Due to the pressing ti, the Lady didn’t expect to train the people at her disposal to be highly coordinated. As long as they could understand commands, maintain a basic formation, and not lag too far behind during actions, she would consider it a success.

After all, war is an affair between two sides, and you only need to perform better than the other to achieve ultimate victory.

Before they knew it, another half a month had slipped by, and the tribes in the mountains had been basically plundered by the Lady.

And those that hadn’t been plundered had been persuaded by emissaries sent by Miss Rabbit, who surrendered all their stored grains.

With that, the layout for the wild people’s side was essentially complete, which also ant that the ti for the decisive battle was ripe.

Ireya didn’t plan to delay any longer because the Dwarves who wanted to invade the Western Territories would definitely not just send this one army.

If their reinforcents also arrived, then the Lady and the people under her command would truly be caught in the middle by the enemy.

Miss Rabbit and her generals confird the warti deploynts once again in the military tent.

Her gaze swept over everyone present and she spoke, "Gentlen, life and death, success and failure hinge on this single battle. Do you still rember the oath we made?"

"Of course!" Kamzi was the first to speak.

After so ti to recuperate, his body had mostly recovered. It was just the acorn rye bread that he had grown quite tired of.

When they were utterly starving, it had been bearable. But once there was no longer a concern for food, Kamzi began to miss the white bread, ga ats, and wines on the dining table.

He wanted to quickly return to his luxurious and sturdy fortress.

The other Nobles shared his sentints and thus also echoed, "To avenge the Marquis, find those traitors, kill all those Dwarves!"

"It’s ti to show those guys what we’re made of!!!"

"I, too, must avenge my deceased son." Ying Song, his hair white with age, wiped his treasured sword on his knee, his placid face filled with the intent to kill.

Seeing everyone’s high morale, Ireya didn’t say anything further to encourage them, but simply extended her left hand.

Her thumb and Little Thumb pointed to the sky, the other three fingers closed together, pointing to the ground, she solemnly said, "Saturday be with us!"

The other Nobles in the tent hesitated for a mont but quickly raised their left arms in the sa manner as the Lady.

"Saturday be with us!"

They were all followers of Pisya, yet at that mont they prayed to Saturday alongside the young girl.

It wasn’t that they were fickle, forgetting the promises they had once made.

It was just that when they found themselves in dire straits, their worshipped God remained hidden in the distant Divine Country, ignoring their prayers and cries for help.

In contrast, Saturday had sent his Prophet rlin to extend a helping hand to them.

The Nobles had certainly taken notice of Li Yu’s actions during this period.

Without the miracles perford by the Prophet of the Double Rest Sect, without Yilei, Saturday’s number one devotee, leading them to overco adversity,

they might have been killed by the Dwarves by now, turned into nothing but bones in these vast mountains.

The reason they could still stand here was indeed because of Saturday’s protection.

Actually, these days so nobles have already approached Li Yu requesting to join the Double Rest Sect and convert to Saturday worship.

And of course, Li Yu wouldn’t refuse them and held conversion ceremonies on the spot.

He had invested a lot this ti, and it would be a huge loss not to recruit more followers and "recoup so blood."

While the imperial generals united, leading a vast army towards the mountain entrance, the commander of the dwarf army, "the Giant" Jero, was frowning in concern.

The troops he had left in Gravel Valley to monitor the remaining imperial forces in the valley had suffered heavy losses—a force of one thousand five hundred, with less than two hundred escaping back.

And those who returned spouted nothing but nonsense, resulting in unrest amongst the troops, which forced Jero to behead a few to suppress those strange rumors.

Jero, though sowhat worried at the ti, was generally calm.

Because despite so loss of manpower, the situation had not escaped his control.

The Empire’s newly crowned champion and the reinforcents she brought had, as he had previously planned, lost all their supplies, and the food they carried would only last another four or five days.

After that, they would starve in the mountains just like the previous imperial troops did.

Later, Jacob had agreed to scout out the imperial reinforcents for him, but the Wing Tribe mber never returned.

Jero wondered if he had encountered so danger, but he also felt that with Jacob’s flight ability, he should have been able to escape easily if that were the case.

As a result, Jero was left even more in the dark as to why he had not returned.

However, what troubled him the most was the imperial reinforcents—who had been quiet for a long ti.

Jero even wondered if they had starved to death, until recently, when so wild tribes fled to him for refuge.

Only from their accounts did Jero learn that the imperial reinforcents had been raiding those wild tribes in the mountains during this ti, seizing much food from them, which helped the imperial people overco the current food crisis.

That’s when Jero felt the situation was a bit tricky—his opponents this ti didn’t seem so simple.

But Jero wasn’t too anxious; after all, he still held an absolute advantage in terms of the number of troops, and with the help of the wild tribes, he could hardly lose in a direct confrontation.

The Lady called Ireya surely understood this, which was why she hadn’t led her army against him yet.

But always being at a stalemate wasn’t a solution, as the military provisions Jero brought were also limited.

Although if they really ran out of food, he could have Morse from Solid Stone Castle send so over, those imperial people weren’t fools; if they overdid it, Morse would also co under suspicion.

This chess piece still had uses later on; Jero didn’t want it to be exposed so soon.

It seems he would have to co up with another thod to force the imperial army to show itself.

Jero contemplated whether to retreat a distance first and let Morse release so false information to deceive that champion, claiming the Mountain Pass had been recaptured, to lure her and her troops over.

As he was lost in thought, he saw his subordinate bringing two wild n into his tent.

"Aragon, what are you doing bringing these foul-slling fellows before ?"

Jero, who had previously defended the eastern territories for the Kingdom, had fought plenty with these wild n and had no fondness for them. If it weren’t for the fact that they were allies for the ti being, he would’ve ordered these troublemakers to be disposed of.

"Giant," Aragon saluted Jero and pointed to the two wild n, "These fellows want to desert."
