"Splat!"
Rein’s figure flickered, and suddenly he appeared before the second Evil Fire Elent, reaching out with his hand like a venomous snake.
Next ca the third one...
One per second!
In just three seconds, Rein slew three Evil Fire Elents, which in Alicia’s view, required several people working together to barely manage.
Seeing Rein’s clean and efficient maneuvers, Alicia felt as if she had been struck by lightning, unable to regain her senses for a long ti!
Her beautiful eyes repeatedly scanned Rein, seemingly wanting to acquaint herself anew with this ’junior’, and in her eyes was a mix of shock, surprise, and disbelief.
Seeing Rein reveal his power voluntarily, Audrey imdiately bowed slightly and said, "Lord Rein, what shall we do next?"
"Audrey, you... what did you just call him, Lord Rein?"
Alicia finally snapped out of her daze upon hearing Audrey’s words.
Upon hearing Audrey’s address, she imdiately realized that Audrey seed to have known her mysterious junior’s identity for so ti.
"You... you already knew Rein... Lord Rein’s identity?" Alicia couldn’t help but ask aloud, also using formal address.
"Yes, but Alicia, my senior sister, I’m really sorry. According to the wishes of the ntor and the Sect Leader, Lord Rein’s identity is top secret."
Saying this, Audrey’s pale chin lifted slightly, making her slender, white neck look like that of a swan.
As if saying, only three people in the school know Lord Rein’s identity, and I’m one of them.
Upon hearing this, Alicia fell silent.
All this ti, such a solid leg to cling to was right before her eyes, yet she was busy seeking Paul out instead. She must be blind!
But then she thought again, no, that’s not right!
Though she had only just learned of Rein’s true identity, she didn’t offend him or anything—she rely called herself his sister, and normally was quite kind and attentive.
So what is there to worry about?
The next mont, Alicia suddenly gave a charming smile, quickly walking to Rein’s side and saying, "Lord Rein, I apologize for not recognizing your identity earlier."
"Thankfully you exposed Paul as a hypocritical scoundrel, otherwise Audrey and I would have been deceived."
Alicia’s words left Audrey montarily stunned!
Who was deceived?
Clearly it was you, why drag into it?
However, Audrey didn’t dwell on this point but instead asked Rein, saying, "By the way, Lord Rein, shouldn’t we go help now?"
"No rush, let’s wait a bit longer; the school is not as unprepared as you think. Moreover..."
"The mastermind hasn’t shown up yet. If we act too early, we might frighten them away." Rein said with a slight smile.
Rein’s words made the two won beside him look at each other in astonishnt.
Frighten the opponent so they don’t dare to co?
Isn’t that too bold a statent?
Just who exactly is this mysterious ’junior’? Alicia’s heart felt like it was being lightly scratched by a cat’s paw.
"Ah? You’re saying the tunnel burst wasn’t by chance, but soone is manipulating it from behind the scenes?" Audrey exclaid.
"Yes, although I don’t know exactly what thods they are using, there is undoubtedly manipulation." Rein nodded.
"Alright, let’s find cover for now."
After speaking, Rein led the way to the edge of an open space, bypassing so jagged rocks, then shaped the Hardened Essence Gold in his hand into a Greatsword, swiftly carving a recess in the dark brown rock wall of the canyon suitable for the three to hide.
Once the three entered, he reshaped the Hardened Essence Gold to form a door-like blockade at the entrance.
Amidst the aromatic breeze, Alicia’s full, soft body subtly leaned towards Rein’s side.
At this point, through a reserved breathing hole in the Hardened Essence Gold, the three heard heavy footsteps, ’thud thud thud’, coming from outside.
"What is this..." Alicia’s face revealed surprise, speaking in a low voice.
"Hellfire rock giants," Audrey said firmly, nodding.
There appeared a five-ter-tall rock giant, its whole body ablaze with pale green flas, striding towards the direction of the school camp.
With each step it took, its several-ton body left behind a clear, several-inches-deep, charred round footprint!
Following it, another four erged in succession.
And, judging by the noise, there seed to be a few more coming later.
"Hiss~ so many!"
"This surpasses last ti, doesn’t it?" Alicia’s beautiful eyes widened, and she murmured under her breath.
Originally, she thought the tunnel disturbances this ti might be similar to the previous incident, but judging by the current number of Hellfire rock giants, it’s already more than last ti, not just slightly more, but nearly half again.
"Lord Rein, do you think the school camp can hold them off?" Audrey said, her eyebrows knitting in concern.
With Rein beside her, Audrey wasn’t worried about her own safety but as a mber of the school, she didn’t wish to see excessive casualties there.
"It’s unlikely to be a major problem, the camp is prepared. Shortly, we’ll head over." Rein reassured.
A few minutes later, the commotion from the Hellfire rock giants began to settle.
Rein then retracted the Hardened Essence Gold before him, quickly leading the two won towards the camp. After navigating several turns, the camp ca into clear view.
All around the camp, there were boulder crashes reverberating, intermingled with green flas and various Witchcraft Lights.
