Chapter 315: Chapter 197: Starry Whisperer_3

Holt’s clones controlled the Earth Elental Golem to charge ahead, providing cover for the other clones;

The Lina clone remained in the center, maintaining the Spiritual Link while commanding dozens of light spheres for long-range attacks.

Their coordination was seamless, like an elite squad trained for years.

The Crystal Tower Squad imdiately assud a defensive posture, but the clones’ coordination was incredibly fluent, and they seed to predict every move.

Jacqueline’s Flash Net was evaded in advance, Noren’s Silk Thread Trap missed, and even Eliot’s Wind Blade barely scratched a few clones.

In less than ten minutes, Eliot’s squad was driven back continuously, forced to retreat to the platform’s edge.

Their defense was on the brink of collapse, while the clones grew braver with each battle, each attack more fierce than the last.

"This won’t do!" Eliot frowned, quickly pondering counterasures.

If they continued to defend passively, they would be picked off one by one sooner or later. They had to break out of this situation to reverse the tide of battle.

Suddenly, he recalled a thod that might turn the tide.

"Everyone, execute the ’Star Fall’ plan!"

Eliot issued the command, while retrieving a small hexagonal crystal device from his Storage Bag.

This precious Alchemy Item, "Starry Whisperer," borrowed from his family’s treasury, contained a processed and weakened Starry Sky Raving within.

The raw materials for creating such a device were extrely rare, requiring special tals extracted from teorites falling from the starry sky, then undergoing complex Alchemy procedures for modulation.

Lastly, a Wizard with exceptionally powerful and stable Spiritual Power was needed to seal the captured raving syllables inside.

The entire process not only required consuming massive resources but also carried extrely high risks.

It’s said a genius Alchemist once sealed the ravings but due to fluctuations in Spiritual Power, got rebounded by the starry sky’s force, turning into an empty shell that endlessly repeated those mysterious syllables, eventually executed by the School.

Because of this, there were less than twenty of such devices in the entire Crystal Tower, each worth a fortune, truly a strategic resource.

Normally, this device was used against certain Abyssal entities, as the Starry Sky Ravings naturally suppressed Abyssal Power.

But through his research, he found it effective against any entity or being with Abyssal Traits.

Unless absolutely necessary, Eliot wouldn’t easily use this precious item.

After all, using it once would deplete much of its energy, requiring a long ti to recharge.

Based on his judgnt, these clones evidently bore certain features of Abyssal entities and should be equally affected.

Eliot swiftly explained his plan to everyone:

"If everything goes as I suspect, these clones under the link will fall into ntal chaos in a short ti, and that’s our best chance for counterattack!"

Lina nodded in understanding, her fingers slightly moving to strengthen the Spiritual Link among the squad mbers.

Her eyes closed and opened, a faint purple light flashed in her pupils, marking her full exertion of her Talent Ability.

Eliot took a deep breath, cradling the crystal device, injecting a trace of Spiritual Power.

The hexagonal crystal began to vibrate slightly, the runes on its surface gradually lighting up, forming a complex Energy Circuit.

"Starry Whisperer, activate!"

The red crystal core at the center of the device emitted a blinding light, resonating with an eerie low hum.

This sound seed not to co from the physical world but impacted directly on the deepest part of the soul.

Each tone seed to contain incomprehensible ssages, making one feel awe involuntarily.

Eliot could sense an unfamiliar, ancient power releasing from the device, aid directly at the clone Lina.

Although this raving was weakened, it still bore a chilling oppression.

Like ancient murmurs from the depths of the distant starry sky, each syllable seed to contain the possibility of distorting reality.

The effect was almost instantaneous.

The clone Lina suddenly showed a look of agony, clutching her head, her body shaking violently.

At the sa ti, the surrounding clones exhibited similar symptoms.

Evidently affected through the Spiritual Link.

Their movents beca sluggish and uncoordinated, attacks losing their prior accuracy.

"So it is..." Eliot displayed a confirming expression as expected:

"The clone Lina’s inspiration is similar to our Lina’s, particularly adept at perceiving various information, but this also makes her more sensitive to the Starry Sky Ravings."

He turned to his teammates:

"Now’s the ti! While they’re ntally chaotic, defeat your corresponding clones, we must first acquire bloodline enhancent, to avoid prolonged delay and dreams."

Just as Eliot was about to lead the squad into a counterattack, his acute large ears suddenly began to tremble violently.

The frequency was so high that the edge of his ears turned blurry.

A bone-chilling fear instantly pierced his entire body, like an invisible ice spike, directly stabbing his heart.

That feeling wasn’t ordinary terror, but a profound fear from life’s deepest instincts, like a mouse in despair facing a python.

"Sothing’s off! I must sever the Spiritual Link!"

Eliot’s voice brimd with unprecedented urgency while instinctively severing his Spiritual Link with Lina.

His "Wind Listener" ability was passively activated, indicating an impending threat even beyond his estimated range.

It was a soul-deep warning, alerting him of a mortal danger approaching.

Before the other team mbers could react, a shadow at the far end of the platform slowly walked out.

It was a delicate-looking youth, seemingly plain and sowhat frail, hard to notice among a crowd.
