The sound that emitted from the loudspeaker startled a flock of crows above the castle into flight.

The curse that the forr Priest uttered was like a thunderclap that exploded in everyone’s ears!

Afterward, all other noises vanished, and an eerie quiet descended upon the open ground in front of the castle. Many were shocked, their heads turning continuously in search of the source of that resounding voice.

It was not until the forr Priest’s voice of apology arose that the panicked crowd began to understand where that string of curses had co from, though even the most learned among them didn’t know why Adelle’s voice had suddenly beco so loud.

Just as they didn’t understand how those wingless iron birds could fly in the sky.

One could only say that the divine power of Sabbath was too formidable!

And Prophet rlin, being a prophet, had not even appeared yet.

The commoners were sowhat better off, at most feeling a bit alard and insecure. In contrast, the Nobles in the castle had much more on their minds.

Everyone had seen what the Arias family had been like before.

Their sudden rise now was clearly no secret.

If this power could be held in their hands, did it not also an that their families behind them could advance further... Many hearts were already heating up with anticipation.

Perhaps, it was ti to make contact with the mysterious Prophet rlin.

While they were calculating the pros and cons of connecting with the Double Rest Sect in their minds, on the other end, Adelle began to tell the truth about the previous competition through the loudspeaker.

She recounted in detail how the Church had pushed her to challenge Li Yu, how many Priests had supported her behind the scenes, and the manipulations they had done during the treatnt processes.

Adelle did not know how many people would believe her, nor did she know what ans the Church would devise to deal with her afterward.

She just felt much relieved after speaking out,

as if she had shed a great burden.

Actually, until she spoke, she was still hesitating. But perhaps the words of Anton had also touched her, and the forr Priest began to reflect on whether those self-indulgent sacrifices were truly worthwhile.

She was willing to take the bla for the Silver Moon Sect because she always felt that the existence of the Silver Moon Sect had helped many people, especially those impoverished and helpless individuals.

If sacrificing her own reputation could protect the reputation of the Silver Moon Sect and allow Pisya’s radiance to continue warming more people, then she would burn herself out without any regrets.

In Adelle’s view, this was the right thing to do.

But since arriving in the territory of the Double Rest Sect, the forr Priest saw... many different things. She felt a more vigorous life energy and vitality.

Every day, sothing different was happening here, each mont rapidly evolving, fresh and interesting.

In contrast, the Silver Moon Church, which had ruled the western lands for thousands of years, was like an aged old person, exuding an odor of decay and stagnation.

The forr Priest had not joined the Double Rest Sect, but besides practicing her old profession of healing and saving people, she had also, like others, been eagerly learning the teachings of the Double Rest Sect, never missing a single missionary session from Li Yu.

Although it sounded sowhat raw and unrefined to her, and there were parts she couldn’t understand or temporarily could not agree with, the beautiful world filled with hope and joy that Li Yu described indeed ignited in her a strong desire to see it for herself!

She too wanted to join in this great journey, to partake in this vigorous construction, and beco a part of it.

So... she decided to take the first step starting now.

Unlike Anton, Adelle harbored no resentnt towards the Silver Moon Church. She simply felt that the old and outdated powers should give way to newer, more progressive forces.

Just like how fallen petals decompose into nutrients, nourishing robust new life from the soil.

Thus, Adelle also resolutely stood up and wielded her blade against her forr master.

The situation was increasingly unfavorable for the Silver Moon Church; before even confronting the main opponent, they had already suffered two strikes, and these were perpetrated by their forr own, which made the wounds especially painful.

Instead of inciting hatred towards the Double Rest Sect among Pisya’s followers, Black Hamr and his associates inadvertently caused instability within their own ranks. Even the villagers who ca with him to seek justice started to believe that Tom’s words might be true.

Thinking back, the two Sabbath mbers who visited the village that day indeed looked unscrupulous, lacking the temperant of missionaries, and they didn’t preach any doctrine from beginning to end. Could they really be impostors?

And if the two sabbaths from the Double Rest Sect were impersonated, then this would an that the Black Armored Cavalry truly existed...

Once doubt arises in people’s hearts, the cohesion they had previously begins to dissolve. Additionally, having witnessed various demonstrations of power by the Double Rest Sect, many villagers showed signs of retreating.

Seizing the mont, Miss Rabbit imdiately announced the release of Yacco and Jile, thus partially fulfilling Black Hamr’s demands.

Realizing that persisting in creating turmoil was unlikely to be effective, and despite his reluctance, he was forced to step aside for the ti being.

The noble guests in the castle who were there to enjoy the spectacle were sowhat surprised that the crisis had been resolved so quickly.

The Silver Moon Church had stirred up many villagers, intending to hinder the Lady’s induction ceremony.

Yet, before even confronting the main figures, they were directly taken down by two of their forr own halfway there, which gave the impression of much ado about nothing.

Could it be that the dynamics in the Westerlands were truly changing?

If soone had said before that a small, unknown sect could challenge the Silver Moon Church’s dominance in the Westerlands, their words would mostly have been taken as a joke.

But now, this joke was gradually becoming a reality. Many present were shrewd individuals. Although this had only been a minor skirmish between two sects, it revealed the Silver Moon Church’s weakness.

In exchange for friendship with the Noble Families of the Westerlands, the Silver Moon Church had voluntarily given up its ard forces, not expecting this to beco their Achilles’ heel.

Although the number of followers and the scale of the two factions still differed greatly,

it was only at this mont that everyone realized, aside from continuing to discredit Li Yu and his Saturday backers, the Silver Moon Church seed to lack effective asures to counter the Double Rest Sect.

This was like a bloated fat man, who might look big but had little strength.

On the other hand, the Double Rest Sect even used this crisis to once again flex their muscles.
