After getting into the car, Jas started driving toward the restaurant he had reserved for tonight: 71Above.

As the wheels rolled smoothly over the road, Jas couldn’t help but steal another glance at Natasha.

Sitting there beside him, her skin glowing faintly under the soft dashboard lights, she looked like sothing out of a dream.

"You look absolutely stunning tonight," Jas said, with a low and genuine voice.

Natasha’s lips curved into a soft, almost bashful smile. She brushed a loose curl behind her ear, her cheeks warming up under his gaze.

"You don’t look so bad yourself," she teased lightly, her voice like a lody.

"Actually... you look dashing. Very elegant, Jas."

Jas chuckled quietly, his hand relaxed on the wheel.

"Good. I was hoping to at least co close to matching you tonight but it’s still not enough," he replied, throwing her a sideways smile that made Natasha’s heart skip.

"Thank you," Natasha smiled shyly.

She shifted slightly in her seat, cradling the bouquet carefully in her lap.

She turned her head to look at Jas, her deep blue eyes soft and shimring under the dashboard lights.

"Jas?" she said quietly, her voice a little shy.

He glanced at her briefly, one hand steady on the wheel.

"Yeah?"

Natasha smiled, her cheeks coloring faintly.

"I’m really happy it’s you," she said simply. "I’m really happy... you’re the one taking out tonight."

Jas felt sothing tighten pleasantly in his chest at her words. He smiled softly, his hand tightening just slightly around the steering wheel.

"I’m happy it’s you too," he replied, with a genuinely sweet voice.

Natasha’s smile widened at his answer. She turned her head to the window, resting her cheek lightly against the seat, but the way her fingers played with the petals of the roses betrayed her happiness.

The drive beca an easy flow of conversation from there. They talked about random things — funny childhood stories, embarrassing monts at school, how Los Angeles traffic never made any sense no matter how long you lived there.

Jas made sure to keep the mood light and romantic, his tone always gentle, making Natasha feel completely at ease. She laughed freely, the sound bubbling up from her chest and filling the car like music.

Every ti she laughed, Jas found himself smiling wider without even realizing it.

The atmosphere between them stayed sweet and light all the way to the restaurant.

More than twenty minutes later, Jas pulled the car neatly into the parking lot of 71Above.

The towering skyscraper lood above them, the windows gleaming against the twilight sky. Jas killed the engine smoothly and quickly got out of the car.

He rounded to Natasha’s side and opened the door for her with a small, charming bow.

Natasha smiled brightly as she took his hand and stepped out gracefully, leaving the bouquet carefully behind on the seat.

She turned to look up at the restaurant entrance, her eyes widening slightly in wonder.

"You brought here?" she asked, her voice tinged with awe.

Jas smiled warmly and extended his hand again.

"Tonight is a special one for us, May," he said, and Natasha smiled brightly.

She slipped her hand into his without hesitation, their fingers intertwining naturally as they made their way toward the entrance.

***

Inside, 71Above was breathtaking.

The interior was elegant without being gaudy — the very definition of modern sophistication.

Soft, ambient lighting bathed the room in a golden glow. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrapped around the periter, offering a dazzling panoramic view of Los Angeles below.

The city lights glittered like scattered diamonds against the velvet night sky.

Crystal glasses and polished silverware glead against pristine white tablecloths, and the faint sound of gentle, live classical music floated in the background, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere.

The air slled faintly of expensive wine, fresh herbs, and sothing mouthwatering from the kitchen.

A sharply dressed hostess led them to a table near the window — easily one of the best spots in the house.

Jas pulled out Natasha’s chair for her before taking his own seat across from her.

Natasha’s face glowed with happiness as she looked around, then turned those bright eyes back to him.

"Do you like it?" Jas asked, smiling softly.

Natasha nodded imdiately — so fast and eagerly that it made her hair bounce lightly.

"I love it," she said, her voice filled with genuine excitent.

Jas chuckled, a low, satisfied sound, as he picked up the leather-bound nu and started scanning it.

Natasha picked hers up too, though half the ti she was sneaking glances at Jas over the top of it.

Once he was done choosing, Jas signaled to a passing waiter. The man approached quickly, professional and courteous.

Jas ordered a seared scallop appetizer, a pri filet mignon entrée with truffle mashed potatoes, and a bottle of 2015 Opus One red wine — rich, elegant, and smooth, perfect for the night.

"I’ll have the sa," Natasha said quickly, flashing the waiter a charming smile.

The waiter gave a small nod, confirming their orders.

"Your al will be ready shortly," he said politely before heading off toward the kitchen.

While they waited, Jas leaned forward, resting his forearms lightly on the table.

"You’re incredible, you know that?" he said softly.

Natasha blinked, a little stunned, her cheeks warming again.

"You make it sound like I’m so superhero," she said shyly.

Jas shrugged casually, his eyes twinkling.

"You kinda are."

Natasha laughed, looking down at the table for a second before glancing up at him through her lashes — and that look alone nearly made Jas forget how to breathe.

’Why is she so beautiful?’ he thought to himself.

They continued y the ti their food arrived, the chemistry between them was undeniable.

The waiter set their plates and poured their wine, placing everything neatly before them.

The filet mignon was perfectly cooked — juicy and tender — and the scallops practically lted in their mouths.

Natasha took a bite, moaning softly in appreciation.

"Oh my God," she sighed. "This is so good."

Jas chuckled, taking a bite himself and nodding in agreent.

As they ate, they shared their dishes, stealing little bites from each other’s plates, sipping wine, and exchanging more easy, playful conversation.

There were stolen glances, lingering eye contact, small laughs — the kind of effortless connection that most people spent years trying to find.

At one point, Natasha reached out without thinking and brushed a crumb from the corner of Jas’ mouth with her thumb.

The touch was soft, fleeting — but electric.

Jas froze for a heartbeat, his brown eyes locking onto hers.

Natasha quickly pulled her hand back, a tiny, nervous smile tugging at her lips.

"Sorry," she murmured.

Jas grinned slowly, shaking his head.

"Don’t be."

They fell into a comfortable rhythm again, the night feeling almost dreamlike in how perfect it was.

After finishing their al and lingering over a shared dessert — a decadent chocolate lava cake — Jas paid the bill without letting Natasha even reach for her purse.

"You spoil ," she teased, pouting adorably.

"The pleasure is mine," he replied with a smirk.

He stood up and offered his hand once more. Natasha took it instantly, standing up and slipping close to his side.

Together, they walked back toward the car, the warm night air wrapping around them.

As they stood under the moonlight, Natasha turned to look at Jas with yearning in her eyes.

"The night is too young for us to end it like this," she said, hinting.

Jas caught what Natasha was hinting at and he smiled.

"Yeah. It’s too young. Let’s continue it sowhere else," he said, as opened the passenger door for her.

She got into the car and be gently closed the door, before walking to the driver side and getting in.

He started the engine and drove off to where they will spend the rest of the night.
