World Domination Begins With Getting a System in a Modern World Chapter 73: Outing
Jas woke up to the soft glow of morning light filtering through the massive windows of his master bedroom.
The sheer curtains fluttered gently as a cool breeze entered, and for a mont, he simply lay there, enjoying the peace.
It still felt surreal, waking up in this king-sized bed, surrounded by the kind of luxury he had only seen in movies or read about in business magazines.
The thick mattress, the crisp high-thread-count sheets, the expansive bathroom with its rain shower and jacuzzi — every single detail scread wealth.
With a quiet sigh and a satisfied smile, Jas sat up, stretching his arms before heading into the bathroom to freshen up.
The marble tiles were cold against his bare feet, but he didn’t mind. He took a long, hot shower, letting the water wash away any lingering drowsiness.
Once he was done, he threw on a comfortable outfit — just a simple black T-shirt and a pair of well-fitted jeans.
He wasn’t planning on going anywhere, so there was no need to overthink his wardrobe.
After he was done, he left his room and went downstairs for breakfast. As Jas walked downstairs, the familiar sll of breakfast filled the air.
Patty, as always, was already in the kitchen, preparing sothing warm and delicious.
Jas walked over, leaned down, and pecked her cheek. This is a habit he had developed over the years and it always made Patty smile.
"Good morning, Patty. How was your night?" he asked.
Patty turned to him with a warm smile.
"Good morning, sweetheart. My night was wonderful, thank you. How was yours?"
"It was great," Jas replied, stepping back and scanning the kitchen, he also looked towards the living area.
It was only then that he noticed Leslie was nowhere to be found.
"Leslie isn’t up yet?" he asked, amused.
Patty chuckled. "Hahaha, for her to sleep in like this, she’s definitely enjoying her sleep. That girl must have really enjoyed her bed last night."
Jas smirked, shaking his head. "Well, I guess it’s a well-deserved rest."
"Yeah. You should go wait in the living room. I’ll let you know when breakfast is ready," Patty said, as she continued what she was doing.
Jas nodded and left the kitchen, making his way to the massive living area. He flopped onto the plush leather couch, grabbed the remote, and turned on the TV, flipping through different channels, while enjoying the peaceful, quiet atmosphere.

A few minutes later, Leslie erged from the hallway, looking completely disheveled. Her ssy bedhead, half-closed eyes, and the way she lazily scratched her stomach while yawning told Jas everything he needed to know.
"Looks like you enjoyed your sleep," he comnted without taking his eyes off the TV.
Leslie groaned dramatically as she collapsed onto the sofa next to him.
"It was amazing," she sighed. "The bed is so cozy, and I stayed up late because my friends wouldn’t stop blowing up my phone."
Jas smiled but didn’t respond, as his attention was on the movie he was watching.
Leslie sat on the couch for a few monts, stretching and rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.
Then, out of nowhere, she turned to him with a smile and curiosity in her eye.
"So, what do you have planned for today?" she asked, nudging him slightly.
Jas shook his head. "Nothing. Just stay at ho, watch movies, play gas."
Unless the docunt for the offshore trust holding company has been drafted, or he gets another mission from the system, Jas will be free.
Leslie made a face. "Ugh, boring. Why don’t we go out? There are places I want to visit. You, , and Mom — we can go together."
Jas raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Where do you have in mind?"
"Well, there are a lot of fun places we can go. We could go to Santa Monica Pier, or Univarsal Studio, or even just go to a nice café. Whatever we do, it’ll be better than sitting at ho all day."
Jas pondered for a mont, then shrugged. "Alright. As long as it’s fun, I have no problem."
Leslie bead, but Jas wasn’t finished.
"You can have the Trax. It’s yours now," he added casually.
Leslie’s entire body stiffened.
Jas barely had ti to react before she launched herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck in a tight hug.
"OH MY GOD, JAS! THANK YOU!!!"
Jas chuckled, patting her back lightly. "Alright, alright, enough hugging. You’re distracting from what I’m watching."
Leslie pulled back slightly, with a mischievous smirk on her lips.
"Oh? Am I really distracting you from the TV, or am I making you feel sothing?"
Jas sighed, already knowing what she’s trying to do.
"Fuck you, Leslie," he muttered, shoving her off him.
Leslie collapsed beside him, on the couch, laughing.
Then, out of nowhere, she turned to him again, her expression turning into sothing more thoughtful.
"You know... I’ve never seen you with a girl before," she mused.
Jas rolled his eyes. "And?"
"And... my friends have this theory that the reason why you don’t like Natasha is because you’re... You know?..."
Jas shot her a glare, his expression screaming, "Really?"
Leslie grinned. "Relax, I’m just teasing. But honestly, Jas, I get it. You were focused on making money and giving us a better life. But now that you’ve achieved that... why not get yourself a girlfriend? I don’t want you to be single forever, you know."
Jas smirked. "Don’t worry, Leslie. When I find a girl I actually like, I’ll ask her out."
"Tsk. Lucky you," Leslie huffed. "There are plenty of girls who like you, but you don’t like any of them."
Jas looked at her in confusion, without any idea what she was talking about.
Their conversation was cut short as Patty called them to the dining table.

As they sat down to eat, Leslie eagerly told Patty about their outing plans.
Patty, to Leslie’s delight, agreed without hesitation.
"That sounds wonderful," she said, smiling warmly.
Then, Leslie dropped another bombshell. "Also, Jas gave the Trax!"
Patty looked at Jas in surprise before shaking her head fondly.
"That’s very generous of you, sweetheart. And Leslie, you better take good care of it."
"I will! I promise!" Leslie grinned.
Breakfast continued with lighthearted conversation, and after they finished eating, Patty and Leslie went upstairs to get ready.
An hour later, they were finally ready.
Jas sat in the passenger seat, while Patty took the backseat. Leslie, sitting in the driver’s seat for the first ti after she had gotten her driver’s licence, gripped the wheel excitedly.
After Jas had put on his seatbelt, and also made sure that everyone had theirs, he gave Leslie the go ahead to start the car.
"Alright," Jas said, "Start the car."
Leslie took a deep breath, pressed the ignition button, and the Chevrolet Trax ca to life.
She gripped the steering wheel, exhaling slowly.
"Okay... I got this." She muttered to herself.
It has been a very long since she drove a car and so, she was nervous. But she also felt relaxed as she had Jas beside her.
She smiled to herself and checked her mirrors twice, adjusted her seat slightly before finally shifting gears.
Slowly, carefully, she pulled out of the driveway, entering the pristine streets of Lower Bel-Air.
