Chapter 185: Chapter 143: Devourer

Ron gently picked up the letter from the desk and broke open the wax seal bearing the official stamp of the school.

The golden wax seal shattered, revealing the neatly folded letter inside.

The content of the letter was concise and clear: A week later, a quarterly Candidate Wizard sequence evaluation eting would be held in the Seventh Assembly Hall of the Central High Tower.

All sequence mbers must attend, and specific tis will be notified by a ssenger later.

The letter also specifically ntioned that this eting would announce changes in the points ranking and might adjust the internal structure of the sequence.

"Is it finally starting?" Ron held the letter, a hint of anticipation flashing in his eyes.

The quarterly evaluation of the Candidate Wizard sequence is an extrely important activity within the school.

At this event, each sequence mber must undergo a comprehensive assessnt of their performance over the past quarter by the Official Wizards.

Those who perford well will leap in ranking, while those who did not may face the risk of demotion or even expulsion.

"My ranking has already improved to the top seventeen last ti. Entering the top fifteen this ti shouldn’t be a problem."

Ron placed the letter back on the table and began planning his work for the next few days in his mind.

"The ti isn’t long, so I need to hurry. The current key directions are..."

He started quickly listing the priorities in his mind:

Bloodline modulation skills, Ring of Brilliance magic, Extraordinary Recognition, advanced Magic Potion Making, and many parts that need consolidation.

After contemplating for a mont, Ron decided to dedicate more of his limited ti to bloodline modulation skills.

"There are still two Autophagic Sli Monsters left, which, if designed properly, should be enough to help

break through to the Skilled Level."

He returned to the laboratory and took out two containers holding the last two Autophagic Sli Monsters.

These two Sli Monsters were stable in shape, semi-transparent, floating quietly in the nutrient solution, occasionally trembling slightly, like breathing.

Ron adopted a more complex experintal design:

First, he added a small sample of his own blood to the first Sli Monster, guiding his Red Blood Flying Dragon bloodline energy into the Sli Monster’s body;

Then, he added a drop of Dale’s Fish Scale Extract, trying to fuse the Sea Siren’s Water Elent Affinity;

Finally, he added a trace of "Fusion Adhesive" to promote the fusion of the two seemingly opposing bloodlines.

"If I can successfully fuse my Red Blood Flying Dragon bloodline and Dale’s Sea Siren bloodline in the Sli Monster, then I’ll have a reliable reference model for future modulation on Dale."

The experint was carried out with extre caution, and Ron precisely controlled the energy flow and import speed at each step.

The color of the Sli Monster constantly changed, turning crimson first, and then gradually mixing in deep blue.

Finally, stabilized by the adhesive, it settled into a purplish-red state with both scale-like texture and a watery flow.

The experint on the second Sli Monster was even more daring.

Ron attempted to simultaneously introduce four different micro bloodline samples — the feathers of a Wind Demon, scales of a Fire Lizard, skin flakes of a Water Snake Man, and a trace of Tree Spirit Essence collected from Ailan.

This was an unprecedentedly complex fusion attempt, far more difficult than any previous experints.

"Theoretically, such a multi-fusion is almost impossible to succeed, but if I can find the correct balance point..."

Ron mobilized all his spiritual power, controlling the input amount and sequence of each bloodline energy with unprecedented precision.

First, the Plant Elent Tree Spirit Essence, as the foundational frawork;

Then, the Water Elent Water Snake Man skin flakes, forming initial symbiosis with the plant; Next, the Wind Elent feathers to add fluidity;

Finally, the Fire Elent scales, igniting the entire system in extrely small doses.

At first, the Sli Monster shook violently, its colors flashing chaotically, seemingly on the verge of collapse.

But under Ron’s unwavering spiritual control, the chaos gradually subsided, and the colors rged layer by layer.

Finally forming a peculiar rainbow-like structure, various elents were neatly arranged within the Sli Monster, existing both independently and harmoniously coexisting.

"Succeeded! Just a bit more, and the next experint should achieve a breakthrough."

Ron let out a soft breath, the beads of sweat on his forehead finally slipping down.

Looking at the two successful experintal products on the table and the seven already inert experintal items beside them, Ron fell into thought.

"These failed experintal subjects have completely lost activity and have no further research value. However, bringing them to the school’s resource recovery site should allow

to exchange them for so Magic Stone Fragnts."

He carefully gathered the seven already dead Sli Monsters and placed them in a specially made sealed bag.

Despite having no activity, the residual bloodline energies in these failures still needed to be handled with caution to avoid accidental contamination.

Ron carried the sealed bag to the hallway and happened to see Lilia guiding Dale in practicing simple Water Elent Control.

"Lilia, if you’re free, could you help

take these to the school’s resource recovery site?"

Ron lifted the bag in his hand: "These are the failed products of the experint, completely dead, but can still be exchanged for so Magic Stone Fragnts."

Lilia nodded: "Of course, teacher. I’ll handle it in a mont."

Having assigned the task, Ron quickly turned back towards the laboratory door; his ti was limited, and he still needed to work on those Magic Potion orders.

Just then, Dale, who had been focused on the Water Elent Ball, suddenly stopped her action.

Her tiny nose twitched slightly, as if she slled sothing that attracted her.
