Chapter 516: Chapter 213: Adventuring with the Witch

With each loss of blood, the unrest and anger hidden inside it grew more intense.

After a bout of distortion and convulsion, it suddenly abandoned defense and lunged at David and the witch, its incredibly thick legs resembling two sky-shaking pillars.

In this critical mont, David protected the lovely witch in his embrace and suddenly activated the Beastification Mark along with the Chaos Dragon Wolf Bloodline contained within.

In that instant, a powerful surge of strength welled up in David, and he felt the vast energy from the Chaos Dragon Wolf Bloodline coursing through him.

His body began to undergo drastic changes; muscles bulged, sharp claws erged from his fingertips, and gleaming scales covered him entirely.

"David!"

The witch exclaid in surprise, deeply attracted to this power but also feeling a bit worried.

"Don’t be afraid! I’ll protect you!"

David smiled, but his eyes were filled with determination for battle.

With his largest Source of Tier Two Magic Power, the strong aura instantly spread throughout the hall, making the air increasingly heavy.

David stood beside the witch, his whole body glowing with the Power of Elents.

Flas surrounded him like angry fire, water waves surged around him like a tide, the Power of Earth supported him like solid rock, while the gale violently spun around him like a raging storm.

"Power of Elents—gather!"

David growled, focusing his consciousness on the four elents, each power interwoven with his soul.

At this mont, the earth beneath him suddenly shook, and a vortex of fla and water flow continuously rose, shooting straight from the sky towards the monster.

The monster sensed the threat and roared furiously, its gigantic body lunging forward, but it was already too late.

The four types of elental powers converged into a brilliant beam, like a teor streaking across the night sky, striking towards the deford creature with unimaginable speed.

Scorching flas burned the air, while water flow transford into an invisible shield, enveloping it, the Power of Earth made the attack more threatening, and the gale propelled the assault to its peak, doubling its speed and power.

With the roar echoing, at the mont the creature was hit, it let out a heart-wrenching scream.

This howl mixed with despair and anger echoed throughout the hall.

The flickering gem was directly hit by the beam, and at the sa ti, the unrest and anger hidden inside it reached its peak due to this assault; for a mont, the entire space seed to be vibrating!

With a resounding bang, the deford creature finally couldn’t withstand such a powerful attack; its bulky and twisted body consud by flas, while the cold water flow tightly locked it, and the Power of Earth continued to erode, leaving it utterly unable to escape.

In the final mont, it struggled to flee, but there was no route left, forcing it to accept the fate of destruction that ca along!

"Go! End this!"

David erupted with dazzling light, and at this mont, he seed to beco a part of the Four Elents, pouring endless power into control.

With the last bit of strength, he gathered all energy into a single point, exploding before the dark and terrifying creature with world-ending brilliance.

Boom—

Accompanied by lightning tearing across the sky, thunder intimidated the land.

This force finally erupted, rcilessly consuming everything around like a falling star!

The terrifying monster ultimately disintegrated into dust.

As the dust gradually settled, the hall returned to calm, leaving behind people who were wounded but still firm and admirable, and the newly transford David standing with increased steadiness despite minor trembles.

He turned around, seeing the witch looking at him with shock and joy, which made him smile lightly: "Are you alright?"

"I’m fine... you’re amazing!"

She responded, her voice carrying a tone of admiration and reverence.

The aftermath of the battle gradually subsided, and for a mont, the team watched David with astonishnt in their eyes.

"That move just now... how did you do it?"

The swordsman approached David while gasping and looking at him with amazent and doubt.

He had always thought himself the strongest in the team, but the scene before him made him realize that this wizard who joined halfway was actually the strongest.

The witch couldn’t help but applaud for him: "Amazing, David!"

"You’ve attained the power of a Tier Two Wizard Level, I never thought you could defeat that creature so effortlessly!"

Beside her, El patted his weapon, sighed in relief: "Indeed! Even a Tier Two Mage may not be able to unleash such mighty elental power."

"Don’t praise

like that, I was just lucky." David smiled lightly.

"No, you’re definitely not just lucky! Your potential surpasses us all!" El tried to calm his excitent, clenched his fist, and said seriously, "I believe that if we continue to fight side by side, you’ll definitely beco the core of our team!"

The swordsman nodded in agreent: "Absolutely! With your power, we can defeat any enemy, I hope that in the forthcoming journey, we can fight together, because with you by our side, we’ll beco unparalleled in strength."

Other team mbers also expressed their thoughts, unable to hide the respect and joy surging from within.

And at this mont, the ancient platform’s device seed to start flashing mysterious light, as if responding to the battle.

anwhile, the grand stone pillar and the old platform seed to beco more radiant within the light.

"Did we win?"

The witch murmured, a trace of fatigue in her eyes.

"Don’t let down your guard," El reminded, carefully observing the platform.

Just then, a hidden chanism at the top of the pillar slightly moved, a crack appeared in the center of the pillar, and a gentle yet mysterious light fell down.

"What is this?"

David curiously stepped forward, feeling the energy emanating from the light associated with the bloodline mages he had been seeking.

He reached out to touch the runes, and they seed to respond, emitting a faint, warm glow.

With a slight tremor, a hidden door at the back of the hall slowly opened, revealing a small staircase leading deeper.

The staircase extended downward, as if leading to an unknown and mysterious abyss.

"Let’s go down and see."

El said, taking the first step down the stairs, the others following closely.

In the dim and murky passage, they felt the air growing colder, yet faintly slled a blend of potion and ancient scroll aroma.

When they reached the bottom of the stairs, a thick door appeared before them, adorned with intricate and elaborate designs.

The door was engraved with runes commonly used by bloodline mages, consistent with what they had seen before, which made David more certain this was the place they were looking for—the bloodline mages’ laboratory!

"Are you ready?" El turned back to ask, and everyone nodded nervously. "Whatever’s inside, we must give it our all."

He forcefully pushed open the door; inside was a wide and dark room, filled with various strange equipnt, books, and bottles containing potions of different colors.

The walls were covered with records of past experinters conducting experints; so looked pale, so appeared feverishly enthusiastic.

These records conveyed a strong sense of unease; this wasn’t rely scientific research but an unyielding pursuit of the essence of life!

"Quick, look at that!" The witch pointed to the end of the room, where a large crystal container held so unclear humanoid outlines.

David’s heart trembled, "These are... experintal subjects?"

They cautiously approached the container, clearly seeing the figures inside; they looked like human forms bound by so force, not entirely devoid of life, but rather in a semi-conscious state.

It made him feel uneasy; the bloodline mages’ experints were indeed brutal and inhumane.

At this mont, a deep, raspy yet magnetic voice echoed from the other side of the room: "You’ve finally arrived..."
