"She probably thought that you could create a mistake and get beaten to death." The other kid said on the side. "Be thankful to Rym, she is really cold on the outside but she's very sweet."
"Rym?"
"Yes, the girl you were with." The kid nodded, "That's her na." The kid said and looked at Movu.
"She's isolating herself from us. Although I already offered her my protection before, she didn't accept it. You look strong and capable, if she's willing to stick around with you when she cos back, you should take care of her."
"I will, definitely."
"She's a lovely girl too, despite looking stiff and aloof. We've been with her since she first ca here. I can assure you, she's a nice girl. That was probably three or four years ago?" The kid turned to another kid.
"It's been three years since she ca here."
"Yes, she was often punished before because she was not used to this life. We heard that she was kidnapped from a rich family and was thrown here after getting the ransom from her family. Fortunately, she had adapted to the environnt." Movu felt that his mood slightly lightened but the negative emotion didn't subside.
If she was kidnapped and ca from a rich family, that ans she once experienced a life of comfort and luxury. But for three years, she was five back then--- she was too young.
"So, she ca from a nouveau riche." He mumbled. "When do you think they will bring her back?"
"She'll return later after her punishnt, take this and feed her later, she'll probably have a fever tonight." The kid again offered him bread with clean water. "And this, we took it from the streets, you can use this as her blanket if she gets too cold." They gave him a couple of stacks of old newspapers too. "If you need anything you can ask us for assistance."
"No, this will do. I will take it from here. She's under my protection as of today." Movu smiled knowingly. For whatever it may be, Movu was drawn to her. Surprised by his very reaction when it cos to her. He was curious how drawn he could get.
LIVING in a cramped room that only had one pillow, one blanket, and a mattress that was occupying the entire floor. There was also a cabinet above the bed, where packed foods were stored. Yanarym was sitting on a thin mattress, sorting her treasured snacks that were bought last week in a grocery store. She was ardently recounting her chips, chocolate, and marshmallows, she hadn't noticed the arrival of Movu.
He sat down in front of her and placed a plastic bag beside him. "Stop counting and start eating those. I'll buy you again if you finish that all." She did not bat an eye on him and proceeded on re-counting them.
"Did you eat?" She asked to tidy the snacks after minutes of ignoring him.
"Did not, I just finished the job." He answered and lazed on the bed. "I'm quite tired, feed with those mallows first." He smirked as he knew that her treasure was only worth him.
She took one of them and gave it to him but he closed his eyes only to open his mouth. "My hands are tired, feed ." He dictated.
"You're making your maid." She uttered, Movu opened his eyes and t her icy gaze. He reached out for her plumpy cheeks and pinched them. "Hertsh." She whined that it hurt and he laughed sitting up.
"My girl is so cute." He squeezed her face but she remained her stoic expression. "What do you want to eat?" He asked and pulled her petite body on his lap, wrapping his arms on her tiny waist and resting his head on her soft hair.
"Did you get a bath?" Yanarym asked out of random instead of answering his question.
"Did not," Movu replied and buried his face on her neck while snuggling her soft body close to him. "You sll good." He whispered to her ears and bit his lips to stop himself from biting her neck.
"You don't." Movu laughed after hearing her frigid voice. He brushed her hair to her ears and peeked at her. She was still holding the marshmallow to her hands and looking bored at the situation.
He chuckled, "Do I sll bad?"
"Yes, you do."
"Should I get a bath?"
"Yes, you should."
"I wanna squeeze you so hard." Movu embraced her tightly, "You're so adorable,"
"Movu, stop that." She scolded him in a dry manner that made him bite her back. "Movu!"
"Alright, alright, I'll take a bath." He said that but remained to snuggle her. "Let cuddle first." Yanarym didn't move or make a sound and let Movu adore her.
Five years passed, Yanarym felt like she had her childhood reset and experienced another child's life. This ti, it was different from her first past life. She beca a beggar, got hazed by a paddle on her butt, legs, and calves with her growing child bones, and starved for days! She couldn't believe that this kind of environnt had been experienced by a child.
Fortunately, she gained what she wanted to have. One of the most important people in the story, the main villain, Movu. Ever since she had this young man taking care of her, her life from the syndicates had escalated to good.
Just a year later when they t, Movu beca one of the thieves' kids, however, he did not join their group. He was categorized as one but he was always with Yanarym. With him stealing the goods from tourists in the capital the money was always at its peak. Movu had sneaked money for personal use, like buying food for them and clothes for her.
The man-in-charge did not care about it, as long as the quota would be t. Another year later, Movu took Yanarym under his care.
