Waking up the next morning, Jas imdiately went to freshen up. And he put on so clean clothes when he was done.

Before going downstairs for dinner, Jas decided to check the value of his portfolio. He clicked on the keyboard and his laptop lit up, and he inputted his password.

Imdiately, the screen was unlocked and Jas saw that his portfolio has increased a little since last night.

From the previous $9.2M it was at when he last checked it through his Info Screen, it was now at $9.6M.

"An overnight increase of $600,000. Not bad. I'm very sure it will hit $10M before noon, and I'm hoping that it will hit $15M before I go to bed tonight," Jas said, as he left his room and made his way downstairs.

When he got to the dinning, he couldn't help but notice that Patty and Leslie looked more radiant than before, as they smiled happily from ear to ear.

Jas smiled and nodded in satisfaction when he saw this. All he wants is to see that beautiful, radiant smiles on their faces everyday.

'I should take them shopping so that they can get themselves so new clothes. Their clothes looks worn-out,' He thought to himself, as he took his seat at table and the two ladies smiled at him.

"Good morning, Patty," he greeted..

"Good morning, Jas. How was your night, sweetheart?" Patty asked.

"Wonderful. Yours?"

"It was lovely and I slept very well," Patty replied.

"Morning, Jas. Thanks for yesterday and thank you very much for the dress," Leslie said, with a sweet smile.

"You're welco, Leslie." Jas nodded.

"Actually, I was thinking that maybe later today, I will take the money for shopping, so that you can change your wardrobe. I know the both of you needs new clothes and you can buy anything you want," Jas said, as he started eating.

"Really?" Leslie asked in surprise, and Jas nodded.

She squealed happily and turned to look at her mom, who smiled and nodded. The two of them knew that Jas was right. They need new clothes, as their old ones are already too old and worn to continue to be worn.

This was the reason why Leslie was happy when Jas said that he will take them shopping, so that they can change their wardrobe.

The three of them ate breakfast happily and after they were done, Jas and Patty stood up and went to the living room, while Leslie took care of the dining table and the dishes.

"Patty, please, can I have the bank details for the house mortgage? I want to pay it off," Jas asked, as he took his seat on a sofa.

Patty was a little bit surprised when she heard what Jas said.

"Did you just say that you want to pay off the mortgage?" She asked in confirmation, making sure that she heard him right.

"Yes," Jas replied, and nodded.

"Honey, are you sure about this? I understand that you want to fix the housing issue, but I don't want you to waste all your money on this old house. The mortgage on the house is $1.7M. There are a lot of things you can do with that amount of money," Patty said, and she saw Jas smiled at her.

"You don't have to worry, Patty. I'm not using all my money on the mortgage. I have more than enough to spend," Jas said.

Patty sighed when she heard what Jas said. She knew that since he said that, she can't change his mind.

She doesn't want Jas to waste his money on fixing the family's problems, but instead, use his money to build a future fur himself. But no matter how many tis she tells him, he won't just listen and unlike before when she was able to help him to save the money he was giving to her, this ti she won't be able to do that.

If he really goes ahead and pay for the mortgage, there's no way that she would be able to get the money back for him.

Patty sighed internally when she thought of this. She wanted to stop Jas from doing this but he was very determined. And he's this determined, nothing can change his mind.

"Fine," Patty said, and gave him the information he wanted.

After Jas had gotten what he wanted, he imdiately went to his student loan portal and paid off the remaining $14,000 in debt.

The next he did was pay off the mortgage on the house. He paid off the entire mortgage if $1,750,000.

The next mont, Patty got a notification from her bank and she was shocked to see that the mortgage has been paid off completely.

She looked at Jas in disbelief and she saw him, smiling at her. She couldn't believe it. Jas just spent $1.75M to pay off the mortgage!

When Jas told her that he wants to pay off the mortgage, she thought that he was going do it at a later ti and not imdiately.

She has no idea just how much money Jas has but the ability to spend such amount of money at once, wasn't sothing to overlook. And it got her curious about a lot of things.

She was very curious but she didn't ask. She has already told him last night that she won't ask, and she's not going back on her words.

Patty was just recovering from the shock of Jas paying off the mortgage at once, when she got another notification.

She looked at her phone and she was stunned to see that a sum of $500,000 has been transferred to her account by Jas.

She looked at him with shock, disbelief and confusion all over her face.

"Why?" She asked, as she looked at Jas with a lot of emotions in her eyes.

She has no idea that her eyes were now moist, with tears forming and threatening to fall.

Jas didn't say anything as he stood up his sofa and walked towards her. He smiled and kissed her on the forehead, and took his seat beside her.

"That is just a simple thank you for everything you have done for . Don't try to save it for . I want you to use it on yourself or however you deem fit. I just want you to know that from today onwards, you won't have to worry about anything money again," Jas said, as softly caressed her hair.

He felt Patty's body tremble slightly and she collapsed into his arms, with tears streaming down her cheeks, freely.

Jas smiled and continued to caress Patty. They stayed like that for a while, before Patty finally stopped crying.

She raised her and looked at him with a beautiful smile, and it was enhanced by her tear stricken face.

"Thank you," she said in a very soft voice, almost like a whisper, before hugging Jas again.

The two of them stayed like that and Leslie walked in on them, rushing into the living room with a shocked and confused expression on her face.

She saw her mom and Jas locked in a hug, and she smiled in understanding and joined them.
