Chapter 782: Chapter 346: Entering the Seal

The appearance of the Blood Robe Wearer was evidently not simple and could be confird as an enemy.

David looked towards a door ahead: "There! It seems to be the entrance to a deeper area!"

He hesitated no more and quickly ran towards that door.

David was at the front; he could feel the magical atmosphere continuously changing around him.

Suddenly, a rumbling sound ca from the door ahead, and a group of Blood Beasts suddenly rushed out from it.

David could sense a strong aura of the Bloodline Mage from these Blood Beasts.

Clearly, all of these were experints of the Bloodline Mages, now released to attack them.

The low sounds seed to be approaching them, each step like a contest with so unknown creature.

After passing through that door, they entered a massive circular hall.

In the center of the hall was a towering, beautifully carved large altar, covered with complex runes and patterns, seemingly the core of an ancient ritual.

The walls were filled with relics left from the Bloodline Mage’s rituals, so shimring with eerie light, while others emitted a chilling aura.

"This is their altar from back then!

Isabelle exclaid: "Legend has it that those sealed here by the Dark Power might be the Bloodline Mages!"

David’s heart trembled; this undoubtedly ant they were in a place interwoven with curses and Dark Power.

He looked up at the altar and noticed a large Crystal Ball emitting a gloomy glow floating above it, seemingly containing a powerful entity.

He could feel that the power was so imnse that it almost suffocated him.

"We must be careful," he whispered, "what’s hidden inside this Crystal Ball isn’t necessarily everything we want to find; it could also be deadly danger."

At that mont, a large number of Blood Beasts erged from around the altar.

A group of indistinct Blood Shadows, their figures smoke-like and elusive, yet their eyes full of hostility.

They were evidently a group of human souls sealed long ago, not completely faded, and felt angry and uneasy towards the intruders.

"Leave here! You should not step into this place!" one soul shouted angrily, transforming into a phantom form yet exuding a strong unsettling aura.

"We are not enemies! We just want to resolve all this."

David tried to communicate with the souls, but his voice was surrounded by anger, and no one responded to him.

He knew this conversation required a deeper thod to achieve, and ti was passing, the deeper voice getting closer.

Isabelle suddenly raised her hand, a blue light shooting from her fingertips, enveloping the ethereal souls.

"Please calm down!" she said calmly, "I co not with malice, I want to communicate with you."

All eyes turned to her; the ghosts hesitated for a mont, yet so still showed anger and defiance.

"You cannot understand our suffering; we have been imprisoned here for millennia..."

One ghost slowly replied, its voice traversing the space to everyone’s ears, like an endless sigh causing heartache.

"If you are willing, we can help you lift this curse."

Isabelle continued, her gaze firm and powerful, "I believe, you still have a chance for freedom!"

anwhile, tremors outside the hall occurred again, and that invisible force was approaching.

And the ghosts seed finally aware of the importance of the external threat, they retreated, unwilling to face potential danger again.

Yet one of the stronger ghosts stopped: "To lift our curse, you must complete the ritual, awaken our mory and return it to this place."

"Ritual?" David frowned, "How should it be perford?"

The ghost pointed to the altar with a fingertip: "You must gather all the Power of Bloodline here and release the seal on this Crystal Ball. But beware, once you start, you cannot stop... it might awaken even more evil existence."

Despite being fraught with unknown dangers, everyone deep inside understood it was the only way to reveal the truth.

David thought for a mont and nodded slightly.

He was curious to see what would happen after doing this.

"Are you ready?" David looked at his companions.

"This is our choice; we must bear the consequences together!"

Isabelle nodded heavily: "For redemption, for truth, let us go forward together!"

As David and his comrades prepared, everyone’s gaze focused on the altar.

That gloomy Crystal Ball emitted disturbing waves, seemingly waiting for their action.

The air was filled with tension and urgency, as if ti itself had frozen.

"How do we gather the power?"

David asked, feeling the oppression brought by the surrounding souls, understanding that the challenge was about to co.

"I can guide the power of the runes, but each of you needs to infuse your innermost Power of Bloodline."

The powerful ghost answered, stepping onto a stone slab in front of the altar, and began chanting an ancient spell.

Her words echoed like a spell, and the runes that glowed in the air gradually lit up.

David and his companions stood around the altar, each closing their eyes and focusing.

He could feel the innate Magic Power flowing through him, a unique existence from deep within his bloodline.

"Now, everyone should imagine gathering their powers together!"

The powerful ghost continued, "Whether it be fear, hope, anger, or love, these emotions will beco part of our strength!"

The entire hall was instantly enveloped by a myriad of colorful lights, and the ghosts emitted mysterious and bizarre low chants, resonating with them.

A dazzling pillar of light erupted from the Crystal Ball, firmly locking everyone within, that powerful energy seed to tear the space apart, enveloping them all.

"Stay focused! Don’t give up!"

The powerful ghost continually encouraged her team, feeling the seal within the Crystal Ball gradually loosening.

And the low sound from outside beca more evident, and the invisible pressure closed in even more.

At this mont, a giant shadow erged from the depths of the hall, like a monster stepping out from endless darkness, with eyes fierce as flas.

"You foolish humans should not have disturbed our peace!" It roared, like thunder shaking the entire space. "I will make you pay for this!"

"This being... is indeed part of what’s cursed and sealed here!"

David instantly realized the threat, knowing he must quickly complete the ritual, or this dark entity would fully awaken and unleash an uncontrollable force!

"Quick! Stay focused on our thoughts! Don’t let it interfere with us!" he shouted loudly.

The intense and surging magical aura rged in the air, hotter yet without losing rationality.

Amid the drastic tremors, the Crystal Ball was finally unsealed, emitting a dazzling and radiant light, making the entire hall as bright as day.

Simultaneously transforming into a massive vortex, drawing everything around into it.

And hidden at the center of the vortex were the mories revealed by the souls — laughter, sorrow, despair, and hope woven into tapestries, inducing intoxication.

Just as this powerful force was about to fully awaken, a loud yet painfully sharp roar echoed throughout.

"I will make you regret all this! Whatever you do, I will take your life!"

The dark entity howled madly upwards, its form growing gigantic, like a towering mountain, with a path leading to everyone’s chest spewing flas ahead of it.

Instinctively, they all retreated, but it was already too late!
