After returning to the Fertile Crescent, the first thing Solomon did was to have a Wizard check Lannita’s health.

They found no wounds on the winged girl, and according to Lannita’s own account, she had not suffered any beatings or torture during her captivity.

She just appeared a bit listless and had a slightly elevated temperature, and she was also prone to yawning frequently.

The Wizards said she might have caught a cold and prescribed so herbal dicine for her while also advising her to get plenty of rest.

After settling Lannita in, Solomon went to check on the Storm Monarch and the Red Grim Reaper.

Compared to the winged girl, the two Dragons were in significantly worse condition.

Their bodies were covered with wounds of various sizes, especially the Red Dragon, whose gaping wound on the neck looked terrifying. Several Wing Tribe mbers attempted to pack it with herbs, but the blood oozing out washed them away.

Moreover, due to the intense pain, the Red Dragon was extrely agitated and would not allow anyone near. Previously, an unfortunate soul got slashed by a bone spur on its wing, splitting half of his body, and he fell from the sky screaming.

The Wing Tribe mbers responsible for feeding it were considering chaining it up, as that was the only way to apply dicine and dress its wounds.

Solomon had prepared himself ntally before coming, but still frowned upon witnessing the dire state of the two Dragons.

This ambush was not a matter of chance but had been preditated.

Redio had already revealed to him Li Yu’s plans to trade Lannita with him.

Solomon guessed then that Li Yu might co to et him riding a Dragon, so upon arriving at the Fertile Crescent, he left the Storm Monarch in the city but had the Red Grim Reaper secretly hide in the nearby woods.

The purpose was to enclose Li Yu and the White Queen when they appeared.

If he could eliminate both the Prophet of the Double Rest Sect and the traitorous White Dragon in one fell swoop, then nothing would hinder his conquest of the West, and he could save Lannita in advance without having to trade with the Double Rest Sect.

Of course, Solomon had also considered the possibility of failure.

He could claim that the attack was an impromptu act by the two giant Dragons, as there were no Wing Tribe mbers involved in the assault and giant Dragons cannot speak.

And indeed, during their subsequent eting, Li Yu didn’t bother to argue with him about the incident.

But what Solomon hadn’t anticipated was the speed and severity of the defeat suffered by the Storm Monarch and the Red Grim Reaper.

All three giant Dragons had been brought to Bratis by the Wing Tribe and had all played a significant role in previous battles, so Solomon was well-acquainted with them.

In terms of strength, the Red Grim Reaper was undoubtedly the strongest, followed by the White Queen. The Storm Monarch, being the smallest in size, was the weakest among the three, but the gap in strength with the other two wasn’t too wide either.

In theory, any two of the three Dragons should be able to easily defeat the third, not to ntion the strongest - the Red Grim Reaper - was on their side.

However, the outco was the White Queen taking on both, forcing the other two Dragons into a retreat, almost without the power to fight back.

This caught Solomon off guard, forcing him to order the army to take to the skies imdiately for a rescue.

Otherwise, the Wing Clan Commander might lose more than just failing to capture a Dragon in this ambush; he might lose two more Dragons as well.

What Solomon found most incomprehensible was that the White Queen, who was the sa White Queen as before, had only been missing for a little over a month, so how had her power grown so terrifyingly upon her return?

Not to ntion compared to the Red and Azure Dragons, even on their original ho of the Hardland Continent, Solomon had seldom seen a giant dragon so overwhelmingly powerful.

He still did not believe in the Divine Punishnt prophesied by that fellow nad rlin, but the latter’s endless stream of tactics had indeed made him quite vigilant.

Although he was reluctant to admit it, Lord Solomon felt a hint of threat, and the most effective way to deal with a threat was to strangle it in the cradle.

Therefore, even though his allies had not completed their assembly, Lord Solomon imdiately made a decisive order, requesting the troops that had already arrived at Fertile Corner to finish preparing at dawn the next day and head for the Western Territories.

However, not long after the order had been given, Lannita ca to find him.

The Wing Tribe girl had already lain down in bed and even indulged in her treasured wine, under the influence of which she felt her body sowhat relieved.

Just as she was about to close her eyes and sleep, the noise from outside woke her up, so she called for the wizard who looked after her, and asked what had happened.

So, she dressed herself again and ca before Lord Solomon.

Lannita did not beat around the bush but said directly, "Withdraw your order, attack the Western Territories in seven days."

Lord Solomon was wiping his short blade and did not look up, rely asking, "Why?"

"Because that was one of the conditions for getting back, you made a promise to rlin in that little village," Lannita said angrily.

"Since when have you ever cared about promises," Solomon stopped what he was doing, looking at the Wing Tribe girl, "especially promises made to an enemy."

Lannita fell silent for a mont.

"Or is there sothing I do not know about, have you made so other deal with rlin behind my back?"

Although Solomon asked this, he seed not particularly interested in the answer and then waved his hand dismissively.

"You are the daughter of Sibulun, sent by the Wizard Association to inspect...how do you refer to it, an investnt? You are the person sent by the Wizard Association to inspect the investnt.

"I will not interfere with your work, and I hope you will respect mine as well and not ddle in the coming war," he said.

"I do not plan on nitpicking the way you lead your troops, but please do not underestimate this opponent, Lord Solomon," said Lannita.

"The Arias family and the Double Rest Sect?"

"Especially the latter."

"I’ve witnessed rlin’s thods today as well, they are indeed extraordinary, no wonder you lost to him before."

"That’s why we must also act cautiously."

Solomon sheathed his short blade, "I agree with you, which is also why I demanded the army to set off imdiately.

"Although I do not know why rlin would want to delay the battle for seven days, since this is what he hopes for, then we must not let him have his wish."

"But both the Storm Monarch and the Red Grim Reaper clearly need ti to recuperate."

However, the Wing Clan Commander remained unmoved, "The Red Grim Reaper, being so badly wounded, can stay behind, while the Storm Monarch has only light injuries and will depart with us.

"Against ordinary armies and the stone fortresses of the Western Territories’ lords, having it is enough. We can forget about the White Queen, and if it dares to show up again, our warriors will handle it.

"Our ancestors were quite adept at Dragon Hunting; it’s ti to pick up those almost forgotten traditions again."
