Chapter 441: Chapter 178: Snow Demon Breakthrough, Ice Hell!

At the center of the altar, a gigantic ice pillar slowly rose.

At the top of the pillar, a deep vortex slowly rotated, as if it were a gateway to the Ice Hell.

Within the vortex, a world frozen in ice was faintly visible.

There lay twisted glaciers and shattered ice mountains, the sky shrouded by dim ice clouds, the earth blanketed in endless ice and snow.

In this world, even sound was frozen, leaving only cold silence and despairing stillness.

"Is this the Ice Hell?"

David and Reina watched the scene before them, shock written in their eyes.

But David knew he must never allow the possibility of Ice Hell descending, or else the entire world would be devoured by it.

Boom!

In the next instant, he activated the Four Elents Spirit.

The Power of Ether condensed and transford into the Four Elents Array.

Once David’s Four Elents Array unfolded, it emitted a dazzling light, enveloping the entire altar in a massive energy field.

The four corners of the array represented the elents of fire, water, wind, and earth, which began rotating under David’s control, forming a powerful protective barrier.

The vortex atop the ice pillar seed to sense this power’s threat, its rotation speed increasing, attempting to break through the array’s bounds.

However, the stability and strength of the Four Elents Array far exceeded expectations. It not only blocked the vortex’s expansion but also began slowly pushing the ice pillar back to its original position.

Cracks began to appear on the ice coating the pillar, and faint light erged from those cracks.

David continued to exert his power, the array’s brilliance growing ever brighter, and the ice pillar’s descent speeding up.

Finally, after a violent tremor, the ice pillar fully returned to the altar’s center, and the vortex vanished with it.

And just as the ritual connecting to the Ice Hell was interrupted, David suddenly conjured the Sacrificial Spirit.

The Sacrificial Spirit rged into the altar’s ancient runes.

He used his own Sacrificial Spirit as a dium to absorb the leftover sacrificial energy from the grand ritual.

As the Sacrificial Spirit continued to be driven, the runes on the altar began to emit dazzling light, and a powerful energy wave burst from the altar’s center.

This force collided with the Ice Hell’s power, producing a deafening roar.

David closed his eyes, focusing his mind, beginning to absorb the sacrificial energy through the Snow Demon Spirit.

The compatibility between the Snow Demon Spirit and the Ice Hell was incredibly high.

Through the Snow Demon Spirit, he managed to receive the remaining sacrificial energy.

At that mont, the Snow Demon Spirit received a trendous boost, and his consciousness began to resonate with the Ice Hell’s power.

Ti seed to stand still, with only the Snow Demon Spirit and the imminent power engaging in a silent battle.

Finally, through David’s relentless efforts, the ritual was successfully interrupted, and the Ice Hell’s power was forcibly suppressed back.

And in the final mont, David faintly heard a roar.

It was clear a terrifying presence from Ice Hell had attempted to descend, fortunately thwarted.

David slowly opened his eyes, cold light flickering in them.

Once everything had ended.

On the altar, the crystal imbued with the Ice Hell’s aura lay quietly, emitting a faint blue light.

David stepped forward, reaching out to touch the crystal.

At the mont his finger made contact with the crystal, an icy chill spread up his arm, and a series of visions appeared before his eyes.

He saw deep within the Ice Hell, where endless glaciers and frozen souls lay.

The visions quickly vanished, and David’s arm returned to normal, but he knew the scenes he saw were real.

And in the next instant, the crystal suddenly embedded itself within his Snow Demon Spirit.

Imdiately afterward, he discovered.

David felt an unprecedented power surging inside him.

The fusion of the crystal with the Snow Demon Spirit established a wondrous connection between him and the Ice Hell.

His consciousness could clearly sense the Ice Hell, even feel the wails and struggles of the frozen souls within.

David took a deep breath, calming the turmoil in his heart.

He began exploring his newfound abilities, trying to understand how to communicate with the Ice Hell and how to control this power.

He discovered that by concentrating his mind, he could summon traces of the Ice Hell’s aura, forming realms of frost and undead, even influencing the surrounding environnt’s temperature to a certain extent.

This ability was sowhat akin to what only a Divine Envoy could wield in the Earthly Celestial Kingdom.

"Lord Duke."

Reina stepped forward, sensing a very alluring aura emanating from the Duke before her.

David closed his eyes briefly, severing the connection between the Snow Demon Spirit and the Ice Hell.

His gaze fell upon Reina, suspecting a link between the Jingge Royal Family’s ancestors and the Ice Hell.

After all, the Snow Demon Spirit’s power should originate from the Ice Hell.

Reina noticed the deep contemplation in David’s eyes; she could sense the change in him, the power fluctuations that were utterly different from before.

A hint of curiosity arose within her, along with a trace of unease.

After all, establishing a connection with the Ice Hell’s power was no easy feat; such power was both mighty and perilous.

Reina cleared her throat, attempting to break the silence between them: "Lord Duke, you seem to have discovered sothing?"

David nodded, his expression serious and focused: "Reina, the power of the Snow Demon Spirit may originate from the Ice Hell."
