Seated on the throne, Zabab wore a brooding expression on his face.

rely a third of the Plague Faction's Territory remained.

Since only three Progenitors were left on their side, the factions who didn't get along with them took this opportunity to swallow up as many territories as fast as they could.

Zabab also knew they couldn't keep all of their territories, given their ager manpower, so he decided to form alliances with Factions who had a neutral stance.

No one wanted to push the Plague Faction to a corner, so the opportunists who took over so territories belonging to the forr stopped after taking a few worlds.

They didn't want to have a full-blown clash against the Plague Faction and their new allies either, so they quickly put an end to their expansion.

The Factions who agreed to ally with Zabab were quite happy with this developnt. They got several realms for free without offending anyone or doing anything.

And thus, while Ethan was unconscious, Zabab had managed to keep a third of their territories.

Still, the Progenitor was very frustrated with such an outco.

Their Faction, which others feared in the past, had been reduced to this current state.

The humiliation he and the survivors of their faction felt couldn't be described in words.

"I'll make you pay for this, Ethan Gremory!" Zabab clenched his fist so hard that cracking sounds spread inside the room. "I'll kill you myself!"

With a hateful roar, he smashed his fist on the table in front of him, destroying it completely.

Just as he was about to leave his room, he heard a loud cracking sound surrounding him.

At first, Zabab thought it was the echoes of him destroying the table. However, the panicked shout of his subordinates from outside of his fortress let him know otherwise.

Hurrying to the window, Zabab saw his people pointing toward the sky, prompting him to look up as well.

His eyes widened in shock when he saw a crack.

'Damn! Do those greedy fools really want to fight us to the death?!' Zabab glared at the crack in the sky in anger.

He assud the crack was made by the Factions who had invaded their worlds, thinking they must've decided to take what was left of their territories as they no longer found the Plague Faction a threat.

"Fine!" Zabab roared. "Co! I'll kill you all! Don't think the Plague Faction is a pushover!"

The two other remaining Progenitors—Aplu, who had the power to unleash plague and suffering, and Adad, whose destructive powers were second only to Zabab—appeared beside their leader.

"It seems they're looking down on us too much," Aplu stated.

"Then we'll just show them what we are made of," Adad growled. "Even if I die, I'm going to take two or three of them down with . That way, it will be their turn to be hunted down by the other Factions!"

Zabab, who had the sa thought as Adad, grinned fearlessly.

"Aplu, the mont they appear, unleash your plague," Zabab ordered. "It may not be able to kill them, but it will be enough to weaken them."

Aplu nodded before looking at her subordinates. "All of you, small fries, distance yourselves if you don't want to die!"

The Armies of the Plague Faction knew just how devastating Aplu was when she was fighting to the death.

And they knew with every fiber of their being that their Masters were preparing to do just that.

As the cracks in the sky widened, spreading like spider web, Aplu spread her arms wide, gathering green mists that ford into a very dense cloud of plague and pestilence.

Although her ability wasn't as strong as Erra's, who was captured by Ashdai, it was still quite deadly even for Progenitors if they faced it unprepared.

'Co!' Aplu sneered.

The mont a hole appeared in the sky, she would imdiately unleash her Plague Cloud, which was sure to give their uninvited guests a special welco.

She didn't have to wait long as half a minute later, several pieces of the sky fell, the sign that their enemies were about to invade them.

Wasting no ti to give their enemies montum, Aplu waved her hand, sending the Plague Cloud toward the hole at great speed.

But just as the dust cloud was about to reach the hole, hellish flas burst out from it, colliding with the Progenitor's plague cloud.

When the two abilities clashed with each other, the Plague Cloud imdiately combusted, resulting in a fiery mushroom head in the sky that sent shockwaves to the ground.

'Damn it!' Zabab, who understood what just happened, cursed internally.

It seed that they weren't the only ones planning to launch a surprise attack the mont the hole appeared in the sky.

Since the Plague Cloud was flammable by nature, the aftermath wasn't in the Plague Faction's favor.

The hellish flas spread far and wide, turning the heavens into a fiery inferno.

The armies of the Plague Faction that distanced themselves from the Fortress were still blown away by the shockwaves, breaking their battle formation.

Zabab and Adad had already taken their fighting stance, raising their battle prowess to the limit.

"We just have to hold our ground until our allies arrive!" Aplu shouted. "Delay the battle as long as possible!"

Since they had ford a defensive alliance with the Factions whom they offered their territories to, they were obligated to send help to them as part of their agreent.

This was why those who coveted their territories hesitated—they didn't want to bite off more than they could chew.

Just as the three Progenitors were having these thoughts, sothing erged from the blazing sky, making their faces turn grim.

A very familiar floating city appeared, and Zabab and the others recognized it instantly.

"Ethan Gremory!" Zabab roared in anger. "Since you want to die that badly, I'm going to grant your wish!"

How could the Plague Faction ever forget the ancient City of Atlantis, which had made its debut in the Akkadian Realm?

Since it had appeared, it only ant one thing.

The Prince of Atlantis had co for revenge, and the Plague Faction was more than happy to settle their score with the bastard, who was responsible for their downfall.
