Chapter 169: Chapter 135: Shock Burst

The morning sun filtered through the stained glass window, casting mottled patterns on the ground.

Ron arrived early to the classroom, choosing an inconspicuous spot to sit down.

Today was the first class after the Spiritual Control course was upgraded to an advanced course. Students were gradually arriving, mostly Interdiate Apprentices, with a few Advanced Apprentices.

Unlike the noise in the basic courses, the atmosphere here was noticeably more solemn, with everyone more focused on the knowledge.

"Are these the geniuses of the Candidate Wizard sequence?" Ron looked around, silently assessing potential competitors in his mind.

Each student exuded an extraordinary aura, with confidence and pride evident in their manner and speech.

Compared to the basic course, the number of students in this class was much fewer, only twelve, but the quality was evidently much higher.

Of course, there were also people not in the Candidate Wizard sequence. In the sequence, many, like Holt, Oliver, and Cynthia, had already completed this course.

Those in the Candidate Wizard sequence studying here mostly entered the sequence in recent years, like Ron.

Ron noticed that Trish was not among them, possibly because her Master, Corina, had arranged specialized training for her.

As Ron was pondering, the classroom door opened again, and instead of Eric, a familiar figure that put Ron on alert walked in — Soron Griffiths.

He was the stern middle-aged man who once presided over Ron’s certification as an Interdiate Apprentice and was also one of the overseers of the entire Candidate Wizard sequence.

Soron walked leisurely to the podium, surveying each student in the classroom. His gaze paused for a barely perceptible mont when it passed Ron, then quickly moved elsewhere.

"I am Soron Griffiths. From today, I will replace my students Eric and Leia, officially taking over your advanced course after the rger of the two basic courses."

Soron’s voice was gentle and calm, yet carried an unmistakable authority:

"The difficulty and depth of this course will far exceed your previous experiences. I hope every student who can enter this class fully understands this."

He slowly raised his hand, and a complex energy structure appeared in the center of the classroom, composed of countless tiny points of light, continuously changing shape and color.

"The advancent in Spiritual Control and Magic Construction starts with understanding the multi-layered construction theory."

With a gentle flick of Soron’s finger, the energy structure disintegrated into three levels, each with different energy flow patterns.

"In the basic course, you learned how to construct a single magic model. In the advanced stage, you will learn to simultaneously maintain multiple magic models and establish connections and coordination between them."

Ron focused intently on observing the demonstration model, silently marveling at Soron’s refined control over Spiritual Power.

The energy flow trajectories were precise to the milliter, with every tiny fluctuation just right.

No wonder he is an Official Wizard!

From just this demonstration model, Ron, who had been sowhat proud of his Spiritual Control due to the Additional Trait "Stable State," now felt like a schoolboy doing exercises suddenly being ntored by an international Olympiad champion.

"Today’s first exercise is to attempt to overlay two independent magic models."

With a wave of Soron’s hand, a crystal ball appeared in front of each student:

"Please attempt to simultaneously construct any two magic models you have mastered within the crystal ball."

Of course, the goal of this course is not to create Combined Magic, which is a high-tier technique only Official Wizards can master.

The purpose of simultaneously structuring two magic models now is rely for faster casting during battle.

The classroom instantly quieted down as each student began to focus intently on operating the crystal ball in front of them.

Ron took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and began building with his Spiritual Power.

He chose the Sound Wave Vibration and Sli Splash, two magic models he was quite skilled in, to attempt to overlay them.

This was his first attempt at simultaneously constructing two magic models, and it was much more challenging than he had imagined.

The energies of two different attributes attracted and repelled each other in the Spiritual Space, forming a peculiar tension.

Ron carefully guided these energies, trying to find a balance point.

An hour later, only three students in the classroom successfully completed the initial construction, with Ron being one of them.

In his crystal ball, the two magic models coexisted in a stable state. Although still sowhat crude, the basic structure had already ford.

Soron patrolled the classroom, observing each student’s progress.

When he reached Ron, a subtle expression appeared on his face.

"A comndable attempt, Apprentice Ron." Soron softly evaluated:

"The two magic models you chose have a significant attribute difference, making them harder to rge, but you found a clever balance point."

He pointed to a node in the crystal ball:

"Look here, you’ve designed the intersection of vibrational energy and water elental energy into a vortex structure, which is quite inspiring."

Ron nodded respectfully in gratitude: "Thank you for your guidance. This is just an initial attempt, and there is still much room for improvent."
