A year after Lily had given birth…
Two adorable gluttons carefully snuck into the Royal Palace, making sure they wouldn't be discovered.
"The coast is clear," Maple said after peeking in the hallway and seeing no one around.
"Roger!" Cinnamon replied.
A mont later, they carefully walked until they arrived at the next intersection.
"Cinnamon sees no one! All clear!" Cinnamon reported.
"Good!" Maple nodded, continuing their journey.
Upon arriving at the final hallway, where their two targets were located, the pair of twins finally t two obstacles.
"Two Catkins are guarding the door," Maple whispered. "Can you handle one of them?"
"If it's only one, I can do it with my eyes closed," Cinnamon replied.
"Then, on the count of three."
"One, two… three!"
The two adorable gluttons then threw two pills at their targets simultaneously.
The Catkins imdiately sensed the danger looming upon them and swiftly reacted to avoid the pills thrown at them.
However, they didn't expect the two pills to explode in a cloud of blue mist, which imdiately enveloped the two of them.
Half a minute later, the sound of two people collapsing on the floor reached the twins' ears.
Maple and Cinnamon carefully approached the two sleeping guards, who got a whiff of the special sleeping pills made by the Sin of Sloth, who was also one of their mothers.
"Mission complete!" Cinnamon gave a salute to her sister, and the latter responded with a salute of her own.
"Ti to clean the evidence!" Maple opened her mouth and sucked in the two sleeping Catkins, storing them in a safe compartnt inside her stomach.
Since they couldn't afford to let anyone see the two unconscious Catkins on the floor, they decided to take the two unfortunate souls with them for the ti being.
After dealing with this matter, the two opened the door with excited looks on their faces.
Two one-year-old boys, who were crawling on top of a thick carpet, looked in their direction.
The mont the two babies saw the two girls, one of them hurriedly crawled away and headed at the corner of the room.
Cinnamon hurriedly went to catch the baby trying to escape and picked him up from the carpet.
"Fufufu, where do you think you're going, Zayne?" Cinnamon asked with a smile. "You're a hundred years too young to run away from ."
"Zach, have you been well?" Maple picked up the other baby, who didn't run away, and kissed his cheek. "I missed you, you know?"
Cinnamon imitated her sister and tried to kiss Zayne, but the latter held up his hands and blocked the little girl's lips, preventing her from kissing him.
Instead of being angry, Cinnamon only giggled and even kissed Zayne's hands, making the baby cry.
However, since their Protectors were currently imprisoned, no one was able to hear his attempt to ask for help.
"Don't cry," Cinnamon said softly, kissing the baby's cheek. "I ca to bring you sothing good."
The little girl slowly sat on the carpet and held Zayne gently, supporting him to a lying position.
She then took out a milk bottle from her storage ring and showed it to Zayne, who imdiately stopped crying after seeing the milk bottle.
A smile appeared on Cinnamon's face the mont the baby in her arms stopped crying.
"Cinnamon worked hard to ask Mama Ella to give so milk, you know?" Cinnamon said. "It took us a month to convince her, so you should be grateful I brought you sothing good to drink."
She then allowed the baby to hold the milk bottle and drink from it.
A mont later, Zayne closed his eyes as he sucked on it greedily. Clearly, he liked the taste of the milk. As Cinnamon watched him, the smile on her face widened.
"You're a really good boy, Zach," Maple said as she, too, gave the baby in her hands a milk bottle, also filled with the divine milk that would nourish the baby's body.
Ti passed slowly within the quiet room as the twins watched the baby in their arms empty their milk bottle until not a single drop of it was left.
"Good boy," Cinnamon said as she took the empty baby bottle away.
She then propped Zayne to rest his head on her shoulder before lightly rubbing his back, allowing him to burp.
When that was done, she once again held him in her arms.
She then humd a lullaby, while swaying side to side.
Zayne, who was now full and satisfied, slowly closed his eyes.
It didn't take long for him to fall asleep, but Cinnamon didn't stop singing him a lullaby.
Maple, who was also doing the sa, looked at the cute baby in her hands, unable to stop herself from kissing Zach's chubby cheeks.
A few minutes later, the two girls gently laid the sleeping babies on the thick carpet and covered them with a blanket.
"I'll visit you again, okay?" Cinnamon said softly before kissing Zayne's chubby cheeks. "Next ti, don't run away from ."
After making sure that the baby was sleeping comfortably, Cinnamon glanced at her sister, who had also finished tucking Zach in his sleep.
The two then left the room quietly.
The mont they closed the door, Maple spat out the two Catkin Protectors.
"They will wake up soon," Maple said. "I already devoured the mories they have of us, so they'll wake up not knowing how they fell asleep."
"Then let's go~" Cinnamon giggled as she and her sister opened a portal to return to their own world.
A few seconds after the two girls stepped into the portal, the two guards finally stirred.
"Ugh… what happened?"
"We fell asleep?"
The guards should have imdiately noticed sothing was wrong since they realized they had fallen asleep as soon as they regained consciousness.
But Maple made sure to also devour their "common sense," which would return to them after a few minutes.
By then, they would have already moved on from wondering why they had fallen asleep.
However, there was one person in Atlantis who noticed what had transpired.
"Hah… those two girls really make people anxious," Leviathan, who saw Maple and Cinnamon enter the childrens' playroom, muttered.
Since he already knew who they were, he was certain that they didn't co to harm Zach and Zayne.
In fact, they even talked to Leviathan a week ago and told him to make sure that their future husbands would be safe until their next visit.
Deep inside, Leviathan was feeling amused and was wondering how the fathers of the twin boys and girls would react after finding out that the future partners of their children had already been decided by the two adorable gluttons who could traverse ti and space.
