"This is the Tai Dynasty's..." Nangong Luo began, introducing the current Spaceti Rift to Wang Linchi.

He was the one who had co to form a team with Wang Linchi. His Heroic Spirit was rather unique: nad Zhou Yuanqing, he was the second Spirit Master in the Dajing Dynasty to achieve the "triple-firsts." Wang Linchi himself was the third.

Another mber was Zhao Tianquan. His Heroic Spirit, nad Qi Xuan, was the first Spirit Master in the Dajing Dynasty to achieve the "triple-firsts."

The trio's Heroic Spirits complented each other. Zhou Yuanqing excelled in offense, while Qi Xuan specialized in defense. Although the duo's fa, both past and present, could not compare to Wang Linchi's, and their quality was rely 'standout among the masses.'

However, unlike Zhang Lin and Li Zheng, who had advanced by riding on Wang Linchi's coattails, Zhou Yuanqing and Qi Xuan were of genuine 'standout among the masses' quality.

A Heroic Spirit of Unparalleled Quality was not an easy encounter. Under normal circumstances, most were at the 'one in a hundred' level.

"So, our mission is to kill these Devils?" Wang Linchi asked.

There was no plotline to follow; they could just start killing imdiately upon entry.

"Yes, but at present, Devils cannot be effectively killed. We can only destroy the humans they parasitize. Once the human dies, it counts as having exterminated the Devil," Nangong Luo explained.

"I see," Wang Linchi acknowledged.

Since it was Wang Linchi's first ti entering a Spaceti Rift, Nangong Luo explained thoroughly. In essence, it ant killing every living creature they encountered.

Humans could also be killed. After all, they weren't truly alive, and killing them would yield corresponding Awakening Materials.

They were, after all, just illusory fragnts of ti and space. Even if they encountered them again, they wouldn't recognize each other, so killing them had no real consequences.

If soone were kind-hearted enough to try to save them, they would likely end up being betrayed or dragged down, as Nangong Luo and Zhao Tianquan had experienced on several occasions.

"Any other questions?" Zhao Tianquan asked, then added, "If not, we can begin fighting."

"No more questions. Let's get started." As soon as Wang Linchi finished speaking, his Heroic Spirit, Wang Linchi, imdiately activated its abilities, and a multitude of support skills were instantly deployed.

Both n felt the amplifying effects, their expressions changing slightly; they truly hadn't expected such powerful results.

"Your Heroic Spirit ability, is it an entire lineage?" Zhao Tianquan imdiately asked.

Normal Heroic Spirit abilities usually had only one effect, unless it was a complete lineage, which would then form a skill tree.

"Isn't yours? I thought the Heroic Spirit abilities of the Dajing Dynasty were all Spirit Law?" Wang Linchi asked curiously.

"It is Spirit Law, but it only has one effect. Perhaps it's because your Heroic Spirit's quality has reached 'Unparalleled in the World'," Nangong Luo speculated.

The Heroic Spirits of the Dajing Dynasty were more fixed. Their Talents were generally tied to Spirit Bones and Spirit Veins, and the effects were all the sa, aside from differing degrees of amplification. Unless one possessed an Innate Talent ford by three hundred and sixty-five Spirit Bones or a nine-zhang-nine Spirit Vein, the Talent itself would not change.

Their abilities, on the other hand, were their personal Spirit Law.

As for non-Spirit Masters, it was impossible for them to achieve any reputation in the Dajing Dynasty. Consequently, the vast majority of Dajing Dynasty Heroic Spirits followed the sa template.

Of course, Wang Linchi was not part of this majority.

"It's also possible that your Heroic Spirit is unique. At least, I haven't heard of any Dajing Dynasty Heroic Spirit having abilities from a lineage system until now," Zhao Tianquan added.

The battle had actually already begun. There was no need for the Summoners themselves to participate; they could just let their Heroic Spirits handle it. What was the point of Summoners rushing in? Their strength was inherently inferior to their Heroic Spirits. Charging in would not only be of little help but would likely beco a burden.

The Heroic Spirit engaged in combat was Zhou Yuanqing, while Qi Xuan maintained a protective barrier around the three Summoners.

Heroic Spirit Wang Linchi was also inside the barrier, casting various control-type abilities from a distance.

"It's just our bad luck. The Heroic Spirits from the Jing, Heng, and Xuan dynasties are all quite weak. It gets a bit better in the Tai Dynasty; although they are all monks, they are bona fide Transcendents," Nangong Luo sighed.

"Actually, Dajing's Heroic Spirits aren't that bad; they at least possess actual combat capabilities. The other two dynasties are truly in a tragic state."

"The Demon Gods of the Heng Dynasty, whether in Talents or abilities, require faith. But where in this era can one find faith for a host of Demons and Ghosts?"

