[Transformation: Randomly transforms into an Excellent level Soul Kind]

Wang Linchi managed to get his hands on Tianshin Grass quite easily. This was mainly because he had the identity card of the lab’s head.

Without that card, he wouldn’t have been able to browse all the confidential information. When the lab head was leaving, Wang Linchi knocked him unconscious and hid him in the bathroom.

Killing him was out of the question. Wang Linchi had noticed that each researcher carried a monitor. If their heart stopped or their heart rate beca problematic, the monitor’s positioning feature would activate. Normally, no one would be watching the monitors, but an alarm would definitely trigger a check. Therefore, to get what he wanted smoothly, Wang Linchi had to refrain from killing him for now.

"Why is this thing so discriminatory? The increase depends on strength," Wang Linchi complained. Ten years for the White Porcelain Level was quite significant.

But on second thought, even soone at the White Porcelain Level couldn’t withstand the extre toxicity of Tianshin Grass. Consuming it ant certain death. Those at the Black Iron Level fared slightly better, with only a slim chance of survival. Those at the Mountain Copper Level wouldn’t die, but they could only consu it once, and it only added a month to their lifespan.

Wang Linchi swallowed one. With his Physique, he didn’t have to worry about poisoning himself to death.

However, after it entered his stomach, he felt nothing. He picked up another stalk, only to discover that consuming more was useless.

This was incredibly frustrating.

"Damn it, I’m only at the Black Iron Level! Why isn’t it working?!" Wang Linchi felt his composure crumbling. His spiritual power was at the Elite Gold Level, and his Physique was at the Mountain Copper Level, but he was genuinely still at the Black Iron Level; he hadn’t broken through yet.

"You can’t be serious! Even if it’s a compromise, it should at least work for soone at the Mountain Copper Level, right?"

He was too strong, so the Tianshin Grass couldn’t enhance him at all; it didn’t even increase his lifespan one bit. The principle behind Tianshin Grass’s lifespan increase was based on the consur’s strength.

"I can’t possibly resort to drinking the GOD virus stock solution, can I? That stuff is definitely potent, but drinking it would be fatal..."

The GOD virus stock solution was also Excellent Level, with effects similar to Tianshin Grass. However, the negative effect of poisoning was replaced by ’resistance to zombification.’

Success ant gaining lifespan; failure ant turning into a zombie, permanently losing one’s Awakener status, and being confined to the Secret Realm for endless cycles of reincarnation.

Of course, high side effects ca with high returns. Even soone at the Secret Silver Level could gain one day of lifespan from it, though it was also a one-ti effect. Furthermore, there was a one-in-a-million chance to gain a potential position, exclusively for those with five Potential or less.

Among Excellent Level items, this was practically unheard of. If it were available to those at the Secret Silver Level, they’d probably be consuming it three tis a day.

Once the GOD virus stock solution was enhanced, its side effects also affected those at the Mountain Copper Level; one misstep and they could turn into a zombie. However, it had no effect on those at the Secret Silver Level, so they could drink it like water, gambling on that one-in-a-million chance.

Of course, this was all premised on having enough GOD virus stock solution.

But where could one find such a large quantity? The GOD virus stock solution was extracted from Tianshin Grass. Across the twelve vast underground levels of the Dawn Watch Company, there weren’t even 1,000 Tianshin Grass plants. It was far from enough to be consud like a staple food.

This one-in-a-million chance didn’t an that drinking a million vials of the virus solution would guarantee success. Each vial carried a one-in-a-million probability; each attempt was a fresh roll of the dice. If your Luck was good, you might succeed with the first vial. If your Luck was bad, you could drink them all and still get nothing.

Wang Linchi had no intention of drinking it. The threat the GOD virus stock solution posed to him was far greater than that of Tianshin Grass. He definitely didn’t want to beco a zombie.

However, if he could research it, it might be interesting to understand the principle that allowed the GOD virus stock solution to enhance potential positions.

"Thinking about it, the Dragon Ball is incredibly powerful. No wonder it’s Legendary Level; it guarantees a 100% increase of one potential position," Wang Linchi couldn’t help but sigh.

After scavenging everything, he planned to head to the thirteenth underground level.

The eleventh level was the GOD virus laboratory, and the twelfth level housed the Tianshin Grass—the origin and key to everything. Therefore, the thirteenth level must contain sothing even more precious or secret.

He swiped the identity card, but a voice prompt announced, "Insufficient access rights."

