Exoffus hadn't forgotten about Alister since he and those two human traitors were watching Alister's battle against the Tentacle Saint while they were in the dinsional gap.
Since there were only a few Transcendent Saints in the human race, Exoffus couldn't forget Alister, the Fourth Transcendent Saint of the Human Race whose title was proclaid by Alister himself as the Sword Saint.
Exoffus was the Third Transcendent Saint of the human race and he greatly attached importance to those who could beco a Transcendent Saint since they were a powerhouse that the human race badly needed.
The first ti that Exoffus encountered Alister, he knew that Alister was soone who was decisive and would only do things that he was certain of. He also noticed how cautious Alister was when Alister didn't expose his power to save and prevent Margaret from being raped by that tentacle monster.
With how steady and cautious Alister was, Exoffus looked forward to this junior of his surpassing him and being the first human to achieve Transcendent Overlord power.
However…
'Isn't Alister's growth too fast? Although I estimated that it would only be a matter of ti before he beca a Transcendent Overlord, it seems that his power isn't even at Transcendent Overlord and might have already surpassed it!'

When that absurd thought ca into Exoffus' mind, he gulped and looked at Alister in a different light.
'As long as the human race has a Demigod, the human race can finally survive and even prevent the Technology World from having malicious thoughts towards Earth. A Demigod can deter another Demigod and even several Overlords wouldn't be able to threaten a Demigod.'
'If Alister had truly beco an existence above Transcendent Overlord, I dare not say that the Technology World can be defeated, but at least Earth can deter the Technology World and have so developnt ti.'
After Exoffus estimated that Alister was an existence at the level of a Demigod, Exoffus imdiately thought of Alister's offer to him in becoming Alister's subordinate.
Kneeling on one knee, Exoffus decisively and solemnly declared, "As long as you can guarantee the survival of Earth and the human race, I won't hesitate to beco your sharpest sword. Even if it's to charge to the depths of the otherworld, I won't hesitate to risk my life if it's for the sake of the human race's survival and your great cause!"
Hearing Exoffus' declaration, Alister was cautious as always and activated his Eye of Judgent as well as All-Seeing Heavenly Eyes.
From his Eye of Judgent, Exoffus' essence was seen as "good" and it was by his definition of good. aning, that those who were good in Alister's eyes were those who would be useful to him and wouldn't threaten him.
Furthermore, from what his All-Seeing Heavenly Eyes could perceive, Exoffus' words were seen through as the "truth".
His All-Seeing Heavenly Eyes could see through almost anything, even the truth, and lies in one's words. Because of that, Alister could discern whether soone was lying to him and could, therefore, deal with such a liar accordingly depending on the situation.
At first, Alister thought that Exoffus would refuse.
Don't look at Exoffus being weaker than Alister. Exoffus used to be the strongest of the Transcendent World and most strong n especially those who stood at the top would disdain becoming the subordinate of soone.
After all, if one always surrendered to those who were stronger than them, then wouldn't they keep losing the chance of becoming the strongest?
Being always subdued by soone stronger than them, it would be difficult to beco the strongest.
However, Exoffus' case was a rare one. Exoffus truly cared about the human race and the Transcendent World so he didn't care if he was the strongest or not, as long as the human race wasn't threatened by foreign races.
Exoffus only beca the strongest so that he could do his part in protecting the human race from those invaders. He was a rare human being whose heart was pure.
Because of that, even when the Monster Overlord and the Monster Saints invited him to defect and co to their side, Exoffus refused while those two human saints didn't.
Exoffus didn't trust those foreign invaders and he knew that even if he accepted their invitation, he would have to be wary of being betrayed by them.
Exoffus awaited this day of soone surpassing him. He had already prepared himself to beco the sharpest sword of whoever surpassed him as long as that person's goal was to protect the human race or at least defeat the foreign invaders.
Of course, if the human who surpassed him had ill intentions towards Earth and the human race, then Exoffus wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice his life just to bring that person down with him to the afterlife.
However, after hearing that the person who surpassed him had the goal of defeating the Technology World, Exoffus was relieved and didn't hesitate to accept Alister as his boss.
With his absolute mind superpower, Alister could see through Exoffus' thoughts and he knew that Exoffus was a trustworthy subordinate.
After all, Alister never planned on harming this world since there was no point for an emperor to have no subjects under him.
So after accepting Exoffus as his subordinate and knowing that Exoffus was sincere, Alister didn't hesitate to pass on pure mana to Exoffus' mana core.
Alister could see that Exoffus only needed just an opportunity and as long as that opportunity was obtained, Exoffus could break through and beco a Transcendent Overlord.
Alister's mana was from a Six-Digit World which was higher in quality than the Transcendent World's mana.
So after receiving Alister's pure mana, Exoffus was astonished to witness that the bottleneck he dreaded was easily broken and he successfully beca a Transcendent Overlord!
After perceiving the power in his body, Exoffus didn't forget who gave him this opportunity and imdiately kneeled on one knee and lowered his head to Alister, "Boss, thank you for giving this opportunity to beco a Transcendent Overlord! I won't hesitate to do everything for your cause!"