"The Charms of the Xuan Dynasty are extraordinarily powerful, but the ti and materials needed to create them are downright crippling, not to ntion their low yield."

"What's even more ridiculous is that the Charms of the Xuan Dynasty only thrived in the first half of its era. In the latter half, it declined, and its people beca a group ard with antique firearms, their full strength completely restricted."

Zhao Tianquan also voiced his opinion on this. However, there was no helping it. Between commoners and Summoners, even if the latter underperford, they still belonged to the privileged class. That's why many people who failed to summon a Heroic Spirit in the first six months would then choose the last three dynasties to try their luck.

Unfortunately, most of them lost this gamble, as they failed to summon one. Those who succeeded, however, won the bet.

"Well, it can't be helped. The first six dynasties are all stronger than the last three. Naturally, the older, the more powerful," Wang Linchi said, though in reality, he didn't care much.

The reason was simple: at this stage, no one had successfully nurtured the Heroic Spirits of the latter three dynasties. This was due to the difficulty in their early-stage advancent, leading people to either give up or find it impossible to progress.

If the Demon God Heroic Spirits of the Heng Dynasty possessed sufficient faith, they could potentially manifest the God Realm itself. Combined with devotees, Temple Masters, and the unique nature of Divine Power, their strength would undoubtedly make them the most powerful category of Heroic Spirits. Sadly, they couldn't gather enough faith, rendering them effectively useless.

The Charms and firearms from the first half of the Xuan Dynasty were, in essence, not battle-oriented Heroic Spirits but rather lifestyle-oriented ones. The Charms and firearms they produced could be used by ordinary people, yet their power was consistent with that wielded by Heroic Spirits and could fully be used to cultivate the combat power of ordinary people.

This was especially true for firearms-related Heroic Spirits, most of the renowned ones being creators. So, as long as they were properly nurtured and given enough knowledge, these types of Heroic Spirits could indeed build cha from scratch.

Unfortunately, due to the Federation's regulations, the Xuan Dynasty's Heroic Spirits had no room for developnt. Without the support of corresponding Talents and abilities, they were essentially useless.

As for the Spirit Master Heroic Spirits of the Jing Dynasty, they were considered to have the lowest Potential and limited abilities. It was only the augntations provided by Spirit Bones, Spirit Veins, and Spirit Law that gave them an advantage in battle, which is why they had survived.

The Federation had also considered tapping into the potential of these three dynasties' Heroic Spirits, but they simply couldn't afford to sustain them.

It wasn't that they particularly wanted to focus on combat. The main issue was a lack of combat personnel; without them, the Spaceti Rifts and rift entities would have obliterated the Federation long ago. Survival had to be prioritized, which ultimately led to the current situation.

The trio's conversation grew increasingly in-depth until the battle concluded.

"All done! With your help, our combat efficiency improved by at least seventy percent," Zhao Tianquan said, beaming. He knew their efficiency would increase, but he hadn't expected it to be by so much.

"It's still early. Want to grind so more?" Nangong Luo proposed.

"Sure," Wang Linchi naturally agreed. After all, he wasn't fighting; he could just stand there chatting and reap the rewards.

Many spaceti fragnts were stacked within the Spaceti Rift. Each entry led into a completely new spaceti fragnt. Every day, Summoners brought their Heroic Spirits to clear out these rift entities.

This wasn't so ga instance; if these rift entities weren't cleared out, they would genuinely escape from the Spaceti Rift. Moreover, their numbers had to be controlled. If too many accumulated, it would cause a Spaceti Rift fragnt to rupture. Then, it wouldn't just be one or two rift entities escaping, but an assault ford by all of them.

Summoners actually had an annual quota for how many rift entities they needed to kill. There were exceptions, however, such as reaching a certain level or having a special status that granted exemption. Wang Linchi fell into the latter category; his special status as a councilor freed him from this service.

However, he couldn't be exempted from conscription.

Summoners weren't particularly fond of becoming councilors. Although it granted them a certain status, it also ca with corresponding responsibilities, such as handling various affairs. A Summoner Councilor like Wang Linchi—who controlled new energy and then delegated all his responsibilities, acting like a hands-off manager—was the only one of his kind.

If other Summoner Councilors dared to do the sa, they would likely be politically sidelined and made into scapegoats.

If those political creatures truly had any conscience, they wouldn't have conspired to seize Wang Linchi's new energy company back then; they would have supported it.

If the council truly had no personal interests and was entirely devoted to the Federation, then none of Wang Linchi's plans could have succeeded. He would have only been left to swallow the bitter fruit himself.

Therefore, even when Summoners beca councilors, many were still targeted. After all, Summoners also operated within the rules and wouldn't break them.
