As the Azure Dragon miserably fled back, the Wing Clan Warriors also completed their prayers to Gaia in their hearts.

They hoped the Mother Goddess they worshipped could once again look upon them with favor and bring them victory.

Then, facing the furiously advancing White Queen, they charged forward without hesitation.

The White Dragon also noticed the Wing Tribe in front of it, and it gave up on pursuing the Azure Dragon, opening its mouth to spew out a scorching Dragon Fla.

The people flying in front were able to quickly turn away, dodging the oncoming blaze. However, those behind were not as quick to react, and three Wing Tribe mbers were hit directly by the Dragon Fla and were burned to death on the spot.

Another five passed barely away from the terrifying flas, suffering burns of varying degrees, and one had their wings catch fire. They hurriedly flew downward, seeking water to extinguish the flas.

Yet the remaining Wing Tribe mbers acted as if they hadn’t witnessed this scene at all, resolutely carrying out their respective tasks.

So Wing Clan Warriors threw their War Spears from their hands toward the giant dragon’s eyes, one of its few weak points.

But as long as the White Dragon closed its eyelids, those War Spears could no longer harm it, albeit its vision was sowhat impaired at the mont.

Seeing this, those Wing Tribe mbers holding iron chains quietly approached the White Dragon, but before they could act, the dragon’s tail had already swung over.

One Wing Clan Warrior was struck, causing the chest to cave in and blood to spurt out of their mouth. The person behind fared worse, being hit in the neck, their spine snapped by the force of the blow.

But the remaining warriors did not give up or show any sign of fear, coordinating with each other to find ways to keep approaching the White Dragon. The Azure Dragon, seeing that it had support, also stopped fleeing and turned back to help with the skirmish.

Blood splattered continuously in the sky, with the bodies of Wing Clan Warriors falling lifelessly, yet not a single one retreated.

A somber and solemn atmosphere pervaded the battlefield.

Clearly, they all understood the importance of this battle for themselves and the survival of their races.

Li Yu, holding a telescope, took another look and then without waiting any longer, said to Tom beside him, "Have everyone get ready."

Tom nodded. In the next instant, Li Yu had vanished. A black suit floated down from the sky, and Tom, with quick reflexes, caught it before it could hit the ground, respectfully folding it.

anwhile, Li Yu, transford into a golden eagle, was already flying into the sky, heading towards the White Dragon.

The latter was in the midst of a killing spree in the air, having already slaughtered more than thirty Wing Clan Warriors. The number of casualties was almost too much for the Wing Tribe to bear.

But they were not without their successes. One squad managed to attach an iron chain to a spur on the left wing of the White Dragon. The dragon, however, reacted quickly, and with a powerful thrust, it broke free from control and turned to kill half of that squad. Yet, it couldn’t remove the chain from its wing. Quickly, more brave Wing Clan Warriors approached the iron chain amidst the chaos. One of them reached out, about to grab the chain.

But in the next instant, a hand beat him to it, snatching away the iron chain in advance.

Li Yu, reverting from the Transformation Technique back to his human form, paid no mind to the astonished Wing Tribe mber and had already flipped onto the dragon’s back.

Then, reaching under the saddle, he pulled out a Smoothbore Gun and fired at the Wing Tribe mber at close range.

Since the distance between them was less than five steps, Li Yu’s shot accurately hit the target’s chest.

The Wing Clan Warrior’s wings stopped flapping, and he plumted straight down from the sky.

But by this ti, the other Wing Clan Warriors had also reacted, feeling not dismay but elation.

By now, basically all mbers of the Wing Tribe had co to believe in the notion of Divine Punishnt.

They believed that the God known as Saturday had truly cast a terrible curse upon them, and to break this curse, rlin was undoubtedly key.

This ti, they were not only tasked with slaying the Dragon, but they also had to find a way to break the curse and save the lives of their fellow tribespeople.

However, Li Yu had not shown himself previously, leading so of the Wing Tribe to even doubt whether he intended to participate in this war at all.

But perhaps their prayers had an effect, for the Prophet of the Double Rest Sect finally could not restrain himself any longer and appeared before them.

Upon seeing him, the Wing Tribe mbers, even disregarding the White Dragon, rushed towards Li Yu on the Dragon’s back like bears to honey.

Li Yu did not hesitate, imdiately commanding the White Dragon to accelerate, looking as if he intended to head towards Green Field. However, his retreat was blocked by the quick-reacting Wing Clan Warriors, so he shifted his strategy and started to assault eastward.

The two hundred-plus Wing Clan Warriors and the Azure Dragon pursued him relentlessly, quickly leaving the main battlefield behind.

Li Yu directed the White Dragon to continually decrease altitude, anwhile altering its flight path and dodging the War Spears thrown at them—if one couldn’t be avoided, the White Dragon would do a flip, presenting its belly upward, using its gigantic draconic body to shield Li Yu from the attacks.

After a while, a forest appeared in everyone’s sight.

So of the more vigilant Wing Clan Warriors sensed sothing amiss at this point, but Li Yu was right in front of their eyes. They could not give up just like that, nor did they believe there was anything below that could harm them.

So, with only a mont’s hesitation, they followed suit, but the White Dragon in front suddenly slowed down and eventually ca to a complete stop.

Li Yu reached under the saddle and drew a second gun, aid at the fastest of the Wing Tribe, and pulled the trigger,

The fire scythe struck the flint, sparking and igniting the gunpowder in the pan below, causing an explosion that propelled a lead bullet out of the barrel.

This ti, however, the distance between them was a bit too far, and Li Yu’s shot went astray.

But that was no matter, before the Wing Clan Warrior could throw his War Spear, a blood hole suddenly appeared in his head.

This bullet was not fired by Li Yu, but by a gunner hiding in the forest.

In recent tis, not only was the Double Rest Sect’s gun foundry making cannons, they were also manufacturing guns.

Up until now, they had produced a total of seventy-nine rifled guns and two hundred and twenty Smoothbore Guns; this was still a far cry from Li Yu’s stated goal.

Such a small number of firearms would definitely be insufficient against Solomon’s vast army, but they were more than enough against these two hundred-plus Wing Clan Warriors—especially when the forest also concealed a hundred ard maids wielding 3D-printed handguns.

With over four hundred firearms firing together, even if the accuracy was slightly off, the killing power was considerable.

And Li Yu’s earlier misfire was the signal to start the attack. Afterwards, the dense gunfire rang out, and more Wing Clan Warriors were hit, falling from the sky.

In the blink of an eye, they had lost fifty to sixty warriors, leaving just over a hundred. It was the epito of ’shooting birds in a flock’.
