Chapter 109: So What If You Can Predict It?
“Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang…”
The blades were attacking at high speeds.
Hobrick, who was upstairs, had finally left the bathroom,. With a newspaper in his hand, he looked down at Locke and shouted, “Brat! Stop playing! If this continues, my place will collapse! If that happens, I’m going to live in your dormitory!”
Those words were highly effective.
“No! Please don’t!” Locke’s expression imdiately froze. He then ordered Gale Wings to launch Hurricane Piercer at Clent!
Flying Slashers imdiately turned around and blocked the attack for Clent!
“Brat! You’ve already seen how fast my Flying Slashers are! They can even predict your skill in advance! It’s useless to do that!” Clent grinned and exclaid.
“So what if you can predict them?” Locke responded while digging his ears.
Then, he imdiately turned Infinite Fire Elent into a flaming spear!
“Hehe, looks like you’re underestimating ! You can’t match my speed in aerial attacks! Just watch as my Flying Slashers break your spear apart!”
Clent’s Flying Slashers were shining with an epic orange color. After charging for a short while, they then launched towards Locke!
As they flew, the sonic boom indicating that the sound barrier had been broken rang out.
It was so powerful that it had sent debris launching off the ground!
A few students with poor ntal fortitude had already covered their eyes.
Locke snorted lightly and raised his spear to intercept the blades!
“Slice it apart!” Due to the unique ability of his Battle Beast, Clent already knew that Locke would not adjust his spear’s trajectory.
Flying Slashers were very intelligent. It flew to a higher position and slashed down at the fire elental spear!
“Clang! Clang!”
Clent’s eyes involuntarily widened. He did not expect his epic-tier Battle Beasts to be so easily repelled!
Moreover, there was not a single scratch on the fire elental’s body!
‘Is this the power of a rose gold beast?’
Suddenly, a long spear was rapidly heading his way!
“Flying Slashers!”
Clent reacted quickly and imdiately ordered Flying Slasher to intercept the attack!
“Bang!”
Although they had managed to make contact with the spear, the heaven-defying power of the spear had shattered one of the blades of Flying Slashers!
The long spear then struck Clent’s collar and pinned him onto the wall behind him!
“Wow! Fast and powerful!”
“It seems that in the face of absolute power, clairvoyance and speed is useless…”
Two students who were watching the battle unfold were quite perceptive. They imdiately understood Locke’s way of winning.
Locke looked relaxed. He walked up to Clent, who could not touch the spear because of his short stature, and said, “Hey! If you want to co down, you have to pay 50 million!”
“Wasn’t it 30 million?”
‘Good lord, in just a few minutes, he’s already hiked up the price?’
“Look at this ss! This area is full of ancient buildings! You are destroying history! 50 million is considered rather cheap!”
In truth, Locke had no intention to kill him, he just wanted to teach the baldy a lesson.
“Dammit, you silly child! This damage is worth at least 60 million in compensation fees!” Hobrick expressed his disappointnt by lowering and shaking his head.
Clent was hanging on the wall in a very sorry state. As the students began to make fun of him, his face gradually turned into a shade of red.
“Alright, Alright! Put down first! I’ll give you a cheque!” Clent could feel that his remaining Flying Slasher was already heavily injured and it was temporarily out of commission. Helplessly, he could only agree to Locke’s request.
Locke crossed his arms and said, “My spear is pretty sturdy. You can write the cheque up there!”
Although it was an amount that no commoner would ever dare to dream of, it was still nothing to Clent, who was in service to the Frank family for many years.
He quickly took out his cheque book and filled in the numbers before throwing it to Locke.
Lil’ White then used Spatial Movent to snatch the cheque from mid-air!
“Mm! At least you’re honest…” After confirming that the numbers were correct, Locke called back Lil’ Fla.
Following that, a heavy thud could be heard, as Clent had crashed onto the ground.
“Ouch…” Clent rubbed his aching buttocks and glared at Locke angrily.
“What? Are you still mad? Do you want to fork out another 50 million?” Locke put the cheque into his pocket.
At this mont, the sound of a helicopter ca from high in the sky. Joey held the loudspeaker and shouted at Clent, “What’s wrong with you? What took you so long? Let’s go!”
Clent glared at Locke and ran to grab the rope ladder that was dropped down by the helicopter.
“Goodbye! Freddy!”
Clent shouted angrily, “It’s Frank! Viscount Frank…”
At this mont, the three directors also rushed to the scene. After observing the situation, they roughly knew what had happened.
“John! Are you alright? Your lungs are still very weak!” Trista noticed that John’s expression was a little ugly.
Diana adjusted her black-rimd glasses, looked at the helicopter that was far away and said, “There will be a battle between us sooner or later!”
“Way to be in the lilight again, kid!” Jacques patted Locke’s shoulder, and then shouted to the students present, “Alright! Those who should go to class, go back to class! Be careful or else you might enter detention!”
Realizing that the new Director of Education ant business, the students quickly dispersed.
“Kid! Give the cheque!” Hobick asked Locke for the cheque in front of everyone.
Locke rolled his eyes. “What cheque?”
“Don’t play dumb! It’s in your left pocket!”Hobrick said as he ran downstairs, ready to snatch it.
Locke ran away. “How about I pay for the repairs to your office?”
“Cut the crap! I’m the highest authority in the school! You should listen to !”
“You old geezer! Why are you so greedy?! I really can’t figure it out! What do you need so much money for?”
“None of your business! Hand it over…”
When the instructors saw the two of them chasing after him, beads of sweat imdiately dripped down their foreheads.
“This old man is really greedy…”
“Sigh, it’s too disgraceful…”
“As the new Director of Education, I have to make sure that the principal influences no one else with his habits…”
“Forget it, I’ll find workers to repair the wall first. Otherwise, if the lighthouse leaks at night, the old man will co to my place! I can’t stand his snoring…”
“More importantly, the principal has always been frugal. Why does he need so much money? I’d like to know…”
In the end, after a lengthy and “friendly” negotiation, Hobrick had managed to take away 20 million from the deal.
