Chapter 696: Chapter 303: The World of the Fur Race (Part 2)

Just then, a clear and lodious child’s voice called out, "Who are you?"

David’s expression was calm as he had already sensed sothing approaching, but it was very weak, not even at the Tier One Wizard Level.

He turned his head to see a little girl wearing fur clothes walking over.

She had curly black hair and bright eyes, but most striking were the pair of fox ears on her head.

"This is the Fur Race?" David squinted his eyes and replied, "I am a traveler from outside."

"Traveler from outside?"

"What race are you from? Why don’t you have any features of the Fur Race?"

The little girl was filled with curiosity.

David did not answer. Instead, his eyes flashed with silver light as he began to extract the mories of the Fox Race girl.

David’s consciousness gradually imrsed in the girl’s mories; scenes surged forth like a tide.

He felt her life, her holand, and the rich and unique culture of the Fur Race.

In her mories, the Fur Race lived in a vast and mysterious forest filled with towering trees and clear streams.

The villages were dispersed among the woods, built with ingenuity, with each house blending seamlessly with its environnt.

The tribesn lived in harmony with nature, relying on hunting, gathering, and simple farming for sustenance.

They respected nature and believed in a special connection with animals and plants.

The little girl’s na was Linlin, and she was a mber of the Fur Race.

From her mories, David saw she always liked to follow her parents into the depths of the forest, exploring paths filled with magical aura.

There, she would encounter many magical creatures, including talking animals and strange plants.

Additionally, she had participated in traditional ceremonies that unified the entire village, together feeling the power from nature.

As the mories beca clearer, he gradually understood all the emotions that the little girl carried.

In her heart, there was a curiosity about the outside world, but also a touch of fear, as the outside world was unknown and dangerous to them.

Linlin yearned for adventure yet also feared unexpected encounters.

"I don’t want to hurt you."

David erged from the depths of recollection and gently said to Linlin, "I am just a passing traveler."

Upon hearing his words, the little girl shook her head strongly, "That’s good. I’ve never seen travelers from outside, I thought outside people were fierce and powerful."

"I am not what you imagine."

David smiled slightly and approached with a friendly posture, using his Charm Talent to instantly win the girl’s favor.

The worry in Linlin’s eyes seed to lessen a bit as she scratched her fox ears, seemingly pondering sothing.

"Alright, you can co to my ho. I can introduce you to my parents, but they’ll ask a lot of questions." She spoke cautiously but her eyes sparkled with excitent.

"Of course," David responded without hesitation.

So, they walked toward the village.

Along the way, shaded under trees with magical aura, there were many other mbers of the Fur Race moving about.

They regarded the newcor with curious and friendly eyes, so even whispering about him, still uncertain of his identity.

But as David used his Charm Talent, their perceptions of him changed dramatically.

Eventually, they arrived at a simple yet cozy little house.

The walls were woven from branches and plants, adorned with various handicrafts and hunting trophies.

"Wait here, I’ll go inside and call my parents." The little girl said and dashed into the house.

David stood at the door, shortly after he heard low voices coming from inside.

About a minute later, the little girl escorted two adults out, an elder and another who appeared to be her mother.

"We welco friends from afar!"

The elder spoke first, his voice deep but powerful, "I am Calder, the tribe leader, and this is my wife Kara. What is your background?"

"I am David, an adventurer," he answered with a calm and confident tone.

"What race are you?" Kara examined him carefully.

David thought for a mont and suddenly activated the Nine-tailed Fox Bloodline within him.

Just to earn the corresponding status, he chose to reveal the sa strength as Calder, also at the Peak of Three Rings.

Then, he lifted his hair, revealing the fox ears hidden atop his head.

When David lifted his hair, exposing the concealed fox ears, a hint of shock and awe flashed in Calder’s eyes.

His body trembled slightly, realizing that the traveler before him possessed a far stronger Fox Race bloodline than his own.

This powerful suppression from the bloodline confird his guess that this must be a high-ranking mber of the Fur Fox Race.

"Such a strong bloodline!"

Calder murmured, not daring to look directly at David, instead lowering his head as a sign of respect.

"I wish to understand this world and share so of the things I know with you."

David smiled and raised his hand to gesture for Calder and Kara to relax, "I an no offense, just want to make friends."

Upon hearing this, they appeared to breathe a sigh of relief.

Kara gathered the courage to ask, "Then, sir, what is your purpose in coming to us?"

"Just browsing, seeking opportunities for breakthrough," David replied.

This was indeed his main purpose for coming to this world, to help himself and the witches achieve breakthroughs.

Now knowing this is the Fur Race’s world, he was eager to explore more, such as the connection between the Bloodline Knights and this world.

Since the two worlds had connections, the Bloodline Knights likely originated from here.

"Our tribe has always pursued harmonious coexistence with nature, hoping to bring you benefits,"

Calder said, "If you wish, we can prepare a sumptuous feast for you."

"That would be wonderful, I look forward to it!" David said with a smile.

As ti passed, a lively and warm gathering took place in the center of the village.

The villagers gathered around, curiously observing the new outsider.

So engaged in quiet conversations while others watched him with admiration, as if they had seen a legendary Guardian God.

At the party, Linlin excitedly introduced David to her friends, occasionally chiming in on discussions.

In her eyes, this outsider traveler seed to bring endless freshness and made her realize her little village was not the entirety of the world.

As the feast progressed, a variety of delicious dishes were served.

Including fresh salad made from unique forest plants, stew cooked with ga, and sweet beverages brewed from fruits.

These foods were not only delectable but also emitted a unique and tempting fragrance, allowing David to feel a long-lost warmth.

Just as everyone started enjoying a sumptuous dinner, a burly man covered in beast skin and full of facial hair approached.

He appeared strong yet exuded friendliness, "Are you the traveler from outside? I am Lank, the Hunter in the tribe."

"That’s , nice to et you!" David replied, "Hearing your na, I knew you must be very skilled."

Lank laughed heartily, "No way, just doing so common tasks. But if you’d like to hunt with , I’d be happy to take you along!"

"It would be an honor." David nodded without hesitation, "But let’s wait till tomorrow; I need ti to adapt to everything here."

The Hunter before him was also a presence at the Third Ring.

He was very interested in this world’s Fur Race cultivation thods, which might help his Bloodline Mage cultivation.
