World Domination Begins With Getting a System in a Modern World Chapter 19: Shopping

After they had eaten breakfast, Patty and Leslie left for their respective places of work, leaving Jas behind at ho.

"Now, the day begins," Jas said, as he brought out his phone.

The first order of business for the day was to pay off his credit card debts and so apart of his student loan.

The reason why Jas wants to pay off the two first was because they were the easiest.

Also, since he can't choose between spending and not spending his rebate-eligible funds whenever he spends money, he decided to take care of the two debts first.

He opened his phone's browser and navigated to his credit card company's website. He smiled, glancing at the numbers on the screen.

$1,568.89 in credit card debt.

He clicked the option: "Pay Now."

And the following options appeared: minimum paynt, full balance, custom amount.

Without hesitation, he selected "Full Balance."

His fingers tapped on his phone's keyboard as he entered his checking account credentials.

With a final click, the confirmation page popped u showing that the paynt was successful.

But he wasn't done yet. He switched tabs to the student loan portal. His balance was displayed a balance of $19,000. He smiled as he tapped on the "Make a Paynt" button.

He selected a custom amount and imputed the amount he wants to pay: $5000.

He confird the paynt and the page refreshed. Paynt Successful.

Jas smiled as he closed the student loan portal. Even though he hasn't paid off all of his student loan, the amount he paid made him feel very relaxed and his shoulder felt lighter.

The remaining $14,000 debt wasn't much compared to Jas' current account balance but it would be paid off at a later date.

With that thought in mind, Jas turned his attention to the next thing: checking the system's notifications.

"I see... So, that's how it is... The second transaction was $5,000 but the rebate didn't apply to everything," Jas muttered to himself.

"The system really can't be cheated." He smiled.

Having confird what he wanted, he tapped on his phone screen and it lit up, displaying two credit alert notifications from his bank.

Jas didn't read the two notifications as his eyes directly went down to the bottom of the last notification.

$102,838.48

"Ah! This is the life!" Jas smiled brightly when he saw his account balance.

With this amount, he can confidently say that he's no longer broke. Though he's not yet rich or wealthy, but he's no longer broke.

Yes, Jas was aware that he was completely out of rebate-eligible funds but he wasn't bothered.

First, it couldn't be helped and secondly, the plans on how to start generating rebate-eligible funds passively is already being formulated by Ralph. And Jas trusts Ralph to do a good job.

Jas stood up from the sofa and walked to the door. He opened and turned back to look at the house for a mont, before turning to the world outside.

"Now, it's ti to spend," he said, as he walked through the door.

Jas' first stop was naturally the clothing store. He intends to get himself so good, quality outfits and footwears.

The clothing store that Jas was going to wasn't too far from ho, so he didn't call for a ride. He could had done the shopping online but Jas felt like he needed the walk.

He has been mostly cooped up at ho and on always on his bed, so he decided to exercise his body by walking to the store.

Jas walked into a clothing store and started going through the catalogues of clothes.

He started selecting the outfits that caught his eye and in just a few minutes, he already has his hands full.

He quickly called for the attention of the sales associate to assist him.

"Can I get so help here, please?"

The clothing store is a small one and has two sales associate, one on cashier duties and the other was free.

The free sales associate heard Jas' and quickly walked towards him with a custor friendly smile on her face.

She was about to ask him what he needed help with, when she saw his arms filled with clothes. She quickly rushed towards him and took them from him, freeing his hand.

"I will take that for you, sir," she said.

With his hands free, Jas continued going around the store, and picking the clothes of his liking. After he was done with the clothing section, he went to the accessories section and after that, was the footwear section.

During all these, the sales associate kept following behind Jas, with a smile on her face, and assisting him with anything he needed.

To her, Jas is nothing short of big custor. With just a rough calculation, the items that Jas had selected total a minimum of $2,000!

It wasn't much but considering that their store is small and the fact that they don't get lots of custors due to online stores taking all their businesses. $2,000 was a lot.

And to add to that, Jas wasn't done with his selection. Also, it's not everyday they get soone like him. So, when they do, they do their best to provide the best custor service they can.

In fact, if she knew from the mont he walked into the store that he would be spending so much, she would had started following him.

anwhile, Jas was finally done with his selection. He looked at the lady sales associate behind him, his attention more on the items in her arms, than on her.

He smiled and walked to the counter, with the lady following behind him.

When they got to the counter, he asked the two ladies to start calculating the price of everything and to give him their total cost.

Jas couldn't help but notice the smile the sales associate on cashier duties was giving him, and he chuckled internally.

He understood what she was trying to do but he wasn't interested. He has far more important things that requires his attention and he doesn't have the luxury of ti to get himself involved with a woman.

The lady seeing that her smile had no effect, frowned and continued her calculations.

While they were busy with that, Jas decided to call for a Lyft.

It took the two ladies a couple of minutes before they were finally done with calculating the total cost of all the items.

"Sir, the total cost of everything is $4,187."

Jas nodded in acknowledgent and placed his debit card on the paynt machine, and the paynt was made.

"Thanks you for shopping with us! Have a great day!" The two of them said, after they had confird that the paynt.

Jas nodded in acknowledgent to the girls' words as he placed his card back in his pocket.

It felt strange. Being able to swipe his card without a second thought. For years, he had avoided even looking at price tags as they always gave him heartaches.

Even what can be considered cheap were expensive for him. But now, everything has changed and if he wants, he can purchase anything without batting an eye to the price tag.

'Such a sha that the rebate has such a restriction or it would been so much fun.'

Jas picked up his purchases that has now been packaged, and started walking towards the store's exit.

Seeing Jas leaving, the sales associate that assisted him quickly ran towards the door and helped him to open it.

She held it open until Jas had stepped through the door.

Jas nodded in appreciation before turning to walk towards his ride that was already waiting for him.

The driver of the car seeing how Jas hands were occupied with multiple shopping bags, got out of the car and helped him to open the door to the back seat.

"Thanks, man." Jas said, and dropped all the bags onto the car seat, and got into the car.

He gave the driver an address and the driver imdiately started the car, and drove off towards the location.
