"Go!"

Rein raised his hand with a wave, and the six jagged tal rings flew out in six beautiful arcs, attacking the prototype from behind.

The tal rings rotated at high speed, violently rubbing against the prototype’s plasma shield!

Although the six jagged tal rings also couldn’t penetrate the defense of the plasma shield, Rein’s purpose wasn’t to do so; he aid to create an opportunity for Sword Saint Terrio.

The energy and arc of the plasma shield clearly began to concentrate at the back of the prototype, and the blue shield at the front noticeably dimd.

Seeing this, Sword Saint Terrio, understanding Rein’s intention, seized the opportunity and, after a brief charge, launched a cross sword light at the prototype once more.

It was precisely his killer move, the "Super Divine Cross Slash"!

"Screech!"

The long silver sword light instantly sliced into the weakened plasma shield in front, and without stopping, it sliced the prototype into an X shape.

The middle six-barrel Gatling gun was destroyed, while both arms were completely cut off, effectively disabling the prototype’s offensive ability.

It was clear that Terrio intentionally avoided the control room of the prototype.

Evidently, considering the possibility of Haleem being inside, eroded by the black worms, at least they could bring back his remains.

Sword Saint Terrio flashed and instantly slashed the control room’s shield, but inside was a shriveled goblin.

The only difference from the goblin previously operating the chanical land bird was that this goblin had sothing like a human military rank on its shoulder.

In other words, this was a goblin of relatively high rank.

However, the goblin still had a vacant gaze, clearly unable to communicate.

"Unlucky!" Terrio split it in half and killed the black worm along the way.

"Haleem’s not inside; that’s not necessarily a bad thing."

"Hmm!"

"Let’s go, and make the most of the ti."

Rein noticed that after performing the Super Divine Cross Slash, Terrio’s forehead was slightly sweaty.

....

This ti, a full five minutes had passed without more chanical monsters coming to besiege them.

However, everyone’s attention was not on this matter; they were searching for any trace of survivors.

"Hmm, it should be this location; why is no one here?" Sword Saint Terrio recalled the position of the red signal flare he had seen earlier and couldn’t help but wonder.

"It was just this position monts ago, but now it might not be. Lord Terrio, let’s not forget, the ground here moves." Rein thought for a mont and reminded.

"Then how do we find them? We can’t just wait for them to launch another signal flare, right?"

Terrio frowned for a mont and then, as if recalling sothing, turned and said, "Lord Hernandez, could you use your divination skill?"

"I’m afraid it’s tough; my divination skill can only predict Haleem’s general location. Here, missing by twenty ters might an being off by an entire street," Hernandez shook his head and said.

"Let try; if I’m right, even if they’ve moved, they shouldn’t be too far from here." Rein took over, bending down and gently placing a hand, emitting a dense dark silver light, on the ground.

Terrio and Hernandez both looked at Rein in surprise.

Because they knew Rein was a tal Series Wizard, but they had never heard of any tal series spells used for tracking people.

But soon, they understood.

The next second!

A dark silver tal ripple, centered at Rein’s hand, spread outward like ocean waves.

In an instant, the marble on the ground shattered, and small tal protrusions suddenly grew from below.

Yes, they were protrusions, not spikes!

This was a weakened version of the domain-type Dawn Killing Move "Steel Forest."

Rein had lowered the power of the Steel Forest to its minimum, so the steel protrusions from the ground rose to only about twenty to thirty centiters, extending outward like waves.

Fifty ters!

A hundred ters!

A hundred and fifty ters!

"Pop!"

Suddenly, about a hundred and seventy to eighty ters ahead on the right, cries of surprise from humans appeared out of thin air.

"Found them!"

Rein’s face lit up with joy!

And Terrio and Hernandez naturally understood that they had found the survivors.

...

However, compared to the joy of Rein’s team, within the jamr, people were suddenly panicked and flustered.

Many looked at the flickering dark silver tal ripple on the ground, then jumped as tal protrusions ford on the surface.

"Damn, did launching the signal flare just attract monsters?"

"But so many tis before it didn’t attract anything; why is our luck so bad this ti!"

"These are clearly tal series energy fluctuations, with such a large coverage area, it must be so kind of goblin technology in these ruins."

"The signal flare this ti might have attracted sothing extraordinary."

Even Haleem, the head of the Federation chanical Research Institute, changed his expression when he saw the steel protrusions on the ground.

Not having ti to lant the discrepancies in plans, he quickly cleared his throat and shouted:

"Everyone prepare for combat!"

"When the ti cos, break out in different directions."

"As long as one person can get out, deliver the observation report imdiately."

Hearing Haleem’s words, everyone put on a serious expression, but no one retreated.

Because everyone knew that facing those mummified goblin monsters, surrender was aningless; only fighting to the bitter end mattered.

However, as soon as they rushed out of the camp covered by the jamr, everyone, including Haleem, stopped in their tracks, stunned on the spot.

In their hands or in front of them, still gathered various glowing magical energy orbs, but it was as if they had been petrified, unable to release them.

"Lord Terrio!"

"Lord Hernandez!"

Haleem was both surprised and happy!

As the head of the Federation chanical Research Institute and an older Third Level Crystalized Wizard, he was around Hernandez’s age and even older than Sword Saint Terrio.

He naturally recognized these two contemporaries of the Federation.

However, soon his gaze was drawn to a young man.

The tall young man was bending over, pressing a hand emitting a dense dark silver light on the ground.

Haleem imdiately noticed that the previously widespread tal energy fluctuation emanated from the young man’s hand.

Such a large coverage area! Domain-type magic?

Even as a Crystalization Peak tal Series Wizard, he couldn’t achieve this!

Could the young man be a Dawn Wizard?

But was there such a powerful young wizard in the Federation?

"Haha, Haleem, I knew you were alright," Sword Saint Terrio laughed heartily.

"Old friend, glad you’re safe," Hernandez nodded with a smile.

But quickly, they noticed Haleem’s gaze, staring blankly at Rein, and after exchanging a look, they all laughed.

Terrio heavily patted Haleem’s shoulder, joking, "This young man is Lord Rein of the Empire, a rare tal Series Dawn Wizard. Look at you, at your age, still... sigh~"

"What! Lord Rein of the Empire? But... the reports said he was a Crystalized Wizard, how..." Recovering from his slip of the tongue, Haleem imdiately fell silent.

Rein slowly stood up, not caring about Haleem’s accidental slip, smiled and said, "It seems Lord Haleem knows a lot about ."

"I apologize, Lord Rein. Your astonishing talent is well-known even in the Federation..."

Just as Haleem slightly bowed and spoke flattering words to Rein.

Suddenly, the surroundings began to echo with a dull ’thud-thud’ sound, coming quickly from both the front and back.

Accompanying it was a dense array of clattering sounds.

"Not good; it’s those goblin corpses and chanical monsters!"

"Honored Lords, quickly follow inside."

Haleem hurriedly waved his hand; an invisible barrier in the air revealed a nearby small camp.
