Capítulo 1226: Chapter 414: Twin Shift_2

At this mont, the witch array was becoming increasingly bright, as if it were operating at full capacity.

Above the array, a dark green, fist-sized crystal floated up and down in mid-air, with the energy closely gathering, visible to the naked eye.

‘Crack!’

Suddenly, the crystal shattered, and a watery mirror surface about three to four ters high abruptly appeared above the array.

Through the mirror, a glimpse of the opposite side could be seen: a brilliant starry sky, dense woods, and various tiny black dots flying around like creatures.

At this mont, in front of a group of black-robed individuals, two slender figures in gray robes exchanged glances, smiled slightly, and then walked hand in hand into the mirror.

The two were the ‘Twin Snakes’ siblings, Areda and Ailida, of the Secret Snake Sect.

“Olerian, we entrust this to you,” Areda paused slightly before stepping in and turned to say.

“Rest assured, my lady, we will fight until the last mont!” the elder nad Olerian responded respectfully.

Hearing the elder’s statent, Areda nodded in satisfaction, took her sister Ailida’s hand, and stepped into the mirror together.

As the two disappeared into the mirror, a few seconds later, the energy of the witch array seed depleted and instantly dimd.

“Everyone, prepare for battle!” The elder nad Olerian quickly commanded in a stern voice.

The recent teleportation fluctuation would certainly trigger a quick response from the Empire. They might be unable to withstand it, but dying ans returning to the Divine Country, which is not frightening.

Besides, this was a necessary part of the plan.

“Yes, my lord,” the black-robed individuals responded one after another, quickly starting to take action.

A similar scene occurred repeatedly in multiple locations in the outskirts of the Imperial City.

If one could compare it with the real-ti monitoring map from the Star Mage Platform’s command center, it would be easy to notice that these locations were precisely where orange light spots appeared one after another on the map.

Inside the Dragon Valley Secret Realm.

Rein only felt the world spinning and a sense of weightlessness, and the next mont, he found himself suddenly appearing above a dense forest, his body starting to plumt rapidly.

“Floating Technique.”

With the casting of the Floating Technique, Rein descended slowly from the sky like a feather, taking advantage of this pause to look around.

Although it was night in the secret realm, the brilliant starlight and nurous special glowing creatures allowed Rein to clearly observe his surroundings.

What first caught his eye was the primal forest scene below, reminiscent of the Jurassic period, and in the sky were various enormous and primitive birds, pterodactyls, and countless giant insects.

anwhile, the chirping of insects, the calls of birds, and the roars of beasts were endless.

“No wonder the giant dragons here can grow several tis faster than outside; the ‘blood al’ in this place is so plentiful, it’s a paradise of abundance,” Rein remarked.

“Huh? What is this…” Rein narrowed his eyes, noticing so strange phenona in mid-air.

Besides the stars, there were nurous bizarre cyclone-like objects of varying sizes in the night sky, constantly changing colors, and there seed to be more of them over the distant mountains.

“Could this be a void rift?” Rein wondered, taking a glance around and noting the high ring of towering mountains in the extre distance, while on his right side, there was a Fla Mountain billowing smoke.

“Primal forest, Fla Mountain.”

After a brief consideration and recalling the description of the Dragon Valley Secret Realm he had reviewed earlier, Rein imdiately judged that he should be located at the center of the basin, slightly to the west.

“This feeling…”

As he slowly landed, Rein keenly sensed that a particular energy perated the secret realm everywhere.

If it were before the crystallization, he might have found perceiving it rather difficult.

But now, Rein could clearly feel so strange radiation filling the forest, and it seed to be causing a beneficial transformation in his body, making his cells more active.

Just monts ago, he assud that the rapid growth of adolescent giant dragons within the secret realm was due to the abundant ‘blood al.’

But now, it seed that might not be the primary reason.

More likely, it was due to this unique radiation energy.

This energy acted like how, in a past life’s laboratory, special light radiation strengthened vegetable photosynthesis, accelerating their growth.

“Buzz!”

Suddenly, a vibrating sound ca from Rein’s side, growing louder and nearer rapidly!

“Swoosh!”

In a blink, the Hardened Essence Gold in Rein’s hand transford into a longsword, and with a flash of silvery arc light, it easily cleaved the creature that just ambushed him into two.

“Thud!”

The sound of a heavy object falling to the ground echoed!

It was a dragonfly over a ter long, and now, split in half, its nervous system was still instinctively functioning, causing its limbs and wings to twitch non-stop on the ground.

“Not bad, indeed strong, though not a fierce species, it had speed and strength close to that of an official knight,” Rein mused.

“This must be the result of radiation mutation, right?” Rein pondered to himself.

At this mont, Rein suddenly recalled sothing. He took out a thin liaison device from his pocket, given by Major General Tatia earlier.

On the thin piece, three small bright dots were clearly displayed, moving slowly, with three small triangles forming an equilateral triangle and a small square.

Rein understood that the three small bright dots represented the three ‘Rift Closers’ ntioned by Tatia.

Currently, the mission personnel should each be carrying a ‘Rift Closer,’ heading toward their intended targets—the directions indicated by the three small triangles.
