This incident just frustrated Jake. He had the knowledge of his previous world, but here he was, stuck in the tutorial village!
He was spending too much ti on this. He knew that it was worth it, but he could not afford to waste this much ti.
So, he logged onto World Online.
[Mission Completed. Exit the ga for at least eight hours. (8/8)]
[356 exp gained.]
Jake was taken aback. He did not think that he would get exp for logging out of the ga. This was probably the only ti that soone got exp for not playing!
He put that aside and ran to the sword master. Richard was debriefing another group of newcors. The batches would keep coming for the next few months, so he would be very, very busy for a while.
After the players ran after the wooden swords, Jake approached Richard.
"You are well rested. Sothing troubles you, but I expect it will only help your cause. I think it is ti for you to embark on your final quest. And this will take you out of the tutorial village. This shall be the last ti that we et."
Richard seed like he knew Jake's thoughts. He finally put an end to the quests, and took out one final one.
"Co follow ." Richard walked into the hut, and Jake followed.
Richard took a sword that was resting on a mantle, and stroked it gently. In his eyes, Jake could see longing.
"This is my sword. The sword that allowed to go from a normal knight to the sword of misery. But it is wasted on now. I have been aning to find soone who can use it to its true potential. And now, I have found that soone." Richard looked at Jake.
"Bear it well."
Jake took the sword, and scanned it for a second.
[Na - Sword of Misery
Grade - Legendary
Level Requirent - No requirent
Level - 1]
He saw this, and almost toppled over.
"This is a legendary? No way! I thought that this was an epic equipnt. Wait a minute! The class quest that I am going to get is going to be for a legendary quest?" at this mont, Jake finally felt that everything that he did was worth it.
He gripped the sword and looked at Richard.
"What do you wish for to do?" he asked.
"Go to death canyon with this sword. It should be fairly easy. The sword is bound to you. It will never drop when you are killed, and it will always co back when you leave it. But rember. You must not let it rust. Feed it with victory." Richard said.
Jake understood what he said saying. He needed to battle more with the sword so that it would level up. But still, a legendary equipnt was sothing that he had never seen, and only ever heard of.
Only the top rankers would have sothing like this. If one counted, in the ten years of Jake's past life in World Online, only four legendary items were ever uncovered, and only two of them were weapons!
That ant that in his hands was a ticket to the top!
[Class Change Quest: Proceed to Death Canyon and et the Hollow Knight.
Quest difficulty: SSS
Quest ti limit: 10 days
Accept: Y/N]
Jake's hand did not even hesitate. It accepted the mission, and the pop up disappeared.
"I have a new mission now. But to go to the death canyon at such a low level? This is going to be a little tough." Jake thought.
He swiped his hand next to the sword of misery and equipped it. A sheath appeared behind him so that he could put away the sword.
Then, he looked at his own stats.

Seeing just a single piece of equipnt almost quadruple his attack stats almost gave him a heart attack. No wonder he was just a mob character in his previous life. No matter how hard he tried, if he didn't have a minimum amount of luck, then it was just impossible to get stronger.
Jake then bowed down to Richard one last ti and he left the hut.
Looking at the many people who were still undergoing their tutorial, he sighed with relief. After a long two days, he was finally able to leave the tutorial village.
The path outside was simple. There stood a blue portal the height of a two storey building. Anyone could just enter, and they could choose where they wanted to start their journey.
Jake had no choice though. He had to start near the Death Canyon because he had a ti limit for the quest.
.....
In a room, high above the city, standing atop millions of people, two n were sitting across from each other, still and silent.
And looking out the window, another man was contemplating.
"So you are saying that Maria just put out a quest for a legendary piece of equipnt, and soone already got it?" one of the n at the table broke this weird standstill.
"I don't know how it happened? The quests are made so that no one can actually do them. I an, who would waste a whole two days in the tutorial village when the entire world is past it and getting stronger? Who would have expected that to happen?" the other man on the table said.
The one looking out the window was still silent and calm, looking out the window.
"We have too much riding on this. We can't exactly touch the player now. Should we take care of him? Should we silence him?"
Finally, the man standing turned around.
Seeing this, the other two looked at him with fear in their eyes.
"If you made the mistake, you go fix it. I do not want any problems in the first two days of launch. Leave the player alone. Let us see how far he'll get. If he becos a top ranker, then fine. But if he doesn't get anywhere, then just approach him and buy the character off him. Money is everything these days after all." he said.
"As you wish." the two n stood up and bowed, running out.
"Why are there problems so quickly? I thought that the world was perfected. Seems like the Maria division needs a little incentive to get better." he clenched his fists.
