Chapter 574: Chapter 242: Journey to the Great Vortex
Accompanied by a dull thud, the burly Large rfolk and several of his companions were knocked back, utterly unable to resist!
Witnessing this scene, the remaining small rfolk were aghast.
In the chaos, so brave small Sea Race mbers decided to rise up against.
"Pointless struggle!" David shouted fiercely.
Mobilizing his inner strength once again, he released an amount of Absolute Energy from the center of his body.
This energy turned into a massive wave, crashing rapidly toward those small Sea Race mbers, pulling them into the vortex one after another and forcing them out of battle!
Observing the imminent threat approaching, a determined flash appeared in the Large rfolk’s eyes.
He roared furiously, charging at David with all his might, accompanied by a small wave intent on swallowing the Sea Dragon ahead!
"Water Elental Spirit."
"Sea God Bloodline, Sea God Domain."
David directly triggered the power of the Water Elent Mark.
This granted him imnse fighting strength within the sea and absolute control over Water Elental Power.
At that mont, his entire body radiated dazzling blue light, and a powerful water flow aura instantly ford around him.
As the energy surged, it spread outward like ripples, enveloping everything nearby under its control.
The Large rfolk’s attack was imdiately blocked by this energy.
Though his punch was fierce, it seed utterly pale beneath the Sea God Domain.
He felt an increasing intangible pressure, as if in the Abyss, with each attack attempt being countered by that strong water flow.
Moreover, they were horrified to find that they, as the Sea Race, had lost control over the Water Elental Power!
"Keep attacking! We can’t let him succeed!" the leading Large rfolk struggled to launch another assault.
The small rfolk around him also joined in the offensive, weaving various magic spells and water flows into a violent blue tide.
Yet everything they unleashed seed incapable of shaking the defenses created by David.
"Want to keep resisting?" David said coldly.
Then he mobilized long-dormant power within him, transforming it into a strong vortex and throwing it at those small rfolk.
The vortex, like a predator, engulfed all the small rfolk encountered along its path.
They struggled desperately, but couldn’t escape the absolute binding of the violent wave, only watching helplessly as they were gradually consud.
Seeing his companions fall into despair one by one, the Large rfolk felt a mix of anger and hopelessness, yet remained helpless.
The opponent’s power was overwhelming; even when all of them joined forces, they were not a match.
"Surrender, or die!" David said in a deep voice.
His figure flickered in the water with dazzling blue light, as if he had beco the embodint of the Sea God.
The Large rfolk felt an intangible pressure at that mont, as if being in the Abyss.
They were filled with fear and despair against such a powerful opponent.
The courage and determination in the fight dwindled before the power David displayed.
Watching those companions being swept into the vortex, they knew they would face annihilation if they didn’t surrender soon.
The leading Large rfolk raised his head with difficulty, his expression complex.
His body still felt the powerful aura from David, "We... we are willing to surrender."
His voice was deep and choked; after experiencing absolute suppression, this once proud warrior finally chose to compromise.
David nodded satisfied, reclaiming the water vortex around them, allowing those small rfolk engulfed to slowly erge to the surface.
Then, he directly mobilized Spiritual Power to transform into a Spirit Contract, forcibly signing a Spirit Contract with the rfolk Race, making them his slaves.
Witnessing this, the Large rfolk felt unwilling yet understood this was a necessary choice for the survival of their race.
"Very well," David said, expressing satisfaction.
"From now on, you must tell
all the secrets of this marine area."
"I need information about the Great Vortex, and everything your race knows about the past and legends."
The leading Large rfolk knew there was no longer room to resist and could only accept this order, "Understood, we will do our best to assist you."
Not long after, David learned everything he wanted to know.
Unfortunately, he didn’t gain much about the Sea God’s inheritance, though he acquired plenty of information regarding the Great Vortex.
David still needed to continue to the Great Vortex next.
He commanded the rfolk Race to keep collecting resources underwater and gather information within the Sea Race, while he continued advancing toward the Great Vortex.
Whenever he closed his eyes, the sea chart of the Endless Sea would appear in his mind, allowing him to accurately identify his location.
This made his actions easier, heading toward the Great Vortex.
As David focused entirely on moving forward, his keen senses suddenly detected so unusual disturbances.
The flow of seawater seed to carry a peculiar rhythm, a pattern different from natural waves, which David imdiately realized was the Sea Race.
However, he was puzzled that two Sea Race factions were actually in battle, one being the Whale Race, the other the Shark Race.
And it appeared the Whale Race was escorting sothing, being robbed by the Shark Race, initiating the battle between them.
This made David think of Sea Race pirates, a group of marauders roaming the Endless Sea, living off the sea, thriving on plunder.
David hid within the dark currents, observing the sudden Sea Race battle.
The Whale Race was known for their massive bodies and gentle deanor, while the Shark Race was notorious for their ferocity and predatory nature.
Now, these two forces clashed in the deep sea, igniting an intense battle.
The Whale Race was clearly escorting so important items or individuals, their formation tight, movents coordinated, attempting to pass through this dangerous water area with minimal losses.
anwhile, the Shark Race resembled a pack of hungry hunters, swiftly swimming, seeking weaknesses in the Whale Race, trying to breach their defenses.
David saw so Whale Race mbers beginning to use their unique sonic attacks, a powerful shock wave disseminating through water, able to harm the Shark Race.
Yet the Shark Race wasn’t to be outdone; using their sharp teeth and agile posture, they tried to engage the Whale Race in close combat.
The battle escalated, the water perated with the scent of blood, both sides had injured mbers, yet none showed signs of backing down.
"The Whale Race should belong to the gentle Sea Race."
"In this Sea Race and Wizard war, the Whale Race didn’t participate either."
David pondered silently.
The ocean was divided into nurous powers and factions.
Even the Royal Family was divided into several, with complex and intertwined powers.
Thinking it through, David decided to help the Whale Race, pirates whether Wizards or Sea Race, surely represented the evil side, and eliminating them shouldn’t be wrong.
Besides, as he planned to proceed past the Great Vortex, he might learn so information about it from the Whale Race; these big fellows might be helpful.
David stealthily approached the battlefield, his silhouette nearly invisible in the water, only those with acute vision could catch the trajectory of his swift movents.
Subsequently, he conjured the Bloodline Power of the Sea Dragon Race, summoning a strong waterflow, which surged toward the Shark Race like a massive wave.
The sharks were thrown in disarray by the sudden water flow, their formation chaotic.
The Whale Race seized the opportunity to adjust their formation, their massive bodies began rhythmically swaying, emitting deep sound waves, calling for their companions.
Though the Shark Race was sowhat disorganized by the water flow, they quickly regained fighting status.
Several leading sharks began organizing a counterattack, using their speed and sharp teeth, trying to breach the Whale Race’s defense again.
