Upon closer inspection, the creature didn’t seem to possess much intelligence; it only followed simple commands.
Currently, there were three command modes: Attack, Assist, and Smart. In Attack mode, it would engage any monster it encountered. Assist mode ant it would only use Skills. Smart mode was slightly better: it would join the attack if the Player was fighting a monster or being attacked by one. Otherwise, the Golden Warding Beast would just fly around foolishly.
Normally, the default was set to Smart mode.
The Ga System didn’t answer Wang Linchi’s question; it was unclear whether it was too busy or simply didn’t want to.
Wang Linchi reached out, snatched the Golden Warding Beast, and prepared to tuck it into his bosom. This thing constantly flew around him, giving him an inexplicable sense of déjà vu, as if he were a pile of dung and it was a fly.
I initially suspect all pets share the sa underlying code, just with different skins and modified attribute data.
Once tucked into his bosom, the Golden Warding Beast quieted down, as if passively entering a dormant state.
