the gap in the protection!" ng Gua cursed impatiently.
He didn't understand information blocking or disorder status. If this continued, he might die of dehydration.
Aboard the jet, his Earth Power ability was failing, unable to provide him with enough strength.
"I can't fix it, hang in there. The opponent's knowledge surpasses mine, I can ensure you don't die at most." Changsun Zhong patiently explained.
"What knowledge, I..."
ng Gua still wanted to retort, but Changsun Zhong had no ti; his pressure was mounting, so he rely silenced him.
The thod was simple, directly suppressing ng Gua's vocal structure, ensuring smooth breathing but preventing speech.
This situation startled several tahumans, especially observing ng Gua's seemingly controlled state.
tahumans aren't all physically strong. This ability to easily implant foreign objects in the human body is shockingly powerful.
For instance, any action on the heart or brain could directly cause death.
But for Changsun Zhong, this was trivial. Once tahumans excavated their understanding of superpowers, these small tricks would beco ineffective. They possessed superpowers reinforced by dinsional ascension and themselves would synchronize to a dinsional structure.
"Hold on, we're entering the oasis!" Changsun Zhong shouted, and the jet surged through the distortion, breaking into the oasis.
The previous high temperatures vanished, coolness enveloped the entire jet inside and out.
With that, ng Gua's speech restrictions were lifted, and now he could talk.
"From now, we'll be fighting for our lives. If anyone doesn't want to die, we must unite," Changsun Zhong sternly instructed the pilot to land the jet, simultaneously offering a half-warning to the tahumans.