What on earth is down there that even the head of the GOD virus laboratory doesn’t have sufficient clearance? Wang Linchi was dumbfounded. Could it be that only the board mbers or shareholders are qualified to enter?

Wang Linchi frowned. With the identity card he possessed, eting the board mbers and shareholders required following procedures: first, an announcent; then, a review; and finally, temporary authorization granted to his card. Only then could a eting occur. Otherwise, strict isolation asures were in place, unless he decided to resort to violence.

"Director Xue, what are you doing heading to the thirteenth underground level?"

The voice of the security director ca through the surveillance system. He didn’t question why ’Director Xue’ was lingering on the twelfth level so late—perhaps he was working—but heading to the thirteenth level was an entirely different matter.

"Is an application required?" Wang Linchi retorted.

The other party paused noticeably before replying, "An application must be submitted twenty-four hours in advance. Only after review by the shareholders’ committee can entry be granted."

Wang Linchi nodded. No wonder I couldn’t get in. This definitely ans there’s a big secret down there.

He realized that simply swiping his card—even though it failed—had imdiately alerted the security director.

"Alright, I’ll submit an application tomorrow. And then..." Before Wang Linchi could finish speaking, Saint Master materialized and slamd his fist onto the elevator.

This scene left the security director dumbfounded. He quickly recovered, pressed the alarm, and mobilized personnel to intercept them.

After smashing the elevator, Saint Master grabbed Wang Linchi and jumped directly down to the thirteenth underground level.

Taking the stairs would have been too troubleso. For Saint Master, it was rely a matter of two punches.

"Go ahead and destroy the rest of the elevator shaft too. Let them run all the way down," Wang Linchi thought. This is the thirteenth underground level. Even if they’re fast, running down here will take them so ti, not to ntion tiring them out.

Upon entering the thirteenth underground level, they found it was constructed entirely from so unknown alloy.

"Damn it, don’t tell we’ve walked into a boss room!" Wang Linchi suddenly realized. Sotis the lowest level doesn’t hold treasure; it might be used to imprison extrely vicious monsters. The other levels weren’t built like this; this construction was clearly ant to contain sothing.

The entire structure was essentially fully automated, designed for remote isolation by personnel.

Consequently, Wang Linchi encountered nurous chanical defenses, obviously controlled by security personnel. However, Saint Master simply used the Dragon Talisman, unleashing breath attacks one after another, instantly wrecking all of them.

"The security here is a bit odd. Strong, yet weak..." Wang Linchi comnted.

The strength lay in the overall construction, while the weakness was in its defensive capabilities. It seed designed purely for containnt. Otherwise, if they had installed automated weaponry like machine guns and sniper cannons, subjecting intruders to a barrage of firepower, even he wouldn’t have had an easy ti.

"It needs another verification? This is too troubleso," Wang Linchi said, looking at the alloy door. It required not only an identity card but also remote secondary authorization from the shareholders’ committee.

Hearing Wang Linchi’s complaint, Saint Master strode over and punched the door. His fist pierced through, but the door didn’t shatter, likely due to significant investnt in its materials and construction.

After several more resounding punches, he finally battered open a hole large enough for Wang Linchi to pass through.

"Having brute strength is really convenient," Wang Linchi mused. He found Saint Master, this substitute, incredibly useful; it saved him an imnse amount of trouble.

"Why is there another door?" Wang Linchi had just stepped through when he looked up and saw yet another door. They were now in so kind of corridor.

The next mont, a grid of red lasers materialized, sweeping towards Wang Linchi at high speed.

Saint Master instantly shielded Wang Linchi, using both the Dragon Talisman and Pig Talisman to destroy the laser emitters directly.

An explosion followed. Protected by Saint Master, Wang Linchi was unhard. With the emitters destroyed, the laser grid naturally dissipated.

"It seems the laser grid is no match for the Pig Talisman," Wang Linchi remarked. Then, Saint Master punched through the door at the end of the corridor and led Wang Linchi inside without hesitation.

As soon as they entered, Wang Linchi was hit by the strong sll of disinfectant.

Inside was not what Wang Linchi had imagined—no monsters or treasures. Instead, it resembled a sterile hospital room.

Just then, nurous security personnel rushed in and imdiately attacked Wang Linchi and Saint Master.

"Talk about timing," Wang Linchi couldn’t help but chuckle. Saint Master then turned, transford into a colossal figure, and charged at the security personnel.
