After pondering silently for a while, Lord Reine shook his head slightly and chose not to.
At that mont, two cavalryn walked in and bowed respectfully to Lord Reine, pointing to the corpse that was severed into two pieces on the ground, "Lord Reine, this...should we move it outside as well?"
Lord Reine nodded.
With the few bodies from before, he had three pieces of spoils of war he had yet to collect. It was a pity that the one with the strongest strength had 'self-immolated', and the spoils of war had vanished along with the ashes!
Just as Lord Reine was walking out of the church hall.

A familiar voice sounded not far away.

He saw his mother Emma being helped down from the compartnt of a luxurious carriage by the noble lady Jenny.
"How did these two get together?" Reine was instantly confused.
"Reine, are you alright?" His mother Emma hurried forward, scrutinizing Reine's injuries closely,
"Mother, I'm fine! I'm tough, don't worry!" Reine patted his chest confidently.
With his Transcendent trait 'Iron Skin lv2', he estimated that his defensive power wasn't much different from that of the Ironmane Bear. Although he probably wasn't on par with the Bear King, he was indeed tough.
After a careful examination, mother Emma found that it was indeed just charring caused by flas, with no injuries. She let out a long sigh of relief, finally at ease.
"By the way, Reine, this is Miss Jenny, you should know her, right? That was Miss Jenny I saw last ti, wasn't it?" Mother Emma seed to rember sothing and eyed Reine with a sowhat reproachful look.
"Yes, mother, Miss Jenny is my friend." Reine turned to look at Jenny and nodded with a smile.
The certainty in Reine's eyes brought an unexpected joy to Jenny's heart, for she knew that what she had done previously had worked out better than expected.
She cleared her throat and said, "Lord Reine, I just happened to et your mother..."
Jenny briefly explained the situation, and Reine turned to his mother Emma again, seeing her nod slightly, he couldn't help but really acknowledge the lady Jenny before him.
Not everyone would think of the safety of others in a dangerous environnt.
At least from this aspect, Miss Jenny was quite comndable.
"Mother, shall I take you ho first?" Reine thought for a mont, then decided to take his mother ho to rest first.
"Yes, Emma, you must be shocked, take my carriage and go ho to rest a bit earlier," Jenny imdiately agreed.
"Alright, Reine, then you..."
"Mother, I'll accompany you back ho first, and I'll co back later."
Before Reine left, he waved to Matteo, the little fellow, saying, "Matteo, I'll leave this place to you. I'm going to take my mother ho and will co back later."
"Understood, rest assured, Lord Reine! Leave this place to ," Matteo assured him, patting his chest.
Thus, Reine and his mother Emma boarded Jenny's carriage and headed towards ho.
On the carriage, Reine suddenly rembered that Jenny had seemingly co to look for him, but because Flashgold Town was attacked, they hadn't really had a chance to talk properly.
"Right, Miss Jenny, your visit this ti is for?"
"Oh! Lord Reine, I almost forgot, last ti you ntioned to that you wanted to learn script. In addition to the two books last ti, this ti, I happened to find an ancient book written in script in our family's library. I thought you might be interested, so I personally delivered it to you," Jenny explained.
As she spoke, Jenny handed an ancient book with a slightly damaged cover to Reine.
Reine took it and raised an eyebrow in surprise!

Lloyd led the way on his horse, followed by Perez and Alonso with two squads of cavalry, and at the very end were the Baroness Crowley's carriage and guards.
The group moved like a long snake, departing from County Town and making their way swiftly toward Flashgold Town.
Midway through their journey, they encountered a Night Watchman from Flashgold Town heading to report to County Town and hurriedly asked, "Flashgold Town has been attacked?"
"Are you Knight Lloyd?"
"Yes, the Flashgold Town church was suddenly attacked by Cultists during worship, and by now, many residents have been injured or killed!"
The Night Watchman from Flashgold Town, who had seen the person in charge of the Habsburg estate on several occasions, was delighted to speak.
He was the second batch of ssengers Matteo had sent for help.
Since the first group of ssengers had not returned for a long ti, Matteo quickly sent out more personnel.
This Night Watchman left Flashgold Town shortly after Reine had just arrived at the church.
"How many of them are there? Where is the Sheriff Lord Hamilton?" Lloyd asked anxiously.
"Lord Hamilton left for the Nightingale Forest with the church's party this morning."
"What!" Lloyd and Perez looked at each other, both seeing deep concern in the other's eyes!
Flashgold Town might be dood!
Both he and Perez weren't there!
Lord Hamilton wasn't there either!
There was utterly no Transcendent power in the entire Flashgold Town!
Even with the brave ordinary lawn and Night Watchn, it was impossible to hold off Cultists led by Transcendent power.
"Now, who is in charge of Flashgold Town's defense?"
"Uh... the newly promoted Deputy Sheriff, Lord Reine."
