Half a minute earlier, a carriage guarded by several knights had just turned the corner of the winding forest path and caught sight of Rein's powerful hamr strike.

The knights who witnessed this scene all had their expressions dramatically change, while at that mont, the curtains of the carriage window were pulled back slightly.

Underneath the hood was a beautiful young face, curiously watching in the direction of Rein, when suddenly, a pair of eyes uncontrollably widened, and the cherry-like mouth quickly ford into an 'O' shape!

What ca into the young maiden's view was a huge humanoid creature with muscles so swollen it was ridiculous, holding a dark iron hamr high and striking the ground heavily, as if the earth itself was fracturing and sending shockwaves through everyone's hearts.

In an instant, the ground cracked open inch by inch, and an invisible shock force spread out rapidly from the point of impact.

The stones and gravel on the ground, upon encountering this shock force, were instantly reduced to dust.

So, with a face full of panic and a bit of confusion, 'Beast Knight' Giovanni took the full brunt of this intense shock force!

Even though he was protected by plate armor, even though he was shielded by vine-like living tendrils of black fla, he still stood frozen in place for about half a second under Rein's full-powered strike.

When high-skilled combatants clash, the situation can change in the blink of an eye!

Half a second might only be enough ti for a normal person to throw a punch, but for Rein, it was enough to deliver at least three forceful and powerful hamrs!

"Bang! Bang!"

The third strike was even followed by a secret Tokkal Hamr Technique move, the 'Rising Dragon Hamr!'

Rein twisted his body and swung his hips, channeling the strength of his core muscles, swinging his hands to create a dark afterimage that moved from the bottom upwards, severely striking Giovanni's wolf-jawed chin.

"Crack!"

Giovanni's wolf-jawed chin was directly shattered, and at the sa ti, his entire body was thrown four or five ters upwards, his eyes rolling back in his head!

But it still wasn't over!

Rein kicked off the ground and quickly followed Giovanni's convulsing body in mid-air, delivering a rapid series of hamr blows!

"Bang bang bang!"

With each hamr blow, the black fla tendrils on Giovanni's body grew dimr, his plate armor shattered piece by piece, and the sound of breaking bones rang out clearly.

These shattering sounds were akin to firecrackers, 'popping' non-stop!

"Thud!"

The sound of a heavy object hitting the ground was heard!

This was because Rein had interrupted his continuous hamring, causing Giovanni's body to heavily crash to the ground.

Despite having the vitality of a Great Knight in his beast form, Giovanni's body still twitched violently, but was clearly in its final throes, his wolf mouth damaged beyond recognition, spewing blood, his whole body showing various odd twists.

From his posture, it was highly likely that there wasn't a single bone intact in his entire body, lying on the ground like a pile of mud.

Giovanni's body was rapidly changing, the black fur receding, his face shifting from that of a wolf to that of a man, but the crushing injuries to his jaw and the fractures throughout his body did not heal as a result.

Soon, a human corpse lay before Rein.

And there stood Rein, holding his hamr, breathing heavily; the outburst of his full strength had greatly exhausted him.

However, his eyes shone brightly at that mont!

For Rein, an opponent of this strength was too rare, and this battle was exhilarating.

He had exerted all his recent improvents and thoroughly tested them in this fight.

However, neither Rein nor the people with the carriage noticed that, perched on a tall tree in the distant forest, there was a lean man in patterned leather armor, holding a bronze telescope, observing the situation here.

Upon seeing Rein kill Giovanni, he was shocked and muttered to himself, "Impossible! How can this Rein be so strong!"

"This is, after all, the leader of the Wilderness Brothers, known as 'Beast Knight' Giovanni, who was killed by an obscure young man!"

"Earlier, I thought the Baron was overreacting, but now it seems I've underestimated Rein..."

"I must report to Baron Alonso imdiately!"

The lean man moved as swiftly as a monkey, quickly descending from the tree and disappearing in the direction of the County Town after a few strides.

After a while, the girl in the carriage finally regained her composure and with a voice as clear as that of an oriole, turned her head and asked, "Knight Lawrence, how... how strong is this person?"

"Very strong! No, extrely strong!" replied the knight clad in knight armor solemnly, glancing at Rein.

"Stronger than you?" the young maiden inquired, puzzled.

"Yes, if I'm not mistaken, his opponent just now should be the leader of the Wilderness Brothers, known as 'Beast Knight' Giovanni, who is said to have escaped from the hands of Great Knights several tis," the middle-aged Knight Lawrence remarked with a touch of reflection.

"I never imagined he would et his end here."

"That strong?!" the girl exclaid in surprise, covering her mouth.

While she didn't know who the 'Beast Knight' was, she did know what a Great Knight was—the most formidable warriors, against whom even her family's strongest fighters could not contend. If a young man could kill such a formidable person, his strength was unimaginable.

"Then, Knight Lawrence, in your opinion, who is stronger—Father's friend, Lord Hamilton, whom he ntioned last ti, who might be able to deal with that issue, or this young man?"
