Chapter 1019: Chapter 356: The Fall of the Hard-Shelled Lobstern (Double-Length Chapter) (Part 2)

Rein watched this scene and found the siblings quite interesting.

The brother was calm and composed, experienced and skillful, while the sister seed a bit overbearing, lively and spirited. Their personalities were quite different.

“Lord Rein, may I ask which Wizard School you belong to?” Fandar couldn’t help but ask out of curiosity.

“I ca from Winterfort Academy,” Rein answered ambiguously.

Rein didn’t care to lie.

Moreover, he had indeed set out from Winterfort Academy, traveling all the way to Wailing Wind Fjord.

“Nonsense! Everyone knows Winterfort Academy is famous for its rare Ice Mages,” Georgia couldn’t help but roll her eyes at Rein and interjected.

“Oh? Lord Rein ca from Winterfort Academy? I once dealt with an associate dean there, a middle-aged woman nad Wei…” Fandar appeared thoughtful.

“You an Associate Dean Werti?”

“Yes, yes! Exactly, Lady Werti. It seems Lord Rein really is from Winterfort Academy,” Fandar nodded repeatedly, and his wariness mostly dissipated.

If it was Winterfort Academy’s Dean Batalov, most rcenaries on Frostwind Prairie knew this prominent figure, but by comparison, Associate Dean Werti was far less known.

If one wasn’t familiar, they likely wouldn’t know her.

“Are you really from Winterfort Academy? I just can’t believe it!” Georgia’s eyes widened as she repeatedly sized up Rein, murmuring to herself.

Rein glanced at Georgia, smiling slightly, but had no intention of explaining.

However, Rein’s attitude made Georgia so angry that her teeth itched.

“Leader, ahead is the Crustacean Humanoids’ gathering place,” reported a ranger responsible for scouting up front.

Rein looked into the distance and saw many giant, upright-walking lobster creatures in the nearby swamp.

As for being human, they barely resembled human form.

Calling them lobster humanoids was more like elongated coconut crabs.

They had four pairs of legs, an upright waist shell over a ter tall, followed by a chest and a pair of giant claws, with matchstick-sized eyes that looked quite lively.

“I wonder what this would taste like grilled?” was the first thought that rose in Rein’s mind upon seeing them.

Initially, Rein thought they were so human-lobster hybrid, but seeing them now, he figured he wouldn’t have any psychological barrier to eating them.

“Lord Rein, do you need a rest? These Crustacean Humanoids have very high defense with their thick shells. We might need your help with ‘Sharpness Technique,'” Fandar smiled at Rein and asked.

The mbers of the Ice Claw Bear team suddenly looked enlightened!

No wonder their leader had always been courteous to Rein, perhaps even a bit eager to please.

With Lord Rein’s ‘Sharpness Technique,’ who needs a whetstone? There’s entirely no need for soone to wear an expensive steel suit and tower shield up front.

Just shoot directly!

Everyone, including Georgia, gazed at Rein as if he was a treasure.

“No need, Captain Fandar, shall we start now?” Rein smiled and nodded.

“That’s great!” Fandar couldn’t help but exclaim with joy.

“Lord Rein, could you cast it on first?” asked the archer who recently had success shooting down the Iron-beaked Sea Eagle.

“Herb, Lord Rein just gave you a chance; you should let others try too,” soone imdiately interrupted.

“Yes! Lord Rein, let us also….”

Instantly, everyone rushed with arrows, even the two Tower Shield Warriors brought their Knight’s Longswords close to Rein, hoping he could apply the Sharpness Technique.

After all, they were concerned that if Rein’s spiritual power was exhausted, their turn wouldn’t co.

Georgia also held out an arrow to Rein, looking sowhat embarrassed, keeping her head down. Clearly, her body didn’t want to give in too quickly, but she couldn’t resist her eager heart.

Seeing the typical tsundere look on the girl, Rein couldn’t help but find it amusing.

“Everyone, don’t rush, there’s a chance for everyone. Don’t worry, I have enough spiritual power to cast the Sharpness Technique.”

“Please line up and wait for your turn,” Rein said with a smile.

In just a few seconds, more than ten people lined up obediently, and Rein quickly began chanting and casting.

With the Sharpness Technique lasting a minute, Fandar saw three archers ard with the Sharpness Technique and imdiately led them to attack the Crustacean Humanoids’ patrol team.

“Whoosh!”

An archer released the bowstring, a silver streak pierced through the hardest chest armor of a Crustacean Humanoid, exiting through the back shell.

A lethal blow!

As long as the aim is precise, these Crustacean Humanoids were shot down one by one!

Easier than shooting a rabbit.

Three to four people per group, and repeating this cycle, the Ice Claw Bear rcenary Group inflicted heavy losses on the Crustacean Humanoids’ camp.

Their proudest defenses and giant claw attacks had no chance to co into play, falling to the improved Sharpness Technique-enhanced arrows.
