Who was the one that assigned you to that role you are enacting as of the mont? It would all co down to 'self', it was all 'self'.

Selfishness or selflessness. Did it matter which one was the characteristic? The denominator was the satisfaction that could be acquired at that mont.

'She selfishly ruined her friend's wedding with the man who cheated on her. She was satisfied with her happy ending.'

'She selflessly gave him up to her friend who loved him to death. She was satisfied with their happy ending.'

If that was the case, why should she give soone else permission on how she should act or feel? Why would she have to ask for consent to be what she wanted to be? The happiness and sadness were the results of 'her' decision. The role that she claid was her own dictation.

If soone wanted to beco the villain or the good person, she didn't care the least. How could she bla or condemn soone who was rely living their life?

"I feel silly right after that I already cried," Kraig said and smiled widely, "Why did I even cry?" He asked curiously and Yanarym laughed loudly.

"That's what I keep on asking you, why were you crying? Because you feel selfish? Baby, own it." She said in a sultry manner, she cupped his face and smiled sweetly. "Be selfish, as much as you can, if that would make you happy."

"What if I forced soone else by being happy with that selfishness?"

"Are you guilty of hurting that soone?"

"I don't know, but if you are not happy- I feel complicated." She stroked her thumbs on his cheeks.

"Why are you depending on my happiness? That is so silly. Do what you really want, Kraig. As I said, be selfish as much as you can. In the end, everyone will get hurt, and anyone could inflict you---grief and misery. And I am the first one in line to impose those offenses. But it is your decision, it was you who let infiltrate your life. Do you understand what I am trying to say?"

'She will hurt you, Kraig, so run away,' her conscience scread at him.

"Will you love more if I let you go further?" Kraig asked, which made Yanarym blink in surprise. "Or will you love less?"

'He didn't understand the warning, did he?' Yanarym knew she committed another mistake, she closed her eyes and rested her head on his forehead, he did this each ti he wanted to calm down. Oddly, she acquired this habit of his, It soothed her too.

'First impression lasts,' they said. 'People changed,' they said.

What about when the impression doesn't last and people don't change? Does that notion make sense?

She used to hate him, but that hate was blurring to empathy.

She batted her eyes and looked at Kraig's. Was he the sa person in that book? Or he changed because of her?

Kraig was no longer the bastard in that book in her eyes, she was wrong. He was no longer 'just' a character, he is a person. She knew that once she entered the body of the original. She knew---everything was no longer 'just' a story in a fiction---he was not the male lead, she was not the villain, Lyndon was the second lead and Tiana was not the female lead, and Matteo was not an extra.

They are all individuals.

Did they change? Did she change? No, she would always be Yanarym---but … She learned. Learning, developing, and getting stronger or smarter is not 'change'.

"Answer , Love. How can you love more than this?"

"Does love have a ter? Is it asurable?" She answered Kraig with a vague question. "Is my love for you right now wasn't enough?" He paused, "Do I lack to make you feel enough, Kraig?"

"Do I?" He gaped at her and tightened his grasp on her body. "Do I lack on making you feel enough, Love?" He muttered languidly.

He never felt lacking, he was always complete, he was fulfilled, he was always happy with her.

But what about her? What does she feel? Did he do what she yearned for? Did he love her the way she wanted or did he just love her the way he felt like it?

Could that contribute to her affair with Lyndon? He never considered her---it was always about him---this relationship was always about him. It should be about them, but it was just him.

She shook her head, "No, you love enough, Kraig."

'Kraig… She keeps calling him his na. He hates it.'

"Then, Lyndon. How did you and Lyndon happen?" He hit straight on the topic while they were in the situation. He couldn't let her prolong this issue, it would only make him crazy.

Yanarym looked at his eyes, she was still holding his face, cupping between her hands. His eyes were still red from crying, his eyes were still aggravating. She could still feel his pain.

She admitted she was wrong, she made a mistake---does that an she will stop tornting him? Does Yanarym pity him? And would have rcy in his heart?

She can, but she won't.

She made a vow, and her resolution was to beco his lesson. If he couldn't learn from her lesson, then she would be his karma. Their karma.

She ca with a purpose and she would grant those wishes. Along with the wishes was her promise. That was why she was sorry, because like what she said. The pain he felt at this mont was just the prelude to her agenda.

"I wanted to protect you." She whispered her lies, "Because Lyndon will hurt you."

"Hurt ? How do you even know that?"

"Because I'm not stupid, I know everything about you… that is how much I am in love with you Kraig. I wanted to protect you from all of the pain." She added with a firm tone. "Your past, your revenge, your heartaches, your thoughts---I know everything." Kraig was speechless, if she knew that much… his mind turned blank.

His heart was palpitating, his stomach felt the jolt, the touch of her skin was warm and electrifying. He felt ecstatic…

Yanarym saw his eyes dilated, he gazed at her with too much affection. She felt his body temperature rising as he was breathing heavily. "You did all that for ." He did not ask, he asserted it. "Love, I'm sorry for doubting you." Kraig wanted to cry again… his emotion was so sensitive.

"I know you will hate If I do that, that's why I didn't tell you…" he held her hands that were touching his face and kissed her palms. "Lyndon was the source of your anguish, and I wanted to keep an eye on him and prevent him from hurting you… "

"He can never inflict harm on , Love. Will you stop seeing him, already? That will make a lot more assured." He mumbled to her.

"K-kraig… you know, I keep preparing myself for that mont when you find out. I am ready to choose your safety than my happiness to be with you---"

"What does that even an?" Kraig creased his brows, he clamped his lips to cut off the heated response he was attempting to make. "What do you an by that, Love? Were you ready to choose him over ? Is that it?"

"Kraig, I want you to be safe--"

"Rym!" He yelled brusquely and fastened his clutch on her arms, "You will choose Lyndon over ?! Are you serious?!"

She had the perplexing visage as if she was expecting his reaction, which made Kraig a lot more furious. She was aware that they would end up this way? She knew!

"You're not going to leave? You said you love !"

"I love you! I love you, Kraig! That's why I am more willing to let you go! Because I love you---" He pinned her to the bed, he flipped their position and now he's at her top. Beneath him, she was so small, but the power in this circumstance was on her. His grasp on her was weakening…

"Bullshit! What the fuck is wrong with you?! I don't want you to let go! I DON'T WANT YOU TO LEAVE ! If you want to protect , protect by being on my side!"

"But being by your side… I will only hinder your revenge." She uttered with a grimace, she wasn't even affected by his anger. Kraig gulped, he felt it again, the anxiousness, the fear… the void that was devouring him. "I don't want you to hate for that."

"I can't even laugh at your humor." Kraig glowered at her. "Take it back, everything you said, take it back before I lose my string of sanity, Rym." He leaned on her neck and wrapped her body in his arms. "Take it back Rym, don't make insane." A tear fell from his eyes. "I beg you."
