Chapter 798: Chapter 354: Sea God’s Trial_2

In the boundless darkness, those mories that once troubled him surged like a tide.

The loneliness, the guilt of being powerless when his people were hunted, the uncertainty about the future of the unknown world, and the struggle between power and responsibility.

"Can I shoulder this responsibility?" David muttered to himself in the darkness.

He tried hard to recall everything he had experienced and the hope and trust placed in him within them.

These mories carried powerful emotions, gradually freeing him from fear.

"I am not alone!" David opened his eyes.

With his shout, a dazzling and warm light flashed in the pitch-black sea, driving away the darkness and gradually brightening the surroundings.

And the negative emotions that troubled him earlier also began to transform into a resilient faith, like the roaring and relentless sea, making him more determined!

Suddenly, a new scene appeared before him.

A gigantic vortex was forming, with a blue fluorescent stele inscribed with the words of the Sea God at its center.

This was the path to the second trial!

"I must seize it!" David swam towards the vortex with all his might.

But at that mont, a strange and powerful pull ca, dragging him deeper.

Instantly, small and hostile Demons in distorted and unclear shapes leaped out from the vortex’s edge, attacking with fin blades sharp as knives.

Facing the sudden attack, David showed no fear.

He concentrated, turning all his emotions into strength, fighting against the Demons.

During the battle, he gradually grasped combat skills and rhythm, dodging and countering, driving back the Demons one by one, also using the surrounding environnt to his advantage.

After an intense confrontation, he finally reached the blue fluorescent stele and placed his palm on it.

In an instant, the stele emitted scorching Energy, enveloping him, while all enemies vanished into thin air.

At that mont, a new voice said, "You have passed the first trial."

When David opened his eyes again, he found himself in a different environnt.

On an island towering into the clouds, different colors intertwined into wondrous patterns, appearing exceptionally beautiful under the sunlight.

However, upon arriving here, a stern voice reached his ears: "This is your second trial. You need to find your true belief and prove your worth."

The island was filled with complex mazes and traps.

It exuded an atmosphere that was suffocating yet enchantingly beautiful.

Every step required caution because there were both temptations and tough challenges here.

This was not only a physical challenge but a double test of wisdom and patience!

With courage and determination, he embarked on a new journey of exploration.

Every choice was full of the unknown, but each step made his Soul more resilient.

David soon stood on the towering island, the scenery around like a dreamy illusion, colorful yet confusing.

He knew, this was the beginning of the second trial, and he must rely on wisdom and courage to find his true faith.

"Where should I start?" David looked around, pondering.

The island was covered with winding paths, each seeming to lead in different directions.

It was then that he noticed a huge stele in the distance, inscribed with ancient and complex Runes.

David took a deep breath and headed toward the stele, as it might be an important clue guiding him to his faith.

Getting closer, he read the words on the stele: "True belief originates from the depths of the heart, and the truest desires in your heart will guide you toward the light."

These words made him ponder deeply.

Indeed, what truly drove him was not just strength, but the goals and pursuits he had always held in his heart.

As he was imrsed in thought, a splendid and dazzling golden light burst from the stele, like a divine light illuminating the entire island.

And as the light emanated, the island’s environnt changed accordingly.

In an instant, the once beautiful paths began to twist and blur, revealing hidden and perilous new paths!

"I must find the path to truth." David murmured in his heart.

He closed his eyes, letting the truest, most desired information from his heart erge.

"I know what my faith is!"

David opened his eyes and resolutely walked towards a clear and broad path.

This path glowed with a faint but warm light, like sunlight filtering through the treetops.

Despite the sustained anxiety around him, his heart was already calm, and he pressed forward with increasing determination.

As he ventured deeper, the path beca narrower, flanked by darkness as black as ink, suffocating.

Yet, under his footsteps, the darkness gradually dissipated, each step making the path brighter.

Soon after, he finally arrived at a spacious platform, where a massive Crystal Tower stood towering into the clouds.

"This is... the Crystal Tower!" David said in astonishnt, "The legendary Sea God Ruins!"

It was then that a deep yet warm voice, soft as a spring breeze, emanated from the ethereal space within the Crystal Tower.

"Brave one, you are close to the truth, but to obtain the ultimate inheritance, you must face your greatest enemy, which is yourself."

As soon as the words fell, nurous phantoms gushed from inside the Crystal Tower, blurry yet exceedingly real, like all the past negative mories he had experienced.

These phantoms transford into terrifying figures disguised in various forms.

So were weak and helpless in protecting loved ones, so were fears of uncontrollable power, and so were guilt from losing important things...

"Do not evade!" the voice resounded again, "Face them, and you can surpass them."

These mories turned into dreadful shadows rushing toward David, attempting to devour him.

In that instant, he felt an intense discomfort and pressure, yet he also realized that this was his past, a part of his growth process.

He must not be overco by these shadows!

"I will not evade! These are my experiences, and I must confront them!" David gritted his teeth, fighting against the phantoms.

He wove through these negative mories, using his strength to resist, fight, and resolve them. No matter how painful, he must face the past, evading nothing!

With each collision, each struggle, the phantoms gradually faded away, bringing David new insights.

It turned out all the anxiety and fear were because he hadn’t faced himself squarely.

During this process, he learned to accept his shortcomings and turned them into motivation to move forward!

In the end, when the last shadow was vanquished, a warm and powerful Energy surged into his body, and all his mories fused into a brand new force!

At that mont, a new consciousness awoke, expanding rapidly, illuminating the entire space.

This was his true belief, and the indomitable will from the ocean’s depths!

Imdiately, the top of the Crystal Tower erupted with a dazzling blue Fla, illuminating the whole space!

That warm voice, soft as a spring breeze, sounded again: "Congratulations, you have passed the second trial! Your perseverance and courage have earned you a part of the Sea God’s inheritance!"

As the intense Energy receded, David found himself back in that vast and dark new space.

And at this mont, next to the information stele engraved with wisdom Runes, there appeared another new stele with faint blue fluorescence, where waves of powerful Energy Waves abruptly erged.
