"Alright, Lord Rein." Olena nodded and said.

At this mont, Rein was contemplating two things in his mind.

The first concern was about whether he should take Anna with him to the Blood Curse Naga Cave.

For the Sam Group from the Imperial City, acting within Minster City posed no significant concern. This was evident from the previous attitude of the ’Bloodtop rcenary Corps’.

As a rcenary group from the Imperial City, they naturally had a sense of superiority. Even if they lost a battle, they would consider it just an accident.

Therefore, once he left Minster, it was very likely they would directly abduct Anna.

This was sothing he could not accept.

Thus, he decided to take the initiative and eliminate the hidden threat in its bud.

As for the possibility of Duke Delam coming to find trouble afterward, he already had a fitting excuse.

’The Sam Group sent soone to follow Anna, so he went to ask for an explanation. As a result, the Sam Group attacked him first, and then he eliminated the Sam Group.’

This was the explanation Rein had thought of.

Whether or not Duke Delam would believe it was another matter altogether.

As for the second concern, he would address it once the first was resolved.

"By the way, Lady Olena, please arrange for our group to take the earliest Imperial Military Airship to ister this afternoon," Rein said, looking up at Olena.

"Lord Rein, why not choose the morning?" Olena asked, a bit puzzled.

"In the morning, I have a small matter to handle." Rein smiled and said.

...

Fifteen minutes later.

Mingster Auction House.

Viscount Fabien was leisurely in his office, leaning back in his large armchair, sipping Yodun Tea with an extrely satisfied expression.

Ever since he deflected the conflict between the two significant figures, Sam and Rein, allowing them to resolve it themselves, Fabien had felt a lot more relaxed.

Simultaneously, he felt quite proud of his wisdom and cleverness.

For this reason, he thought of a phrase to describe himself: ’The transient big shots, but the unyielding Fabien.’

No matter how the shares and power struggles at the Yakeson Auction House changed, he, as an old mber of the Munster Branch, could still keep his position and live quite comfortably in the cracks.

That is skill!

"Knock, knock, knock!" The sound of knocking was heard.

"Please co in!" Fabien said casually.

"Pfft~"

When Fabien saw clearly who walked in, the Yodun tea he had in his mouth sprayed out instantly, splattering all over himself, and the desk was covered in tea, leaving him quite in disarray.

But he didn’t have ti to clean up; he hurriedly stood up, flustered, and greeted respectfully:

"Lord Rein... Lord Rein, why have you co?"

Although he was also a Viscount, as was Rein, not all Viscounts were equal.

He had beco a Viscount by relying heavily on family connections and exerting imnse effort to barely reach the rank of Viscount.

But Rein was different...

Being a Viscount was just a minor milestone in Rein’s path of advancent.

If Fabien couldn’t understand this, he might as well not be in the ga at all.

"Viscount Fabien, sorry to bother you. I’d like to inquire about sothing," Rein smiled slightly and got straight to the point.

"Please go ahead, Lord Rein. Please have a seat." Fabien nodded promptly and said.

"I’d like to know where Lord Sam is currently staying. I wish to pay him a visit."

"Well... um..."

Fabien wiped the sweat from his forehead, his eyes shifting uneasily.

Although Rein spoke quite calmly, Fabien knew well enough that Rein was very likely going to personally seek trouble with Sam.

The so-called ’visit’ might very quickly turn into a conflict.

The crucial point was, he didn’t want to get involved in this matter!

If he led Rein there, and later, the Sam Group retaliated against him, he’d be in serious trouble. But if he didn’t comply...

The issue seed even more severe!

Most likely, he’d be facing trouble right then and there.

So, the choice was quite simple.

"It seems Viscount Fabien doesn’t want to do this favor."

"No, no, Lord Rein, I’d be more than willing. They’re staying in a guest mansion not far from here, I’ll take you there imdiately." Fabien hurriedly said.

"Good." Rein nodded in satisfaction.

He planned to deal with the Sam Group before heading to ister.

...

Soon, Rein and Fabien, along with their group, arrived at the guest mansion.

"What? They left yesterday and haven’t returned since?" Fabien exclaid in surprise after hearing the attendant’s response.

"Lord Rein, um... I sincerely apologize. Their actions don’t need to be reported to , so I didn’t know they had left yesterday."

Rein looked at Fabien’s expression and saw it wasn’t insincere, causing him to feel a slight disappointnt.

With this, he’d have to take Anna along with him after all.

As for his family, Rein wasn’t particularly worried.

After all, the target was clearly Anna, not him.

The other party also belonged to the Yakeson Auction House. Although they were from the main branch, they wouldn’t attack his family without reason.

Because if they did, it would only infuriate him, and not even Duke Delam could protect the Sam Group.

So, as long as the Sam Group wasn’t foolish, they wouldn’t take such action.

"Viscount Fabien, once Lord Sam returns, please notify imdiately, thank you."

"Of course, of course."
