Rein reached in, picked a slip at random, and looked at it.
The next second, he was stunned!
Rein’s surprise obviously made those nearby sowhat bewildered. The young woman nad Fiona could not help but peer over and exclaid softly,
“It’s number two!”
Although Fiona spoke softly, Evelyn and a few others naturally heard it.
They all looked up and scrutinized the number in Rein’s hand; it was indeed number two.
The attendees couldn’t help but look at him with a mixture of pity and sympathy…
Soon, the crowd began to whisper:

Only Vinica, though surprised, didn’t think Rein would have any problems!
Unperturbed by the whispering nearby, Rein was unconcerned.
Since nobody knew exactly what the Sword Bearer assessnt would involve today, the first one or two participants were, so to speak, stepping stones across the river for everyone else.
