After communicating with Li Yu, Redio carefully wrapped the wireless radio on the desk in sheepskin cloth and stored it in a hidden compartnt of the cabinet.

He also collected the solar panel used for charging by the window.

It was almost dusk now, the light wasn’t as strong, and the solar panel was about to lose its effectiveness, so there was no need to keep it out.

Although the people downstairs couldn’t see it, there were quite a few Wing Tribe mbers in Lion Heart Castle who could fly.

Those foolish Wing Tribe mbers certainly didn’t understand the true purpose of the solar panel, but its unique design and materials might be sothing they would covet and snatch away for their collection.

Redio didn’t want to take such a risk.

Normally at this ti, following the teachings of the Double Rest Sect, he would have finished work and been free to do as he pleased.

After Lion Heart Castle regained order, many previously shut shops had reopened their doors.

After finishing work, Redio often went to the small tavern across the street for a drink, enjoying a baked pie or a bowl of stew to reward himself.

However, he always rembered his identity and never drank more than one glass of alcohol, to prevent loose talk if he beca drunk, nor would he accept the flirting of dancing girls and prostitutes.

Overall, Redio was quite satisfied with his current job.

The most crucial aspect was that he had witnessed the collapse of the Red Lion Empire and the downfall of the Vespasian Family, which, in Redio’s eyes, was more wonderful than anything else; he could even laugh in his sleep lately.

As a remnant of the Weiting Family, due to that failed court coup years ago, he lost almost all friends and kin.

Redio himself had been tortured in the dungeons of the Royal Capital, a miserable experience that had changed his personality, making him gloomy and harsh at a young age.

Even after he luckily arrived in the western lands and joined the Double Rest Sect, becoming a Sabbath, he was poor at preaching, and no one wanted to listen to his missionary work.

Even other Sabbaths didn’t like this sharp-tongued and cold-eyed young man.

So when Li Yu asked him to beco an intelligence officer responsible for the wireless radio, Redio didn’t hesitate.

Others might find the job too boring and lonely, but Redio enjoyed this solitude.

Moreover, the enemies he once thought he’d never be able to defeat were now falling one by one, their fates more miserable than the last.

Redio only felt a great sense of relief; just yesterday, he went to the dungeon where his family had been imprisoned, offered a bunch of hyacinths for his deceased father, mother, and sister, and told them about the fate of the Vespasian Family.

It was a pity their bones had long been discarded sowhere unknown, and he had no way to pay his respects again.

Without realizing it, Redio fell into reminiscing about the past, but he didn’t wallow for too long before snapping back to reality.

He hadn’t finished work as usual today, because there was still work to be done, so he could only take compensatory ti off later.

Redio rubbed his temples, stood up, and walked out of the small attic room where he lived.

When Li Yu left him at Lion Heart Castle, in addition to giving him a wireless radio, he had also given him a large sum of money.

It was enough for him to afford a better place to live, but after checking out several potential spots, Redio ultimately chose to stay here.

Below his floor was an elderly couple, the man a baker and the woman working at a tailor shop, with a sixteen-year-old granddaughter, all of whom were very kind people.

Redio thought their identities were suitable to provide cover for him, so he rented this little attic room.

Now, he left the attic and headed to the main street, intending to find Kieran and Silver Hand.

In the recent communication, Li Yu instructed him to pay close attention to Solomon’s changing attitude towards the Western Territory and to report back to the Church at the first opportunity.

Redio himself certainly couldn’t do it.

In fact, most of the information about Solomon provided to the Double Rest Sect ca from Kieren and Silver Hand.

Speaking of the two, Redio couldn’t help but admire them. They were clearly just minstrels, yet sohow they had beco Solomon’s close confidants.

They even obtained noble status and estates for themselves, rising like two bright political stars.

It was said that Solomon had even considered bestowing the Poshan Family’s mansion upon them as well, but it was politely declined by Kieren.

Minstrels didn’t mind that people had died there.

The main reason was that Solomon had already purged all the stubborn elents loyal to the Vespasian Family from within Lion Heart Castle.

But in truth, the Red Lion Empire had ruled this land for almost a thousand years; even if it suddenly collapsed, there were still many who rembered it fondly, both openly and in secret.

So remnants of the great families that had been exterminated still clung to life in the shadows, harboring hatred.

Kieren had no desire to beco a target for these people; he and Silver Hand had already survived two assassination attempts since pledging their loyalty.

Fortunately, they were both prepared in advance, hiring guards and rcenaries to protect themselves, and the assassins weren’t particularly skilled, which allowed them to escape unhurt.

But taking over the Poshan Family’s mansion would undoubtedly bring endless trouble.

The minstrels preferred to keep a low profile, opting to live sowhere less grand. They chose the forr mansion of Duren.

After the forr Imperial Forest Guard Captain and his family fled the Royal Capital, the place was left vacant, with only an elderly servant remaining.

So Kieren and Silver Hand could simply pick up their bags and move in. Ever since they took residence there, the place had co alive again, with visitors flowing in daily.

By the ti Redio arrived, it was already dark outside, and there were still many people waiting.

However, the butler newly hired by Kieren recognized Redio and imdiately ca out to greet him, saying respectfully, "Lord Redio, you’re here again."

Redio nodded, his face as gloomy as ever, "I was just passing by, so I thought I’d check in. Are Kieren and the others hosting guests inside?"

Redio could hear the sound of the Layakin and the voice of a minstrel singing inside, but neither Kieren nor Silver Hand were the singers.

Keeping a smile, the butler nodded, "Yes, that’s right."

"I happen to be hungry as well, so I think I’ll join them for a bite. I won’t be disturbing anyone, will I?"

"There you go again," replied the butler. "Sir Kieren and Silver Hand Knight have ordered that the doors here are always open for you."

"That settles it," Redio said without any pretense, stepping inside.

Watching his back, the butler’s smile disappeared, replaced by a contemptuous look in his eyes.

Soone outside asked, "Who was that gentleman who just went in? He seems a bit unfamiliar."

"He’s not really a gentleman. He only helped Sir Kieren before, extending a helping hand during Sir Kieren’s most difficult tis and lending him a silver coin," the butler replied. "After encountering him again in the Royal Capital, he has been clinging to Lord Kieran ever since."
