Chapter 466: Chapter 188: Secret Realm Exploration (Part 2)
David at this mont slowly raised both hands, and the cold air perating the atmosphere grew even denser, causing the surrounding temperature to plunge sharply. Even the moisture in the air began to condense into ice crystals.
"Ice Seal!"
As his words fell, a powerful surge of cold swept out from him as the center, rapidly coating the ground with frost. Even beneath Edmund’s feet, ice began to form.
Edmund dared not be careless; he swiftly mobilized the Water Elental Power within himself, trying to fend off this raid of cold air.
His magic staff swung once more, and under his control, the water elent ford walls of water, attempting to halt the expanding cold.
However, David’s Ice Power was overwhelmingly strong. As soon as the water walls ca into contact with the cold, they swiftly froze, becoming fragile and directly shattering into countless ice crystals.
"How is this possible?!"
"The aura of Tier One Innate Witchcraft, are you a First-Ring Mage?!"
Edmund felt the aura emanating from the Ice Mage opposite him, an expression of shock displayed on his face.
He never expected that the soul avatar of a First-Ring Mage would infiltrate this Secret Realm!
"Tier One Innate Witchcraft?"
David slightly narrowed his eyes, realizing the other was referring to his Talent Mark.
To so extent, the Talent Mark and Tier One Innate Witchcraft are indeed very similar.
David did not respond to Edmund’s surprise; he rely watched him coldly, a hint of contempt flashing in his eyes.
He knew that although Edmund’s strength was not weak, it paled in comparison to his Talent Mark.
David continued to keep his hands raised, his Ice Power surging toward Edmund like a tide.
Edmund attempted to resist with more water elents, but he found his power was like an ant trying to stop a chariot against David’s Ice Power, utterly ineffective.
The frost continued to spread, starting to freeze beneath Edmund’s feet, causing his movents to beco increasingly sluggish.
David’s lips turned upward slightly, channeling more Ice Power to completely nullify Edmund’s ability to resist.
Edmund felt unprecedented pressure, his Water Elental Power appearing pale and weak against David’s Ice Power.
He began to regret underestimating his opponent, but it was already too late for regret.
He attempted to retreat, but the frost had already spread to his legs, making movent difficult.
David’s gaze turned icy, his hands suddenly coming together, then pushing toward Edmund’s direction.
A massive cold wave swept toward Edmund like a gale.
Edmund tried to resist with his last bit of strength, but all efforts were in vain.
The cold wave struck him, encasing him entirely in ice.
Frozen within the ice block, Edmund’s expression was locked in terror and despair.
The power of the Ice Elental Spirit could freeze not only the body but even the soul.
David slowly lowered his hands as the surrounding chill began to dissipate, looking at the ice-enclosed Edmund with not a hint of pity in his eyes.
Afterward, his Space Spirit swept in, enveloping the ice sculpture and storing it within his Space Ring, intending to take it back to the Bright Continent later.
"Master, this Edmund should belong to the slave organization," Sten stepped forward to say.
Their target was too clear, and recently the only enemies they had were mbers of the slave organization—an unrelenting group.
David nodded, agreeing with Sten’s judgnt.
Indeed, the slave organization was relentless, employing ruthless asures without leaving room for rcy.
This action by Edmund undoubtedly demonstrated the slave organization’s hostility toward him and their determination to eliminate him at all costs.
David was well aware that this encounter was rely a beginning, and he might face more challenges from the slave organization in the future.
He must remain vigilant at all tis and continually enhance his own strength to survive in this perilous world.
David took a deep breath, temporarily putting aside the thoughts whirling in his mind.
He knew the most important thing now was to continue exploring this Secret Realm, searching for possible treasures and secrets.
He said to Sten, "Let’s move forward, but more cautiously. The slave organization’s people might have other ambushes."
Sten nodded, and the two continued to venture deeper into the Secret Realm.
Collecting the precious resources around them, the pair proceeded deeper into the realm.
Soon, they arrived at a forest, which was precisely the Black Mist Forest recorded on the stone tablet.
This forest, nad for its perennial black mist, concealed countless secrets and dangers.
Both David and Sten knew that the Black Mist Forest was a place full of the unknown, but it was this mystery that fueled their desire to explore.
They prepared so essential equipnt and supplies, then stepped into this mysterious forest.
Upon entering the Black Mist Forest, David and Sten were enveloped by the dense black mist, drastically reducing visibility.
The sounds within the forest also beca eerie, occasionally punctuated by cries from unknown creatures, chilling to the bone.
David’s Ice Power felt even colder in this forest; he could sense the surrounding moisture turning into a thin layer of frost because of his power.
Sten closely followed behind David, his eyes scanning their surroundings warily, ready to respond to any potential threats.
After traversing through the forest for a long ti, they suddenly discovered a clearing shrouded in black mist.
In the center of the clearing stood an ancient stone tablet inscribed with strange symbols.
David approached the stone tablet, attempting to decipher these symbols, and found that they seed to belong to an ancient language, recording the secrets of the Black Mist Forest.
After so effort, David finally deciphered the information on the stone tablet.
It turned out that this forest was once the site of a powerful Wizard Civilization, and the black mist was produced after a powerful array was destroyed.
This witchcraft array was designed to protect a secret treasure within the forest.
Following the clues from the stone tablet, David and Sten began searching for the treasure’s entrance within the forest.
"Is this a Concealnt Array?"
David stood before the seemingly ordinary clearing, his gaze piercing through the black mist, focusing on the barely visible energy waves.
His Extraordinary Perception Ability allowed him to detect the flow of magical energy in the air, indicating that this clearing was far from as mundane as it appeared.
David closed his eyes, concentrated, and his perception ability, like invisible tendrils, gently probed into the space protected by the Concealnt Array.
He could feel the array’s energy structure, intricate and exquisite, not only concealing the treasure’s entrance but also setting multiple traps and protective asures.
David knew that cracking such an array required great patience and precise operation; any slight error could trigger traps or even lead to the array’s complete collapse.
He took a deep breath and began ticulously analyzing every detail of the array.
The array’s complete structure erged in his mind, each line, each node, clearly appearing before him.
David comnced attempting to unravel the first node of the array, his fingers dancing in the air as if weaving an invisible web.
His movents were both swift and steady, each gesture precise as though he fully comprehended every part of the array.
As ti ticked by, fine beads of sweat appeared on David’s forehead.
Finally, through David’s relentless efforts, the first node of the array was successfully unlocked.
Following that, the second, the third... As each node was deciphered, the energy waves of the array began to disorder, altering the scene of the clearing.
In the center of the previously ordinary clearing, a faint glow gradually appeared, growing brighter until it ford an illuminated outline.
This outline was an ancient stone door, engraved with mysterious runes and patterns, evidently the entrance to the treasure.
David opened his eyes, exhibiting a trace of exhaustion, yet his face bore a smile.
He extended his hand and gently pushed open that stone door, revealing a hidden path behind it.
