Li Yu glanced at the Fifty Fathoms watch on his wrist; it had been two and a half hours since he boarded this seaplane, and the coastline behind him was long out of sight.

He had gotten up and left before seven this morning, and by the ti he reached Sydney, it was already close to eight in the evening, after which he spent over two hours on the seaplane.

His watch now displayed the ti as 10:45 PM, which converted to the local ti was already past midnight.

However, he had eaten a al on the plane and even took a nap, so he didn’t feel tired or hungry.

Through the cabin window, he looked out to see only darkness below. Fortunately, the wind and waves on the sea tonight weren’t strong, and the plane hadn’t been particularly bumpy, maintaining a steady altitude of around 700 ters.

After another twenty minutes, Li Yu finally spotted a faint light on the ocean ahead.

He could vaguely discern the outline of a small island.

At this point, the plane began gradually lowering altitude, and finally landed smoothly on the water, with floats kicking up two rows of white spray to the sides.

Soon after the plane touched down, Li Yu saw a small wooden boat rowing towards them.

There were three people on the boat: one was the sailor steering the boat, another a man around sixty wearing a black tailcoat, holding a kerosene lamp, and a teenage boy with a small round hat on his head.

The small wooden boat quickly rowed up to the plane. The man in the tailcoat was the first to speak, "Welco to Dream Island, Mr. Li Yu. I’m your butler, Ralph, responsible for your stay on the island. Feel free to co to for any issues you might encounter."

He then pointed to the boy and the sailor and said, "This is Holt, the resort’s doorman. You can disembark directly. Holt will take care of your luggage. Matty, the boatman, not only transports guests but also catches fresh seafood for the resort."

Holt raised his round hat towards Li Yu, and Matty nodded at him.

When Li Yu disembarked from the plane onto the boat, Holt skillfully climbed up the plane’s ladder, fetched Li Yu’s suitcase from the cabin’s rear, and then quietly returned to the boat with agility akin to a small monkey.

"It’s quite late now. Let first take you to your room for so rest. The tour and introductions can wait until tomorrow," Ralph said.

"Alright." Although Li Yu had largely slept enough on the plane and didn’t feel very sleepy, he was interested in seeing the room first.

The small wooden boat rowed to the beach where a sightseeing cart was parked not far away. Once ashore, Holt carried the luggage and ran off to start the car.

Ralph stayed by Li Yu’s side, providing illumination with the kerosene lamp.

As they walked, Li Yu chatted casually, "You just ntioned this island is called Dream Island?"

"That’s correct, because it offers a dreamlike experience," Ralph replied.

"I’ve already had a dreamlike experience, and I don’t think anything could be more magical."

"Oh, do you an interdinsional travel?"

Li Yu raised his eyebrows.

Ralph smiled, "There’s no need to be surprised. Unlike Noah and those two pilots you t before, I’m like you—an employee of the Third Term.

"This island and everything on it is company property and open only to internal staff, not external tourists.

"Such rules not only help avoid unnecessary trouble but also allow guests to relax fully, without any need for pretense.

"So you don’t need to speak to in English. I understand you can comprehend all languages and communicate effortlessly in your mother tongue with everyone."

"If you wish, you could show off so of those amazing skills that can’t be revealed elsewhere.

"Holt has always admired and idolized you all. He told there’s nothing cooler in this world than interdinsional travel, and that each of you has special skills like superheroes. This kid is a big fan of yours.

"The guest who ca last month could lift this sightseeing cart with one hand, and the family that visited during New Year, even their few-month-old child, could control tal with their mind."

Hearing this, Holt’s eyes lit up. Although he had already started the sightseeing cart, he hadn’t driven off; instead, he eagerly looked at Li Yu.

Seeing this, Li Yu extended a finger and gently tapped it on Holt’s head.

Holt was full of expectation, but after half a minute, nothing happened. His gaze gradually grew puzzled, and he even turned his head to see if any changes had occurred elsewhere.

Yet everything around was as it had been before, with no difference.

Finally, Ralph alleviated the sowhat awkward atmosphere, "Alright, Holt, Mr. Li Yu has just journeyed a long way and is quite tired tonight. We’d best not disturb him further."

The doorman nodded and finally focused on driving the cart.

The sea breeze coming towards them carried a salty scent, but it was quite pleasant. Holt drove for about ten minutes, reaching their destination—a Lagoon Villa.

The lagoon refers to a lake ford in shallow waters sealed off by silt, connected to the sea during high tide.

The villa itself covered about 300 square ters, complete with a bedroom, a small bar, a living room, a private cinema and recreation room, a gym, a pool, and a terrace.

Standing on the terrace, the lake was right in front of them. It should look quite beautiful during the day, though now at night, there wasn’t much to see.

Li Yu was very satisfied with the accommodations. Noting the late hour, Ralph didn’t say much else. After wishing him a good night, he boarded the small sightseeing cart again and soon disappeared into the night.

After they left, Li Yu took out his phone, snapped a few photos of the room, then took a shower and changed into a bathrobe.

Since he still wasn’t sleepy, Li Yu went to the bar for a drink, sitting on the terrace, sipping on his drink while listening to the sound of the lake.

He searched Dream Island on his phone, but most results pointed to the Maldives.

Not finding any Dream Island near Sydney on the internet wasn’t surprising to him, as Ralph had clearly stated this place was company property and not open to external tourists.

Fortunately, the internet worked fine here. Li Yu even tuned into a local radio station, though at the mont, the female host on the program seed to be talking extensively about the National Party and Labor Party issues.

Not particularly interested, he listened for a while before changing the station.

This ti, he found what seed to be a local amateur station, sounding much less serious, where a few people were discussing recent sea monster rumors.
