Chapter 520: Chapter 215: The Witch’s Devotion
El said firmly, "That’s right! Without David, we might have already been desperate, unable to stand here and enjoy these achievents. Giving him half is only right!"
Initially, the suggestion caused a subtle tension among everyone.
Although they all agreed inwardly, when they thought about giving David half of the resources, they unconsciously began to calculate:
If they really did so, how much would they get?
Would this affect their own power growth?
Besides, David joined halfway and wasn’t entirely considered a team mber.
However, considering David’s strength, they exchanged glances, realizing that his power to kill that creature was unrivaled by any of them.
David watched everything with a calm expression, knowing he had already gained the greatest reward from this relic exploration.
Yet, the resources in the relic were indeed abundant, many of which were useful to him, and he felt there wasn’t much issue in taking half.
In the end, David took half of the resources.
Despite this, the remaining resources were enough for everyone else to gain plentifully.
Compared to almost losing their lives, they indeed should be satisfied.
When the team returned to the town, everyone breathed a sigh of relief, and the excitent imdiately filled each of their hearts.
They gathered together, with a sumptuous feast on the table, each person brimming with anticipation, ready to celebrate the successful exploration.
"Everyone, raise your glasses!"
El lifted his glass excitedly, a radiant smile on his face, "To our victory, and to David! Without him, we couldn’t have completed this mission."
"Yes! David is our hero!" soone raised their glass in agreent, "Not only did he save all of us, but he also helped us secure these precious resources!"
As everyone’s enthusiasm surged, the entire party beca increasingly joyful.
The team mbers shared their experiences in the relic, with laughter and toasts intertwining.
They felt extrely fortunate to have completed such a challenging task and returned safely to the base.
"Although we allocated quite a bit of resources, everyone should receive their due rewards."
Jack said, sampling the food while slightly furrowing his brows, "I think the team mbers dedicated a lot of effort to gain so much this ti."
"But without David, we might have been desperate." Another team mber remarked, inadvertently glancing at David, "So, we should be even more grateful to him!"
Faced with everyone’s praise and gratitude, David remained calm.
Just now, he had completed the exchange of his double with his main body; the present being was his true self.
Currently, he was contemplating how to fully obtain all the mories and legacies of the sealed Bloodline Mage.
After the celebration ended, David returned to his room.
Just as he considered attempting to extract the Bloodline Mage’s mories, there was a knock on the door.
Upon opening the door, he found out it was Nicole.
Nicole ca over to express her gratitude and wanted to talk to David.
"I want to formally invite him to join our exploration team! That way, we can face more challenges together in the future!" Nicole expressed hopefully.
Upon hearing Nicole’s words, David shook his head with a smile and said, "Sorry, my primary objective in exploring the relics this ti was for the Bloodline Mage."
"Compared to relic exploration, I prefer quietly cultivating, improving my strength."
Upon hearing David’s response, Nicole’s smile vanished, with a hint of awkwardness and disappointnt filling the air.
Nicole realized, forcing a smile, she said, "David, we understand you have your own goals."
"In this dangerous Wizard World, each of us wants to enhance our strength, but to do so, sufficient resources are required."
For relic explorers like them, exploring relics is the fastest way to acquire resources.
However, they also knew if David had other ans to obtain resources, there was no need for him to take risks with them.
Although Nicole understood, she couldn’t hide her disappointnt.
"If you are willing, you can co with ."
"The resources I have at hand are enough for your cultivation."
David said.
He had already stated that he had a Potion Shop on Wizard Alliance Island.
If these adventurers wanted his help, they could leave a ssage at the Potion Shop on the Wizard Alliance Island.
The Potion Shop’s earning capability could indeed support several First-Ring Mages, or even Second-Ring Mages.
Nicole was taken aback, falling into contemplation.
She rembered that David had said he would protect her.
"No matter what, I still have to thank you for saving my life."
Nicole looked at David, blushing, with a serious expression on her face.
At this mont, because of the wine she had drunk earlier, a blush spread across her cheeks, seemingly accelerating her heartbeat.
Even though she knew this might be an impulsive decision, right now, she just wanted to express her gratitude to David.
"David, I... like you." Nicole spoke, sowhat nervously, her voice trembling, "In the relic, not only did you save , but you also moved my heart."
After saying this, she felt the temperature on her face rise even more.
Although influenced by alcohol, many impulsive and romantic thoughts flashed through her mind, deep down she knew this wasn’t a simple subject.
Facing Nicole’s earnest gaze, David could feel the sincerity and emotion in her words, but her sudden confession brought a gentle smile to his face.
He directly leaned down and kissed her.
Nicole’s heart raced instantly, as if ti stood still at that mont.
The sudden and tender kiss from David was hardly believable to her.
That warm feeling spread through her heart, causing her entire body to tremble slightly.
After parting, David gently supported Nicole’s shoulder, his gaze both tender and firm: "Now I think we can let go of those worries and enjoy this mont."
After saying this, he picked up a bottle of wine from the table and poured so for Nicole with a smile.
The wine rippled in the glass, shining with an enchanting luster under the light as they raised their glasses.
Nicole’s eyes sparkled with excitent and anticipation as she clinked her glass against David’s, "Enjoy this mont."
"Enjoy this mont."
David replied, lightly clinking his glass with hers.
Then David imdiately lifted Nicole.
They drank the wine together, and the rich flavor brought a sense of joy flowing deep into their hearts.
At this mont, everything else seed insignificant, leaving only the freshness and sweetness flowing between each other.
As ti passed, they gradually forgot everything around them, simply enjoying the warmth and joy in this small corner.
The night grew deeper, but they were imrsed in this intimate and hopeful new relationship.
In this quiet and sweet little night, their bodies and minds beca one.

As a First-Ring Mage, and an adventurer who had reached the First-Ring Mage level for so ti, Nicole indeed provided a lot of cultivation experience.
Moreover, as an adventurer, Nicole’s courageous attitude of constantly challenging herself fascinated David.
Nicole seed particularly proactive, out of gratitude and in pursuit of inner happiness, they continued their cultivation together.
During the process, Nicole suddenly sensed magic power flowing from David into her body, continuously boosting her own Magic Power.
Suddenly, she felt as if a lock within her was released, allowing her previously unattainable Spiritual Power to transform, reaching the Tier Two Wizard Level.

David imdiately noticed the anomaly, surprised by what he saw.
The cultivation efficiency of a Second-Ring Mage had tripled compared to its original level, yet it was certainly not the limit of the cultivation effect.
