Jas pulled up to the driveway and parked the car. He got down from the car and opened the door to the backseat, and grabbed the shopping bags and locked the car.

He walked towards the door and when he got to it, he gently placed the bags in his right hand on the ground, and opened the door.

With the door opened, he grabbed the shopping bags on the floor and walked into the house. And when he got inside, he used his leg to shut the door.

He walked to the living room and he saw Leslie slouched on a sofa, scrolling through her phone.

"Hey, Leslie. Co help out," he called out to her.

Leslie turned her head to the where Jas’ voice was coming from and she saw him standing there, with multiple shopping bags in his hands. But what caught her eyes was the Apple logo on the bags.

"Jas!" She squealed, as she jumped from the sofa and rushed towards him, in a series of movent that Jas found to be impossible for a human.

He couldn’t help but shake his head internally at her reaction. But what she did next surprised him.

Leslie didn’t even bother to ask anything as she surprisingly took the PS5 pro box from Jas’ hand and went to gently place it on the TV console.

Jas was completely at a lost. Her actions weren’t what he expected. Wasn’t she supposed to take the shopping bags with the Apple logo? Or didn’t she not see through the semi transparent shopping bag she took, to know that it’s a PS5 that’s inside?

After dropping the shopping bag on the TV console, Leslie walked back to Jas. She noticed the shocked expression on his face and she laughed.

"What?! Surprised that I took the shopping bag that has the PS5 pro off your hands?" She asked, with a smile, and Jas nodded in reply.

"Don’t be. I know for how long you have wanted to buy it and now that you have bought it, I’m extrely happy for you," she explained.

"So the reason why you took the PS5 off my hand was because you want to celebrate buying it with ?" Jas asked, feeling even more confused.

"Sigh... You’re doing that thing again?" Leslie said, as she took the shopping bags from his hands.

"What thing?" Janes asked, with his confusion increased.

"Trying to understand a woman. I’ve told you that it’s impossible. We are complicated creatures who don’t understand ourselves sotis — most of the ti actually," Leslie replied, as she took her seat on a sofa and placed the shopping bags on the floor.

Hearing what Leslie said, Jas could only shake his head and sigh tiredly. He took his seat his seat beside Leslie and took out one of the iPhone 16 pro boxes from the shopping bag that contains the iPhones.

Jas started unboxing the phone and the experience, and feeling was beautiful. It was almost like the feeling he had when he first got the Chevy Trax.

"Wow! Three iPhone 16 pros, three MacBook Pro and two Airport pro 2! I’m scared to know how much you spent," Leslie said, and hissed, taking in cold breath.

Jas looked at her and smiled, as he said:

"$15,000."

He saw Leslie slowly turn to look at him with shock in her eyes.

"$15,000?! Wow! Now, I’m scared of you going broke. Just today alone, you have spent millions! How much do you have exactly?!" She asked in shock, and burning curiosity.

"You don’t need to worry about going broke, Leslie. I’m a millionaire — multi millionaire. And this is just the beginning," Jas said, with a laugh.

When she heard Jas response, Leslie slowly got down to her knees and held his hand.

"Please, show the way to the wealth. I too want to be rich like you," she said, with solemnity, but Jas could see the mischief in her eyes.

"Get up and stop playing around," he smiled and flicked her forehead.

"Ouch!" Leslie exclaid in exaggeration, as she massaged her forehead.

She stood up from her kneeling position and took her seat.

"Jas, set up one of the laptops for mom and let go give it to her in her room, with the phone," she said, and Jas nodded in agreent.

"I will do that but that’s after they are charged," Jas said, and went to plug the new gadgets.

"But I thought they don’t need full charge before first use, unlike older phones," Leslie said, with a pondering expression as she rembered what she read online.

"That is true but I still prefer them to be fully charged before first use. And besides, it would barely take half an hour for them to be fully charged," Jas replied.

After plugging in the new gadgets for them to charge, Jas started setting up the PS5 pro. He took his ti setting up the PS5 Pro, ensuring everything was properly connected to the TV.

He adjusted the display settings for optimal performance, tweaked the controller configurations, and browsed through the PlayStation Store to select the gas he wanted to download.

The process took a while, and by the ti he was done, the phones and laptops had fully charged.

Leslie, being impatient, had already unplugged them and arranged them neatly on the coffee table.

"Finally done?" Leslie asked, watching as Jas stretched his arms after setting up the console.

"Yeah," Jas replied, taking a glance at the progress bar on the screen.

"The downloads will take so ti, so I’ll set up the laptops now."

Without wasting any ti, Jas grabbed one of the MacBooks ant for Patty and carefully opened the lid. The Apple logo lit up as the device booted up for the first ti.

Since he already knew her email and login details, setting up the laptop was a breeze. He made sure to install so essential applications she might need and customized a few settings to make it more convenient for her.

Once he was done with the laptop, he picked up Patty’s new iPhone and started the setup process. Just like the laptop, he linked it to her Apple account and installed a few necessary applications.

By the ti he was finished, Leslie was already standing beside him, watching him work with mild interest.

"Here," Jas said, handing over the laptop and phone. "Take these to Patty."

Leslie took them with a smile, balancing them carefully in her arms.

"You should have seen her expression when I told her you got her a new phone and laptop. She tried to act all composed, but I could see how happy she was."

Jas chuckled.

"She deserves it. Tell her to let know if she needs help with anything."

Leslie nodded and walked off toward Patty’s room, leaving Jas alone with the rest of the new gadgets.

Now that Patty’s setup was done, he focused on his own phone and laptop. He booted up his iPhone 16 Pro and went through the initial setup, transferring all his important data from his old phone.

It was a smooth process, and within a few minutes, he had everything exactly the way he liked it.

With his phone done, he moved on to his MacBook. Although he wasn’t a huge Apple fan, he had to admit the new laptop was sleek and powerful. It was definitely an upgrade from his old system.

After completing the setup, Jas leaned back in his seat, stretching his arms. He checked the screen, and to his delight, the gas had finished downloading.

"Finally," he muttered, grabbing the controller.

Just as he was about to start a match, Leslie walked back into the living room and plopped down beside him.

"Mom loves the new gadgets. She said I should thank you again," Leslie said, grabbing a controller of her own.

"Good to hear. Now, what are you doing with that?" Jas asked, asking in curiosity.

Leslie grinned mischievously at Jas’ question.

"What do you an? You didn’t think I’d let you have all the fun, did you? I’m about to teach you a lesson in humility."

Jas raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"You think you can beat ?"
