Rein's heart skipped a beat at her words.
"Otherwise, why would she leave without even saying goodbye to us? Whenever Lagaray saw , she would always greet with a smile and call Aunt Emma."

Before Rein could finish speaking, Anna looked at him with bright, sparkling eyes.
Suddenly, Rein felt an inexplicable sense of guilt rise within him.
"Then why did Lagaray only say farewell to you? Wouldn't saying goodbye to you make her emotional too?" Anna said softly.
The gazes of the entire family were once again focused on Rein!
In that instant, Rein felt as though he had no defense.

After quickly finishing breakfast, Rein went upstairs to the storeroom on the second floor.
According to the arrangent with Jenny, he expected a carriage from the Crowley family to co and pick him up a bit later.

This enhancent in witchcraft power was evident and, as his spiritual power grew, his abilities increased accordingly!
However, Rein also acutely sensed that the comparative increase in power was not linear as the spiritual power increased.
To put it simply, at first, if the spiritual power increased by one point, the ultimate temperature of 'Scorching Touch' might increase by one hundred degrees. But over ti, that increase dropped to eighty degrees, or even seventy degrees, for each additional point of spiritual power.
Though the decrease in this rate of growth was slow, it was definitely occurring.
