Chapter 359: Chapter 212: Wizard·Original (3 Stars) _2

"Selena later beca a top Great Wizard with significant achievents in biology and mutation studies. It is said she created countless unique life forms, so of which still thrive in certain hidden realms.

Despite her outward appearance becoming extrely distorted and horrifying, her spirit and consciousness remained clear and stable, never descending into madness or chaos."

Lady Allen turned to the next page, pointing to a silhouette composed of countless black threads, which no longer bore any human characteristics.

Those threads extended beyond the image, as if they could connect to every corner of the real world.

"’Elder’ Calix, born in the middle to late Third Era, possesses two Special Talents: ’Result Preview’ and ’Causality Severance’.

The first allows him to simulate the detailed process of future possible outcos in the Spiritual World;

The second enables him to sever specific chains of causality, preventing certain events from occurring."

"At twenty-nine, Calix chose to envision the ’Weaver’, a legendary extra-dinsional being controlling the lines of causality.

Ordinary People, and even ordinary Wizards, attempting to contact such beings are often overwheld by infinite possible outcos, their spirit completely collapsing.

But Calix not only succeeded, he also gained the ditation Technique trait of ’Cause and Effect Inversion’, allowing him to reverse causality relations under specific conditions, causing results to precede causes."

Ron’s heart stirred.

Reverse causality relations?

This truly exceeds all his imagination of power.

If one could master such an ability, it would be akin to possessing so degree of control over fate.

"Calix advanced to beco a Dark Sun Wizard, and after transplanting the ’Elder Eye Demon’ Star Ring Bloodline, he beca nearly invincible.

For he always knew every step of his opponent’s actions in advance and formulated the optimal response strategy accordingly.

On one occasion, an enemy of the sa level prepared to launch an attack on him, only to find themselves already trapped in a pre-set trap by Calix before making a move."

Ron felt a stir in his heart but did not interrupt Lady Allen’s account.

"Researchers in the Wizard World have yet to fully explain why Special Talents can significantly improve the success rate of the Path of Truth."

Lady Allen shook her head, seemingly feeling a slight regret over this lack of knowledge.

"The most mainstream theory suggests that Special Talents are essentially unique points of soul alignnt with the cosmic laws, like a Key opening a specific door lock.

When a person possesses multiple Special Talents, their soul has more ’languages’ to dialogue with the deep structure of the universe, enabling better understanding and acceptance of the fragnts of great beings’ will."

"In reality," Lady Allen suddenly lowered her voice, her expression becoming unusually solemn:

"About two thousand five hundred years ago, Master Gward of the School of the Stars conducted a secret research project attempting to parse the intrinsic connections between different Special Talents.

He proposed the ’Talent Lineage’ theory, arguing that all Special Talents actually originate from a few Original Talents, manifesting differently in various individuals."

She leaned forward slightly, her voice so low it was almost indistinct:

"This research was later forcibly halted by the School Alliance, with all data sealed, and Gward himself mysteriously disappeared.

Rumor has it, his research touched upon secrets that should not be revealed, threatening so foundation of the Wizard World."

Ron listened quietly, gaining an entirely new understanding of the Special Talents he possessed.

"Actually, there is also a very ancient legend..." Lady Allen continued, her expression growing more stern:

"Believe that all Special Talents are in fact bestowed by the initial ’Demon God’. Those Demon Gods, in order to observe and understand various possibilities in the Multiverse, transford parts of their traits into talents, granting them to mortal beings.

This viewpoint suggests that Special Talents are indeed ’anchors’ of the Demon Gods, allowing them to indirectly perceive and influence the physical world through those gifted with talents."

She shook her head, a hint of worry flashing in her eyes:

"Of course, this is just one of the oldest legends, with no concrete evidence to support it.

Nevertheless, it is undeniable that those with multiple Special Talents are often able to tread further and higher on the Path of the Extraordinary, as if so invisible force is propelling them."

Ron silently absorbed this information, weighing various possibilities in his heart.

If talents are indeed so sort of ’anchors’ of higher beings, does utilizing talents to gain power an accepting so unknown connection or influence?

This is a question that requires careful consideration.

And just at this mont, the semi-transparent panel appeared again:
