Chapter 1130: 508: Chieftain’s daughter married to Lanling! Du Yan in anguish!

Nine hundred and fifty-two!

Lanling’s kill tally is nine hundred and fifty-two!

Among them, over thirty were Berserkers, each counting for approximately three kills. There were also so elite Samurai, each worth two kills.

Chief Constantine reviewed the number repeatedly, convinced that he must have been mistaken, but ultimately confird this astonishing figure.

This battle wiped out over five thousand mbers of the Wild Horse Tribe, and Lanling alone accounted for almost one-sixth of that total.

It should be noted that during the second cavalry duel, when a hundred Wild Horse Tribe cavalryn were eliminated, the credit largely belonged to Lanling. However, the kills were divided among the hundred foreign tribe cavalryn, leaving Lanling with only ten kills.

In other words, throughout the entire battle, Lanling shot down six to seven hundred enemies. (So kills counted for two or even three due to their significance.)

The battle report stated that towards the end, Lanling had run out of arrows and started using shared foreign tribe arrows.

Moreover, he hit his target almost every ti, regardless of whether it was direct shooting or earlier parabolic shooting.

At the start of the battle, the Wild Horse Tribe set up shields about two to three ters high, blocking direct shots while also obscuring visibility. Even in such conditions, Lanling continued to hit his targets with every shot.

Shooting blind without visual confirmation, yet still hitting every target—

It’s otherworldly, suffocatingly incredible!

Chief Constantine licked his lips, curiosity about Lanling’s background stirring deeply within him.

There was no doubt that Lanling was indeed Suo Mo’s nephew. But how could soone of such extraordinary skill have remained completely unknown until now?

Looking again at the kill tally rankings:

Du Yan scored 235 kills, which included the young chieftain of the Wild Horse Tribe—worth fifty kills alone.

Yanggu’s military achievent was 135 kills.

Qiuju achieved 139 kills.

Du Yan was undoubtedly stronger than Yanggu and Qiuju, yet even the combined kill count of these three was not as high as Lanling’s alone. In fact, it was only half of Lanling’s tally.

Constantine closed his eyes.

He had to set aside his personal sentints and seriously contemplate a question.

Was it more advantageous to marry his daughter Nini’an to the Barbarian King’s heir as a concubine, or to marry her to Lanling?

In today’s battle, Lanling hadn’t perford at his full potential because there was no one safeguarding his well-being, allowing enemies to get too close to him.

If soone were to protect him constantly, ensuring no enemy could approach, Lanling could unleash even more extraordinary killing power.

Furthermore, Constantine noticed that in the final monts, Lanling had repelled the Wild Horse Tribe chieftain’s daughter using his own abilities.

It seed he had employed spiritual power in the attack!

Lanling’s martial arts skills were not exceptional. Comparing him to Du Yan, Yanggu, and Qiuju, or even the roughly hundred top warriors in the Chira Tribe, he fell short.

And yet, if utilized correctly, Lanling’s value surpassed that of an entire cavalry force numbering in the thousands!

Each ti Constantine went to battle, he could theoretically reduce the number of troops by several thousand, relying solely on Lanling’s efficiency. Given enough ti, Lanling could slay over a thousand enemies on his own.

After recalculating several tis, Constantine determined that the potential gains of marrying Nini’an to Lanling likely exceeded those of making her the Barbarian King’s concubine.

Moreover, there was no guarantee he could successfully wed Nini’an to the Barbarian King’s heir.

Taking a deep breath, Constantine said, “Send for Nini’an.”

“Nini’an, if—just if—I were to marry you to Lanling, what would you think?” Constantine queried.

Nini’an’s eyes widened sharply. Her heart skipped a beat, but she quickly shook her head. “I don’t want to!”

“Why?” Constantine pressed.

Nini’an replied, “The man I marry must either hold an exalted status that commands my admiration, or cherish deeply, reverently, willing to sacrifice everything for .”

Then, she continued, “Father, how could you entertain such a peculiar notion? You’ve always loathed Lanling, haven’t you?”

Chief Constantine handed her the parchnt. “This is the military record from the recent battle.”

After taking the parchnt, Nini’an’s voice escalated several pitches, crying out, “Impossible!”

She couldn’t bring herself to believe these figures. In her mind, no one could achieve this level of carnage; it was utterly beyond comprehension.

Lanling was undeniably gifted in archery, but even the tribe’s finest marksn could only take down twenty or thirty enemies at most before exhausting their spiritual power entirely, regardless of physical strength.

A military record tallying over nine hundred kills? Completely impossible.

“Father, there must be an error in the count, or perhaps the foreign tribe soldiers used Lanling’s arrows to cheat and artificially inflate his kill count,” Nini’an speculated.

Constantine shook his head. He had already verified the numbers countless tis. The foreign tribe army valued honor deeply—how could they do such a thing? Moreover, Du Yan had monitored the situation constantly; Lanling had no opportunity to cheat.

“During the earlier parabolic shooting phase, he didn’t even use his eyes to aim, yet still hit every shot,” Constantine said. “In those few minutes, he slew hundreds of people. I assure you this result is entirely accurate: Lanling’s kill count will only be higher, not lower.”

Nini’an finally cald down, refraining from further objections. However, her heart churned with a storm of disbelief.

She fully understood why her father would seriously consider marrying her to Lanling.
