Hearing Arctos Daemon's provocation, Alister playfully asked, "Zanna, there is a bug here waiting to be squashed. He is too weak to even see through our power yet he dared to jump here like a clown. Beat him up and seal him."
When Zanna heard Alister's words, she exited the royal carriage.
Afterward, a powerful pressure was released from Zanna's body as the world laws and mana surrounding her were in a chaotic state.
The smirk on Arctos' face turned into a frown after noticing the power contained within Zanna's body.
Although he was confident that he wouldn't be killed, Arctos estimated that if he wasn't careful enough, he would undoubtedly be sealed by Zanna.
Especially with how Zanna's chaos elent caused the world laws to be in a chaotic state. The degree of effect on the world laws was even far superior compared to Arctos using his pride to control the world laws and reality.
In other words, Zanna's control over the world laws and reality were far superior to Arctos's. That alone ant that even if Arctos used his pride energy to control reality, it would be negated by Zanna's chaos elent.
Zanna might not be able to control reality as proficiently as the pride authority, but she could cause reality to be in a state of chaos and even destroy it if she was willing to.
A part of reality would be destroyed by her chaos elent but even so, the World Will wouldn't sit still and do nothing. So even if a part of it was destroyed, it would be restored by the World Will.
Zanna's power was superior to Arctos so Arctos could never control reality and the world laws as long as Zanna caused the surrounding world laws and reality into a state of chaos.
Knowing that, Arctos felt a sense of dread and fear before he even fought against Zanna.
'At first, I only thought these two are just average grand-level powerhouses. Now that I think about it, why would average grand-level powerhouses visit the Demonic Impure Land for no reason?'
'From their words and expressions, it seed that their purpose for visiting the Demonic Impure Land was to defeat and seal .'
'They must have already known that the heroes were eliminated and part of my curse was liberated. Because of that, they already anticipated my departure from the Demonic Impure Land and they wanted to eliminate before I beca a threat to the world.'
'As expected of these ancient powerhouses, they are already accustod to Demon Kings such as myself leaving and causing trouble in Fantasia.'
'Sigh, when will the demon race break free from this damn curse? We are reduced to re tools for that damn goddess' faith power generator.'
Knowing that he would inevitably be sealed by Alister and Zanna, the Demon King of Pride was aggrieved but he knew that he couldn't do anything.
Even if he struggled, at most, it would only delay his sealing. He wasn't blind enough to not see the gap between their power.
Arctos knew that his pride energy wasn't enough to bypass the chaotic state imposed by Zanna's chaos elent.
And of course, Zanna's chaos elent and level of power were so iconic and well-known that Arctos could already guess her true identity. It was the main reason why he felt that there wasn't much hope in defeating her let alone leaving the Demonic Impure Land without being sealed by them.
After knowing Zanna's identity, Arctos didn't dare to underestimate Alister as well. After all, leaving aside his current impression of Alister being a human coachman, the fact that Zanna listened to Alister's words ant that the two of them were of equal status or Alister's status was above Zanna's.
That alone made Arctos feel despair and fear. He couldn't understand why his demon race had to bear such a curse to the point they would be hated and targeted by the entire world.
However, as the Demon King of Pride, Arctos' pride wouldn't allow him to admit defeat even if he knew that he couldn't defeat his opponents.
If he admitted defeat just because he couldn't defeat his opponent, Arctos wouldn't be worthy of his title as the Demon King of Pride!
With that in mind, Arctos decisively took action first and attacked Zanna!
Multi-colored wings appeared behind his back which were made out of pride energy.
The rainbow-like wings materialized from his pride energy had trendously increased Arctos' speed as he appeared a few ters away from Zanna.
"Pride Wings!"
After materializing his pride wings, Arctos used his pride energy to form a pair of gauntlets on both of his fists.
Afterward, Arctos punched his fist toward Zanna, aiming for her head!
"Pride Fist!"
Arctos's fist was only a ter away from Zanna before it seed to hit an invisible barrier.
In fear, Arctos' eye shrank as he felt the invisible wall blocking his fist turn into a at shredder. The chaos elent being constantly generated around Zanna was like ravaging Arctos' fist.
The pride gauntlet created by Arctos seed to be as fragile as glass, causing it to shatter and disintegrate as soon as it touched Zanna's chaos-attributed aura and mana.
As if that wasn't enough, the chaos-attributed aura and mana invaded Arctos' body from his fist towards his entire body.
With the chaos elent ravaging Arctos' body from both inside and outside, Arctos imploded and his entire body disappeared. Arctos was destroyed into nothingness.
But even when Arctos was destroyed to the point that his soul and physical flesh were reduced to nothingness, Zanna didn't celebrate as she knew it was far from over.
Sure enough, ti seed to have rewound and Arctos' body appeared out of nowhere in the sa location where he had died.
Zanna complained to Alister, "See? This is why I hate fighting against these cockroaches. The so-called strongest Demon King of Pride in history attempted to rely on consuming my energy to defeat but my chaos energy will never be depleted."
"Now, this current generation of Demon King of Pride is still weaker than his predecessor yet he dared to fight against . How ignorant!"
